The Gangster Vengeance of Barack Obama

Despite the US state-corporate media blackout of the vicious retaliation by neo-Nazi and fascist led militias unleashed in Ukraine reports, videos and pictures are slipping out within the alternative media and Americans are backing a campaign of slaughter that will escalate into ethnic cleansing. With the failure to bother to condemn or to otherwise pick up the phone and call for an end to the violence  US President Barack Hussein Obama has proved once and for all that he is one cold son of a bitch and in the aftermath of the intentionally set fire at the trade union building in Odessa he has made the leap from a thin-skinned narcissist displaying flagrant indifference into outright psychopathy. Mr. Obama is now a full-fledged member of the war criminals club and a dangerous global gangster with enough time left on the clock to give the great murderers a run for their money. 

Having made no secret of his admiration of Ronald Reagan nor his childish grudge towards Russian leader Vladimir Putin – something that is beneath the dignity of office – Obama now seems to have adopted one of Reagan’s practices in using savage death squads to carry out search and destroy missions against political dissidents. Reagan once lovingly compared the right-wing death squads that were sponsored by his administration as “freedom fighters” who were "the moral equivalent of our Founding Fathers" despite their proclivity for torture, rape and murder to make the world safe for ‘democracy’.  Post World War II history is also replete with other US backed slaughters such as the infamous Phoenix Program during the Vietnam and the ongoing midnight raids in Afghanistan. That shining city on the hill loses much of its luster when one realizes that the real business of those who run this country is murder in the name of land grabs, resource control and suppression of real democracy. The history is long and sordid and the events in Odessa on May 2, 2014 should forever live in infamy when it comes to the criminality of those in high places.

One of the more gruesome chronicles of what occurred in Odessa is an article at progressive website OpEd News by George Eliason entitled “Odessa-- the First Pogrom-- The Obama Genocide” and I very strongly recommend it although be forewarned that the imagery presented is not for those with a weak stomach for it contains pictures of atrocities within the building. While any accounts of the abominable conduct of the coup government thugs and their rampage has to this point not been substantiated by ‘official’ media sources the very fact that they have done nothing but lie about everything in Ukraine (with the exception that it is next to Russia) does not discount Mr. Eliason’s work from which I excerpt:

Before people were herded into the Trade Union House, Pravy Sektor was already setting up in the building for what can only be described as a crime against humanity.

People were tortured. Women were raped. People were hacked with axes all the while Pravy Sektor under the group Stop Horowitz blocked the exits. At least one small child perished. Some of the survivors were people on their way home from work that were just passing by.

In the aftermath the Kiev government immediately blamed Russia, claiming agents from Russia and Transnisstria were there. They also claimed in the media that their was fighting going on between pro and ant maidan groups. The survivors of the attack are being charged with separatism, which can carry a life sentence.

AND

In the aftermath so far 126 bodies were found in the basement of the Customs House that did not suffer from the fire. Outside the building another 200 Odessa residents remain missing.

Last night the Police Chief of Odessa deputized over 1800 Pravy Sektor members to find and root out "Separatists." Pravy Sektor is rampaging through Odessa and it is mass slaughter ahead for the large Jewish population here because they speak Russian.

Maxim Sokalov summed it up well in his article today "When the Ghetto Burned"- Odessa pogrom of May 2, 2014 will be one of the blackest pages in Europe (so far rushes new Ukraine) because when supporters set fire to the building of national unity with the people within it and finish off trying to escape from the fire - 1945 Europe did not know this.

As I write this Ukrainian National Guard forces are massacring the population of the village of Semenvika which is on the outskirts of Slovyansk. The junta forces set up concentric rings leading out from the village and at the same time went through the village with heavy machine guns, tanks, and grenade launchers indiscriminately killing residents that are unarmed. Slovyansk forces are taking heavy losses trying to get to the village and protect it.

AND

In Mauriopal Pravy Sektor retook City Hall temporarily by using gas. Fortunately it had an odor. People are in the hospital but all escaped. Residents of Mauriopal retook the building.

I went into town today. I had to go through a few citizens road blocks manned by people that could be from your own neighborhood.

People were on edge but it was quiet. Ten minutes after we left someone on the bus got a call, Pravy Sektor arrived by carloads. Fifteen minutes later in a bus filled mainly with retirees, an attack helicopter ran parallel to us low to the ground until we turned off the road. As the bus entered our town a call came from the mayor, Pravy Sektor was in town demanding peoples passports and tearing them up. Its an easy way to make a Moskal; no identification, no problem.

As I finish this we are waiting for them to show up.

I am mindful of the fact that there is now bounties on the heads of journalists that write about the junta. Phone data is being mined and people are complaining conversations are cut off as soon as politics are mentioned. Two days ago I was scheduled to do an interview by Skype. Five minutes beforehand the internet connection was lost. We hobbled through over the phone. The subject was kept to the days events. After the interview was complete the internet connection returned. It does make you wonder.

There is still time to stop this. Petitions like this one to the European Court on Human Rights is a way people across the world are trying to accomplish this.

The pictures and videos are gut-wrenching and one would imagine that they would be available to those who make the decisions – that Obama has not denounced the killing spree in East Ukraine is damning of not only he but of the American people who allow such atrocities to be carried out in their names and being ignorant is not an excuse because the information is out there. 

The only official media outlet that accounts for any of this is in The Independent from the UK which states:

The dead are still being counted from Odessa’s terrible fire: it was 31 at first, then went up to 48, while the number of injured has risen to 200. Some were burnt alive, some were asphyxiated, some jumped to their deaths.

 The inability of the authorities to say just how many perished, four days on, has prompted dark tales of bodies in the basement spirited away and buried by the authorities. They show, it is claimed, signs of torture; women victims have been raped. There is no evidence to support these claims, but they fester in this atmosphere of malignant hatred and suspicion which is so bitterly dividing Ukraine.

The lack of evidence to support the "claims" are the pictures in Eliason's essay.  

Obama is committed to this and the US-EU-NATO Axis of Aggression as well because the illegitimate government in Kiev with US backing and CIA and FBI advisory assistance is continuing their search and destroy activities and will likely continue to escalate them. 

Somebody Had to Punch the Bully

Barack Obama is going to Europe and America is going to Hell. Still smarting over the audacity of the newest devil of The Homeland Russian leader Vladimir Putin's pretty much telling Barry and the boys to go and fuck themselves and annexing Crimea despite the empty threats and howls of protestation from the political class El Presidente is soon to be on his way across the pond to meet with the heads of US client states over the next move. You have to give it to the man, he never gives up and never learns from his mistakes, January 2017 cannot possibly get here soon enough provided that Obama and his moronic foreign policy team don't get all of us nuked in the interim. I used to think that George W. Bush was a slimy, narcissistic bastard but he has nothing on Obama, at least Bush got a clue in his second term and somewhat distanced himself from the ruinous neocon pack of jackals and their plots for global dominance and after all he did send me $600 which I promptly spent unlike the long-legged lame duck who has spent the past five years stealing money from the taxpayers to subsidize the reckless gambling of his cronies on Wall Street.

The egotistical one is infuriated over Putin's incredible failure to understand where exactly his place is - a footstool to the global finance mafia with thousands of NATO missiles surrounding him - in the new world order of the coming fascist corporate dictatorship. The twin humiliations of Putin's saving of former government contractor turned NSA whistleblower from America's black site torture prisons followed up by his sweeping in to save the day after Obama and Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry had nearly succeeded in selling yet another illegal war in Syria stuck in dear leader's overly sensitive craw. The Russian backlash against the western backed and instigated overthrow of the democratically elected leader of Ukraine, with the assistance of mobs of neo-Nazis and other vicious thugs despite the big bad wolf's huffing and puffing in refusing to go along with the neocon putsch in Kiev was just too much to take. Whatever Obama may have been or could have been (I would suggest the following: an egomaniac ass, an unqualified dupe, a stooge of the oligarchy, an pompous teleprompter reading wonder who somehow managed to hit the political jackpot and an clear chronic fuck up) he has now become the tool of the now resurgent neocon dreams of global conquest. Hitler had nothing on those guys - he didn't have nukes or television.

With Obama now fully out of control in a desperate attempt to remain relevant after having been force fed a borscht and shit sandwich with a vodka chaser by Putin has gone mad having had drunk from the poisonous chalice of the neocons. It is at first inconceivable that so many who had been wrong about so much could still hold as much sway over the ultimate destiny of the United States and by extension the world - particularly those on the ample target list but they never really went away. Robert Parry who runs the great website Consortium News has been on the job while the rest of the pathetic excuse for a domestic media has been speculating about a missing jetliner, feasting like vultures on the flesh of the latest celebrity turned murderer Oscar Pistorius and reciting the daily anti-Putin talking points. Parry's recent piece "Neocons Have Weathered the Storm" is a must read from which I excerpt:

In Election 2006, GOP congressional candidates took a pounding because Bush and the Republicans were most associated with the neocons. In Election 2008, Sen. Hillary Clinton, a neocon-lite who had voted for the Iraq War, lost the Democratic presidential nomination to Sen. Barack Obama, who had opposed invading Iraq. Then, in the general election, Obama defeated neocon standard-bearer John McCain to win the White House.

At that moment, it looked like the neocons were in serious trouble. Indeed, many of them did have to pack up their personal belongings and depart government, seeking new jobs at think tanks or other neocon-friendly non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

More significantly, their grand strategy seemed discredited. Many Americans considered the neocons’ dream of more “regime change” across the Middle East — in countries opposed to Israel, especially Syria and Iran – to be an unending nightmare of death and destruction.

After taking office, President Obama called for winding down Bush’s wars and doing some “nation-building at home.” The broad American public seemed to agree. Even some right-wing Republicans were having second thoughts about the neocons’ advocacy of an American Empire, recognizing its devastating impact on the American Republic.

The Comeback

But the neocons were anything but finished. They had positioned themselves wisely.

They still controlled government-funded operations like the National Endowment for Democracy (NED); they held prominent positions inside think tanks, from the American Enterprise Institute to the Council on Foreign Relations to the Brookings Institution; they had powerful allies in Congress, such as Senators McCain, Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman; and they dominated TV chat shows and opinion pages, particularly at the Washington Post, the capital’s hometown newspaper.

 Since the late 1970s and early 1980s when they first emerged as a noticeable force in Washington, the neocons had become “insiders.” They were both admired and feared for their intellectual ferocity, but — most important for their long-term survival – they had secured access to government money, including the slush fund at NED whose budget grew to over $100 million during the Bush-43 years.

NED, which was founded in 1983, is best known for investing in other countries’ “democracy building” (or CIA-style “destabilization” campaigns, depending on your point of view), but much of NED’s money actually goes to NGOs in Washington, meaning that it became a lifeline for neocon operatives who found themselves out of work because of the arrival of Obama.

While ideological advocates for other failed movements might have had to move back home or take up new professions, the neocons had their financial ballast (from NED and many other sources) so their ideological ship could ride out the rough weather.

And, despite Obama’s opposition to the neocons’ obsession with endless warfare, he didn’t purge them from his administration. Neocons, who had burrowed deep inside the U.S. government as “civil servants” or “career foreign service officers,” remained as a “stay-behind” force, looking for new allies and biding their time.

The lunatics are now running the asylum, I would recommend visiting Consortium News for more of this sort of insight and coverage of things that really matter, trust me. Now unfortunately, the rest as the saying goes is history and so are we unless the current power play is somehow repelled, I have to admit that things are not looking good now that Obama has gone totally rogue and the human gaffe machine Joe Biden is sliming around over in Europe talking shit about US military exercises in a region that thanks to neocon meddling and Obama administration incompetence is already a pile of gasoline soaked tinder just waiting for some idiot to throw in a match.

While I am used to being in the minority of my fellow Americans on many things, first and foremost being that I am an atheist (actually agnostic but people are too damned dumb to understand such a thing) with left libertarian views and an aversion to foreign wars and nation building so it is no big deal to me that I am rootin’ for Putin. With the absorption of Crimea into the Russian Federation and a wonderfully blistering denouncement of US and western hypocrisy the Russian President has finally stood up to the big, bad bully and delivered a long-deserved punch in the nose. The United States or more appropriately The Homeland is nothing but a desiccated husk of what it once was, the country that my own grandfather and his fellow citizens took fire and in many cases died for in World War II no longer exists. The end of that war - the “good war” in the parlance of the profiteering blood barters and paper changers who need the mythology to continue to cash in – allowed a parasitic elite and the political class which it serves to effectively overthrow the American system. The United States of America may still exist but all of that flag-draped righteous persona is nothing but an exo-skeleton, having long been usurped by the Deep State which is the greatest menace to the planet in world history.

I am ashamed to be an American and I am goddamned proud of it too.

I cheer against the Americans at the Olympics, refuse to acknowledge the Star-Spangled banner jingoism at sporting events and consider the Pledge of Allegiance to be the worst type of indoctrination, far surpassing that of the demonized Commies that the neocons and their allies in the so-called tea party confederacy of dunces so decry. There will always be plenty of fools willing to blindly salute whatever horseshit that this rotten to the core and now fully bought and sold government runs up the flag pole. I however am not one of them. 

Hell someone tell me exactly what the fuck there is to be proud about considering what this place has been turned into?

Putin Punks Barry and the Boys

While he is far from the perfect messenger Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered the perfect message with his virulently denounced New York Times Op Ed. Putin, right on the heels of Obama’s vomit inducing nationally broadcast teleprompter recital on Tuesday night proceeded to literally disembowel dear leader, mocking the in over his head amateur who serves as our reality TV president. In the column the Russian leader dared to invoke the forbidden history that during World War II that his country was an ally of the U.S. and Britain and helped to defeat the Nazis. It is arguable that Russian fighting against the Germans at Stalingrad, one of the bloodiest battles in the history of mankind turned the tide and allowed for the allies to win the war. The Russians chewed up the Nazis in that brutal winter mosh pit of misery that caused the lunatic Adolf Hitler to arrogantly lose a good chunk of his military power while delivering a crushing blow to German resolve. The extreme violence and devastation on the Eastern front were critical in allowing the Americans to successfully invade Europe and then roll over the Nazis as they roared towards Berlin. The Russians don’t get enough credit here while Sir Winston gets too much of it but such is standard western hypocrisy that we are constantly fed. Especially though when one of those hypocrisies was throwing in with the despotic Joseph Stalin who was right up there with Hitler when it comes to crimes against humanity but he was our kind of bastard at just the right time. The leadership of this country has quite an impressive  track record when it comes to supporting ruthless scum who torture and murder their own people so that western business interests can open new markets and plunder resources.

But I digress…

The reminder that Russia and Uncle Sam were on the same side in the “good war” upon which such a hallowed status has been bestowed so as to justify all other wars may have been a nicely delivered and well-deserved body blow but what came next sent the swine into orbit. Putin delivered a nice running dropkick in the nuts to Obama and his warmongering cohorts in correctly pointing out that “millions around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy but relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together under “your’re either with us or against us.”  Vladimir had that just a tad wrong though because there are millions right here in Der Homeland who feel exactly the same way. With the stumblebum Obama then on the ropes Putin delivered the knockout punch in calling out Barry’s appeals to that most destructive of concepts that is American exceptionalism:

“it is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.”

Then the bell rang as Obama hit the canvas and the pigs started crying foul.

The corporate-state media was unanimous in the condemnation of Putin. Liberal hacks were busily exploiting gay people as political footballs in decrying Putin’s persecution of homosexuals. Right wingers were in a fury because their mythical belief in an almighty and just America had been challenged, it was as though Putin had spat upon Marion Morrison’s (aka John Wayne) grave.  Bombs Away McCain who is a textbook example of the “ugly American” wants to personally throw down with Putin by writing his own column for Pravda. Is this a sick country or what? The near sexual allure of attacking Syria is so intense that even the notorious anti-Muslim bigot and IRA terrorist supporter Peter King is saying that he is thinking about running for president.

Meanwhile the war machine continues to churn out the propaganda, notably a piece in the Wall Street Journal titled Elite Syrian Unit Scatters Chemical Arms Stockpile by a trio of establishment hacks. The piece goes on to chronicle the exploits of a “secretive Syrian military unit at the center of the Assad regime’s chemical weapons program” that has been “moving stocks of poison gases and munitions to as many as 50 sites to make them harder for the U.S. to track”. The piece has more holes than Swiss cheese, first and foremost being that if the unit was so “secret” how is it that the standard unnamed “American and Middle East officials” know about it and second just why in the hell should anyone believe a damned thing that is published in the Wall Street Journal?

This is the same paper that was just embarrassed for prominently featuring a pro-Syrian war columnist named Elizabeth O’Bagy who was exposed as a fraud. Ms. O’Bagy whose columns were cited as justification for war by both Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry and the increasingly unstable war freak John McCain was no objective source of information. She was actually a plant at the WSJ who worked for one of those ubiquitous neocon think tanks as well as a paid shill for the Syrian rebels. Her work included debunking the ugly truths that the same rebels that are being armed by the U.S. are chock-a-block with fanatical Islamists including members of Al Qaeda. When it was found that she had lied about her academic credentials the think tank which goes by the name The Institute for the Study of War  flew into damage controle mode and fired O'Bagy. This not only speaks volumes of a lack of journalistic integerity at the Rupert Murdoch owned WSJ. a rag that routinely pimps neocon propaganda but also to the disturbing degree of influence that the neocons still exercise over U.S. foreign policy following their role in the Iraq fiasco. I am sure that O’Bagy will soon get another gig at another neocon think tank, they will just know better than to trot her out as a PhD because when it comes right down to it even a monkey can wave a bloody flag.

The second big propaganda story is that the mysterious Al Qaeda “leader” Ayman al-Zawahri a man who has become the Emmanuel Goldstein of the times surfaced to call for “small-scale attacks inside the United States to bleed America economically”. Hell, when it comes to bleeding the country economically the Obama administration and our treacherous congress are already doing exactly that right now. Consider also that with the looming appointment of the insipid, bursting at the seams burlap bagful of pigshit Larry Summers, a key contributor to the current economic disaster as Federal Reserve Chairman Barry has already beaten al-Zawahri/Goldstein to the punch. As for the “small scale” attacks that is all just more of the same state hogwash to justify ever more invasive NSA Stasi surveillance and police state tactics to be directed towards anti-war activists, anti-tax groups and anyone who dares to complain about the jackboot that has been applied to the nation’s trachea ever since those towers fell.  Barry and the boys were already steaming over their entire botched Syrian attack and now having to endure the added indignity of Putin appearing in the nation’s largest newspaper just to apply a nice twist to Obama’s balls they are spoiling for blood vengeance. Too bad that it is only going to be the innocent who will end up paying the price but that is what bullies are all about.

While the establishment pigs bleated in a cacophony of phony outrage over the Putin column and always dutiful on the payroll media propagandists carried their water in smearing Putin there were alternative media writers who as usual were spot on with their analysis. Former Reagan administration figure Paul Craig Roberts, a prolific and vocal critic of the transformation of what was once a free country into the doomed empire of greed, war and stupidity that it has become in the new American century wrote in his column Putin Steps Into World Leadership Role:

If Putin had wanted to give obama the full rebuke that obama deserves, Putin could have said: “obama is correct that the policy of the US government is what makes the US exceptional. The US is the only country in the world that has attacked 8 countries in 12 years, murdering and dispossessing millions of Muslims all on the basis of lies. This is not an exceptionalism of which to be proud."

Another uncompromising critic of our hypocritical and deadly foreign policy, Justin Raimondo of Antiwar.com in his column Putin the Peacemaker nailed it:

The mystic doctrine of "American exceptionalism" has long dominated the foreign policy consensus in Washington. It has both "right" and "left" versions, but in both cases the idea is essentially the same: John F. Kennedy gave voice to it in his 1961 Inaugural Address, when he declared the US must "pay any price, bear any burden" in the international struggle to contain the Communist Menace in Latin America and elsewhere. It was the rhetorical prelude to the Bay of Pigs disaster and our increasing military presence in Vietnam.

Although Communism was the bogeyman of the moment, the "pay any price bear any burden" mentality survived the cold war: Indeed, the demise of the old Soviet Union emboldened America’s political class to update and upgrade this exceptionalism, which supposedly gives us a divine mandate to police the post-cold war world order in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan – and now Syria. If any other nation arrogated this task to itself, it would be called by its right name: imperialism. Yet that’s what "American exceptionalism" is all about: we’re supposedly the exception to this rule.

Except we’re not, as Putin points out – and the American people agree. The US public is often characterized as being "war weary," as if they are slouches, selfish monsters who have put down this noble burden at the very moment it must be taken up with fresh vigor. Yet what they are weary of is the arrogance that engenders our foreign policy of perpetual war: the self-satisfied smugness with which our elites weave narratives that turn out to be a passel of lies. Americans are empire-weary because they see the corroding effects of imperialism on their own society – the decline in living standards coupled with the deterioration of civil liberties and the ongoing corruption of the political class.

But the state sponsored stooges in the corporate media and the Pentagon pimps sent forth from their well-funded neocon propaganda mills will have none of it. How dare a man like Vladimir Putin have the unmitigated audacity to call out the most special of all lands in all of human history and to of all things blaspheme the religion of the exceptional people of that land. The news just broke that the U.S. and Russia have reached a deal on Syria's chemical weapons. President Assad has one week to produce a comprehensive list of his chemical weapons arsenal and the clock is ticking. It is both mission impossible and mission accomplished at the same time, given the aforementioned Wall Street Journal piece on the secretive Assad unit that is squirreling away the stockpile it won't be long until Barry calls in the airstrikes. 

CNN Pushes War Porn to Make the Case For Obama's Syrian Attack

To accuse CNN of a gross breach of journalistic integrity would be to undeservedly bestow the network with credibility as a news organization. CNN is like the rest of the corrupt, consolidated corporate media in America, they are nothing more than state propaganda organs. Today in upping the ante for Obama’s Tuesday sales pitch for yet another war the imagery of the poor gassed victims of the August 21st Gouta incident are being trotted out for public consumption in a CNN “Exclusive”. It’s no wonder that Barry remains confident that he can easily dupe the countryinto another Middle Eastern war of choice that goes against any sane person’s definition of what constitutes the national interest. He has the imagery of the twitching, dying little children (including a toddler) as his greatest tool yet when he makes the case to the sheeple that war is peace come this Tuesday night. The imagery is horrifying, gut-wrenching and abominable but really, CNN’s abhorrent exploitation of the dead is somehow far repugnant for it is akin to necrophilia.

A red line has indeed been crossed here and it is representative of just how low that Obama and his allies in the media will go to sell his and Kerry’s illegal Syrian war. The videos will absolutely horrify TV addled Americans into lining up to salute the dear leader. By the time that he finishes with his demagoguery and the inevitable linkages to September 11, 2001 and that would have savage Islamic fanatics unleashing sarin in a shopping mall near you just in time for Christmas. Al Qaeda is back but there is no need to bother with the inconvenient truth that Obama and his rogue regime are allied with them in Syria. Still absent from any of the shilling for Obama’s war is the matter of WHO was responsible for the gas? It is grudgingly being acknowledged by some that Obama and Kerry have no actual proof of who exactly did the gassing? But as Secretary of Skull and Bones Kerry is so fond of telling the nuisance that is the American public, it is a slam dunk case but it is all secret, just like the anti-constitutional FISA courts utilized by Obama’s NSA Stasi.

When it comes to the bogus moral outrage I can’t seem to recall the CNN people using footage of the 2004 U.S. led decimation of the city of Fallujah in Iraq where the now outraged Empire used (and has been used in the past) chemical warfare including white phosphorous incendiary munitions as well as depleted uranium to lay waste to the city. The remnants of the depleted uranium to this day is causing grotesque birth defects among children. Where was CNN when during the course of the Iraq war over 100,000 civilians were murdered, a good many of them also happened to be children (probably toddlers as well) by errant bombs and missiles? That just doesn’t fit the narrative of a righteous and just people acting as though they were the avenging sword of God himself with Obama leading the crusade. You also will not see CNN giving much airtime to this particular video which shows our precious Syrian rebels engaged in a nauseating and bloodthirsty slaughter of Syrian army regulars who have been stripped, bowed and ultimately executed in as cold blooded a manner as any ever undertaken by the Nazis.

In addition to the emotional bludgeoning of Americans by the heinous imagery in CNN’s proud exclusive of dead child war porn there are reports popping up to soften the image of the rebels as the public relations campaign churns on. In the coming days look for puff pieces that try to transform marauding packs of thugs with a taste for human flesh into the type of cuddly, driven “freedom fighters” that Americans can be proud to arm – even when they are incinerating churches and murdering Christians. But Obama and the war machine will not be deterred, despite a letter written by several former intelligence officials warning of the trap that he is marching into but it will be to no avail and will not be heeded. Obama is a dangerous narcissist, an incompetent heading up an administration chock a block full of political hacks, charlatans, warmongers and opportunists as well as a vainglorious ass who is all too willing to gamble American blood and treasure on a fool’s errand. He is bereft of dignity, foreign policy experience and the maturity to put aside petty slights to his enormous ego when consequences as grave as World War III are distinctly possible.

And so it goes, the lunatic choir sings from the state media hymnal as Barry prepares to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight during the continuing downtrend that plagues this rotting empire of hypocrisy.

There's No Debating Over Latest War in Obama's America

The lack of debate over Obama and his Congressional  co-conspirators’ upcoming  Syrian war flies in the face of what a democratic society should be based on but we sadly no longer live in one. The self-righteous, self-serving  jingoist rhetoric that has poisoned the discourse for two weeks now is ratcheting up ever higher on a daily basis. Obama administration apparatchik and their bloodthirsty, warmongering allies like Senator John McCain may babble about “democracy” in the Middle East yet it is all more of the same Orwellian doublespeak. As Barry and the boys move heaven and earth to save face after his moronic “red line” statement on Syrian escalation there is a complete absence of anything but the official state narrative that saturates American media. If you don’t like it then you just may be a traitor, a conspiracy theorist or just downright anti-American, it is just another flavor of the same manure that was peddled by the Bush-Cheney crew when they browbeat Americans into attacking Iraq on bogus pretenses. The imminent Syrian misadventure actually makes it look as though Obama’s predecessor really did have the smoking gun, so shoddy, frantic and made up as they go along is their case for this looming foreign policy fiasco.

The hypnotic drumbeat goes on even as the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has just provided the Obama-Kerry-Rice Axis of Evil with another item to check off of the list with an approval for strikes that was just voted out of committee. The corrupt Senate will likely vote on Monday followed by the House and then Barry will have the political cover to swing the big guns in the direction of Damascus for the latest of our modern Crusades. It is imperative that the heavy lifting of propagandizing the sheeple and conducting the sham of a congressional ‘debate’ be done before more facts about the Ghouta gassing seep out to blow a hole in the entire stinking Obama case for war. The last thing that can be allowed is for the U.N. inspection results (which could take 3 weeks) to muck things up and the administration according to a Washington Post story the administration has already dismissed U.N. inspectors citing that: “the findings — expected in less than two weeks — no longer matter, citing its own evidence that the Syrian government was behind the chemical weapons attack in the Damascus suburbs”. Seems like the entirety of the U.N. involvement was nothing more than a dog and pony show as the decision has already been made based on the same type of secret evidence that Obama’s secret FISA court produces. Yet the rulers of  this country have the audacity to preach democracy to the rest of the world, hypocrisy is the coin of the realm in 2013 America.

In our phony “democracy” what the ordinary schmucks want has not mattered for a good long time now, it has been made especially clear under Obama. Despite widespread resistance the regime rammed the bitter pill of Obamacare down the throats of Americans without a chaser. This massive expansion of big government is when it all comes down to it nothing more than a gift to the insurance parasites to whom it delivers yoked and chained millions of new customers with the threat of punitive action by the state levied against those who do not comply.  Obama has also presided over the ongoing strip-mining operations that have destroyed the U.S. economy and provided taxpayer house money for the well-heeled degenerates on Wall Street to gamble with. He has also launched an unprecedented assault on the Second Amendment and has the most powerful surveillance machine in human history at his disposal along with the DEA, DOJ and IRS as his enforcers. The IRS already has gone after political foes under this regime and the abuses of the NSA were only coming to light until the war machine and all of its accoutrements was fired up. None of this was debated nor even mentioned during the 2012 election which rapidly degenerated into the same state media friendly, substance free clash of dueling cults of personality. The only, and I emphasize only reason that Obama was able to win a second term was due to the abysmal quality of his opponent, an arrogant, high-rolling vulture capitalist  flip-flopper from Massachusetts who viewed over half of America with contempt and alienated a good portion of the conservative base. Not to infer that Mitt Romney would not have started another war because when you have a guy like Dan Senor as your top foreign policy adviser it would have been foremost on the agenda.

But I digress…

The Obama war on Syria is as inevitable this morning as the venality and sheer dishonesty of his war cabinet. Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry has repeatedly been caught stretching the truth whenever he wasn’t lying outright. So much so that Russian leader Vladimir Putin even came out and called bullshit on the former Democratic party presidential election loser.  The state propaganda mills are grinding their gears today in portraying Putin as the devil for rightfully pointing out that Kerry is indeed a liar who deliberately played down the role of Al Qaeda groups among the Syrian militants. It takes balls to defend the same terrorist organization that twelve years ago next Tuesday brought such devastation to American shores with the destruction of the World Trade Center, part of the Pentagon and murdered over 3,000 of our citizens in the process. It is remarkable that Kerry and the rest of Obama’s gangster administration would bed down with such wolves as they trump up the gassing of a still undetermined number of Syrians by still undetermined parties to override 9/11 as though those who died that day at the hand of Al Qaeda are somehow insignificant. Kerry also seems to have found a new “Curveball” in falsely attributing claims of an alleged high level Syrian defector. While he was providing testimony in front of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Kerry trotted out this whopper: “Just today, before coming in here, I read an e-mail to me about a general, the minister of defense, former minister or assistant minister, I forget which, who has just defected and is now in Turkey”. The problem, and give credit to columnist Dana Milbank of the WaPo for pointing it out is that Kerry was referring to a Reuters news story and NOT any such email at all. This administration seems to have an abundant supply of liars to trot out in front of Congress, Kerry is right up there with the perjurer James Clapper yet he wasn’t called on it.

The original Massachusetts flip-flopper continues to throw as much crap against the wall to see what sticks, the latest being that the administration has been assured by unspecified “Arab countries” that they would pick up the tab and pay the full cost of a U.S. ground invasion of Syria. That cost of course is denominated in dollars and not blood, to the decadent and oppressive Saudi monarchy money means nothing. They probably could pay for the war off of the loose change that could be dredged out of their chair cushions. One wonders what the whopper of the day will be for Kerry who married into the Heinz family ketchup fortune and is the consummate inside man representing the will of the global elite. Kerry isn’t the only prevaricator either, newly minted Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel is today having to back off of the bald-faced lie thatRussia was providing chemical weapons to the Assad regime in Syria. The Pentagon has been forced to walk back Hagel’s fairy tale, with Obama at the G20 soiree in Russia and tensions between the prince of petulance and Putin already running high over the Snowden affair it doesn’t exactly contribute to civil small talk over dinner. Obama will use the occasion to shill for his new war but once you get outside the borders of Der Homeland it is a horrifying realization to our leaders that people elsewhere and not subject to the media brainwashing actually are able to think for themselves. Now even the Pope has even come out to weigh in on the “futile” military solution in Syria.

Protests and serious moral stances against what could very well be Obama’s bumbling provocation of WW III and subsequent death toll in the millions are indeed futile. The propaganda imagery of the victims of the Gouta gassing which are the sinister pornography of state aggression are are just too mesmerizing. I know people, very smart people who are in a state of high frenzy today and braying for an attack on Syria, they are not O-Bots either. One longtime friend shrilly accused me of being a monster for not buying the war propaganda because by God if Assad is gassing his own people it won’t be long before he has a nuke. This is a man who would sooner sing the praises of Satan himself than Obama who he openly detests yet he has been co-opted as an advocate for the true monsters. The looped video of the poor dead children, victims of a geopolitical game that they will never grow up to understand is just too powerful, to a television lobotomized population they are the most ass-kicking club in the bag for the war machine. As libertarian writer Justin Raimondo of Antiwar.com wrote in his most recent column about how Democrat and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is now shamefully exploiting her own grandchild as a prop to sell the war pegs it spot on:

Pelosi wails about “the children.” Yes, it’s always about “the children,” isn’t it? Every war propaganda campaign in modern history has featured them in starring roles as the ubiquitous first victims of the tyrant’s sword. The Kaiser was impaling them on Prussian bayonets, according to Her Majesty’s propagandists intent on dragging us into WWI: more recently, images of newborns thrown out of their incubators and trodden underfoot by Iraqi jackboots were conjured by the Emir’s propagandists as the rationale for Gulf War I. Screaming crying children clinging to their mothers’ skirts served as background music for “news” reports designed to gin up the Kosovo war.

Yet there are some babies the War Party would rather not talk about—such as those who will come under the heading of “collateral damage” as US bombs rain on Syria. They don’t want to talk about the babies caught up in the sectarian cleansing campaign that will be carried out by US-backed Syrian jihadists as our air strikes give them the advantage. There won’t be many Alawite or Christian children left in the whole country by the time US-backed “rebels” overrun the place.

Selectively child-centered war pornography is a staple in the interventionist arsenal, the old stand by resorted to when reason fails: indeed, the failure of reason, and the prevention of rational thought is the cognitive goal of all war propaganda. Facts, logic, evidence, all are thrown out the window and raw emotion overrides thought. Violence is the inevitable result.

It’s easy to manipulate people when their rational faculties are shut down. Under these circumstance, full-grown women and men don’t even know they’re being manipulated – but the Littlest Pelosi wasn’t fooled. That’s because children, being master manipulators themselves, usually know when someone’s trying to put one over on them. Skillfully dodging Grandma’s war propaganda aimed at his heart, he wanted the facts, and his incisive question – “Were these children in the United States?” – goes right to the heart of the matter.

You do have to admit that it works and it especially works for Barack H. Obama who is already well versed in the art of the exploitation of dead children to push a radical political agenda. One needs to only harken back to last December when El Presidente used the tragic slaughter o fgrade schoolers by a heavily armed lunatic at Sandy Hook Elementary School to cynically push for more gun control. The right for Americans to bear arms has been enshrined by the Second Amendment yet this rogue leader would go after that most basic guarantee of liberty, using his government goons and the power of the state to impinge upon that which is most fundamental. He also has shown his obvious contempt for the Constitution by allowing his NSA Stasi, which has now been completely banished from the state media to wage war against the Fourth Amendment and if you include his war on journalists the First Amendment as well. So there will be war in Syria and soon, with the Constitution pretty much already torn to shreds by Barry and his minions all but the willfully blind should be able to see that we no longer live in a functional democracy and no amount of propaganda and lip service by charlatans can obscure that lamentable fact.

The Obama War Machine's Propaganda Blitzkrieg

As Obama’s propaganda onslaught begins the burgeoning  media promoted “bromance” with former rival John McCain is an essential selling point for the coming murder of Syrian civilians. McCain, as bloodthirsty a bastard as this country has seen since the legendary General Curtis LeMay has never met a war that he couldn’t get behind. I suspect that a good deal of the old war criminal’s support for the American war machine derives from his role as the Pentagon’s de-facto king lobbyist, the rest of course is that he is a psychopath. The media’s favorite bloodsucking vampire was out on Monday making the case for the coming carnage with his trusty sidekick Lindsey Graham at his side and braying that the failure of Congress to rubber stamp Barry’s war would be “catastrophic”. The state media today (led by the NY Times which helped lie the country into Iraq) is trumpeting that Barry has landed the support of Bombs Away McCain as a backer of WW III. Call it the bravery of being out of range as  chickenhawks who never served in the military,  neocons of dubious national loyalty and self-proclaimed “mavericks” who never had to actually look one of those he killed in the eye (rather he dropped bombs on them) are again lining up to support the latest and perhaps final war for the U.S. Empire.

Yet it is foreign countries that are the ones doing the most pushing for U.S. entry into Syria. The culprits are ‘allies’ Saudi Arabia and Israel, both of which have missiles and military of their own yet want Americans to self-immolate and prostrate themselves in order to fight their damned war. Israel is making matters worse by reportedly engaging in a missile test in the Mediterranean, causing the Russians to react with alarm as the Obama regime has now sent forth the USS Nimitz carrier group into the Red Sea. Russia’s reaction is merited considering that the area is now packed with heavily armed naval vessels that are ready to rock on command. There is also the matter of our petulant emperor who  is still seething over Putin’s granting of asylum to former Booz Allen leaker Edward Snowden and despite the political theater of having congress sign off on his war has an itchy trigger finger as well as a demonstrable lack of morality. Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry has reportedly reassured Israeli leader Bibi Netanyahu that the plans for war are still on and has made it crystal clear that vote or no vote that Lord Obama has the authority to start the war on his own. Kerry has also been thickly slathering on the WW II “good war” metaphors as grist to the state media propaganda mills, inevitably comparing Syrian leader Assad to Hitlerand now proclaiming that the upcoming congressional vote is their very own “Munich moment”.  To illustrate just how outrageous that Kerry’s hypocrisy is there are stories now surfacing that he not long ago dined with “Hitler” along with both of their wives and at the time was saying that “Syria is an essential player in bring peace and stability to the region”.  The man is a absolute charlatan, his ginned up outrage over chemical weapons use is a mockery as his self-serving history shows he  fought for the very country that dumped millions of tons of Agent Orange indiscriminately on civilians in Vietnam.

The other foreign entity pushing for Obama to attack Syria is Saudi Arabia, our “partners in peace”and lo and behold who has resurfaced but Bandar Bush himself. Prince Bandar is working furiously to have the Obama administration attack and topple Assad and to provide the pigs of a loathsome and oppressive Saudi monarchy with more power in the region. There are currently reports, although I cannot vouch for their veracity that are starting to get out that Bandar himself is responsible for the chemicals that facilitated the Ghouta gassing. The story is from a Minnesota based website Mint Press News which possibly has been stormed by Obama’s government Gestapo because I’ll be damned if I can get the site to come up right now to provide a link to the actual piece so here is one from Antiwar.com. Liberal media watchdog FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting) references the MPN story in asking the forbidden question in whose account is more credible? I would not believe a damned word that comes out of Obama and Kerry and I would also mention that the that Prince Bandar bin Sultan hails from is the same country from which fifteen of the nineteen September 11, 2001 hijackers came from. Bandar’s wife was also at one time reported to have sent money to the wives of two friends of the hijackers but The Kingdom was cleared of any involvement in funding the attacks by the Bush regime. This is the same Bush regime that allowed several planeloads of Saudi nationals to flee the U.S. while airspace was locked down in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. The presence of Bandar Bush and the Saudis in the push to attacking Syria has the stench of a very large rat.

The propaganda blitzkrieg is in full swing this week and will continue to ramp up next week as the corrupt and debauched congress returns from its latest month long taxpayer funded vacation to ‘debate’ Barry’s coming attack on Syria. Very conveniently the week also happens to be the twelfth anniversary of the Septermber 11, 2001 attacks so expect much demagoguery from both sides as they exhume the poor, dead victims of that tragic day and once again exploit them for political purposes. The fear factor will likely be ratcheted up as well with more apocalyptic conjecture about the Hitler/Assad regime providing sarin gas to terrorists who will then bring it to Smalltown USA and unleash it upon the citizenry. We have seen this before yet the sheeple have the memory and attention span of gnats and a good percentage will be duped again by the liars who run the war machine. The only saving grace this time is technology, the internet was not the source of information that it is today when Bush lied the country into Iraq over the pretense of Saddam’s WMD. There are also social networking and telecommunications tools that didn’t exist back in 2002-2003 which gives those who are able to think for themselves a medium to counter the state propaganda. Granted Obama’s Stasi is watching and recording ALL of it but they really can’t stop it either. For Barry’s rogue administration to start actually going after bloggers etc or throw the internet kill switch altogether it will expose for all our preening wolf of a dictator finally shorn of his sheep’s clothing.

And once a dictator has revealed himself it is only a matter of time until he falls.

Windsurfing Towards Armageddon

John Kerry was anywhere and everywhere as he windsurfed towards Armageddon across the telecreens today. El Presidente Barack H. Obama’s top salesman for the upcoming kickoff of WW III appeared on several of the noxious weekly Sabbath gabfests hustling the administration line that – GASP – sarin gas was used on Syrian civilians last week. With faux moral outrage practically oozing out of his pampered elitist pores, the Secretary of Skull and Bones pimped this toxic bit of disinformation, spinning it for maximum effect. What Kerry didn’t bother with is that while the use of chemical weapons in Syria has really not been disputed at all it is still unknown as to exactly WHO used them. But such nuances are lost on the masses of asses who from early indications are swallowing Barry’s trickery hook, line and sinker.  The Sunday morning saturation bombing will dutifully be picked up by the state-corporate media echo chamber and the public mind will again be prepped for another outrageous and ruinous war of choice, this one certain to set off an uncontrollable chain reaction. The minute that the first wave of bombs and missiles hit oil prices will be sent soaring into the stratosphere. By the time that they hit escape velocity it will be far too late for the doomed ordinary schmucks who will experience the double-barreled economic shock of gas and food hyperinflation like a cattle prod to the testicles.

Kerry’s revelations are only meant to sway the sheeple into accepting the coming slaughter but they are really nothing than a straw man. The rogue leadership of the U.S. can waive their bloody flag and bray bogus patriotic blather until they are hoarse from their shouting but this is really not about concern for the poor gassed Syrians. Where was the threat of military force during the last two years when 100,000 Syrians were killed, often in a savage an brutal manner?  The White House has now also resorted to the disgusting and exploitative use of the “protect Israel” angle to enlist more public support for the coming military and economic debacle.  While Israel is a key U.S. ally, a virtual garrison of western power parked smack dab in the middle of a hostile territory of fanatical and irrational religion is it not it time to just start putting America first for a change? And by that I mean our own country and our civil liberties and economy, not big oil and gas and military industrial complex money making machines whose only loyalty is to filling their coffers with the profits that they extract from the infliction of human misery. Now there is a moral obscenity that Mr. Kerry can’t be troubled with.

The bizarre down the rabbit hole world of eternal war and freedom strangling domestic fascism that opened in the aftermath of September 11, 2001 has to end for this country will not survive otherwise. That rabbit hole is rapidly becoming a grave and unless there is a return to the principles upon which this once great country was founded upon we are destined for history’s scrapheap along with all of the rest of the failed empires.  It was the man touted as the father of this country, George Washington who warned of the perils of foreign entanglements yet today the amoral hucksters, crooks and self-aggrandizing rats who occupy the city that is named after him are hell bent on escalating hostilities in Syria in order to serve the interests of the elite. The elite that they are paid damned well to represent, you will never see the sons and daughters of the banksters at Goldman Sachs sent off to die in this war, that is for the little people.

The entire rotten D.C. Establishment is going to back Barry’s criminal war, there is always bipartisanship when it comes to such things, there are rebels like Justin Amash and Rand Paul but they are marginalized by a corrupt process that allows for a small cabal of lawmakers such as the always hyped Gang of Eight, a Senate within the Senate to ultimately dictate policy absent a true majority. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are already on board with this war and I still continue to hear the silly liberals who back the putrid atrocity that is the Democratic Party as if we actually live in a functional democracy. The real decision makers are all singing in unison in the madhouse choir as the war wagon careens towards the edge of a cliff into the abyss. Kerry may have been the most ubiquitous charlatan on the propaganda circuit but he was far from the only one. The state media has already been amplifying their chants for war more years on their websites and in their newspapers.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, a fascist’s fascist is one of those leading the stampede to another war. A former FBI agent and the loudest of the surveillance state’s defenders Rogers was quoted by the beltway house organ Politico:

“For two years, the Iranian-backed Syrian regime has been free to engage in the slaughter of its own people with little but rhetorical responses from the United States. Now that the regime has crossed our red line regarding the use of chemical weapons, we must carefully consider whether the credibility of the United States necessitates military action to enforce that position,” Rogers said in a statement on Saturday. “We must also consider what message a failure to act would send to other adversaries and our allies around the world. And finally, we must debate whether a decision by Congress denying the President authority to respond with military force would fulfill U.S. national security interests.”

TRANSLATION: “fulfill U.S. national security interests” means instantly and forever shutting down any more inquiries into the massive, unconstitutional NSA Stasi and the swine in Congress, such as Mr. Rogers who have willingly enabled this cancer on a free society to metastasize.  Wagging the dog is the order of the day as the star spangled bunting is draped over what may ultimately be this nation’s last illicit foreign war, simply because it has the potential to turn into the planet destroying final conflict that will bust humanity back to the Stone Age. Thanks to treacherous snakes like Rogers, Kerry, Feinstein, McCain, Graham, Pelosi, Cheney, Bush and Obama just to name a few we really are not much different than our primal ancestors. Early humans gathered together into mobs and raiding parties to bash in the skulls of others with crude weaponry constructed with animal bones and rocks to steal their food and rape their women. Their methods were more savage but the need for violence and plunder is a thing that has never been completely purged from the gene pool as civilizations evolved.  It is due to the unquenchable and shameless thirst for power, money, influence and the eternal glory of having one’s name stamped into history as a winner of a great war that we have not been able to evolve as a society into a far more peaceful, decent and humble nation – one that minds our own business and actually occupies the moral high ground.

Despite the propagandizing, the pontificating and spewing of jingoist clichés and platitudes smothered in hypocrisy the Congressional seal of approval on WW III is all just a big lie anyway. It is non-binding so Barry and the boys are going to bomb the shit out of Syria anyway. This is all just political theater too allow for the scum and scoundrels who have hijacked this country to cover their asses and hide behind the tattered remnants of the Constitution when it turns into an irreversible global catastrophe. The hated Glenn Greenwald nails it in his latest column for The Guardian:

It’s a potent sign of how low the American political bar is set that gratitude is expressed because a US president says he will ask Congress to vote before he starts bombing another country that is not attacking or threatening the US. That the US will not become involved in foreign wars of choice without the consent of the American people through their representatives Congress is a central mandate of the US Constitution, not some enlightened, progressive innovation of the 21st century. George Bush, of course, sought Congressional approval for the war in Iraq (though he did so only once it was clear that Congress would grant it: I vividly remember watching then-Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Joe Biden practically begging the Bush White House to “allow” Congress to vote on the attack while promising in advance that they would approve for it).

But what makes the celebratory reaction to yesterday’s announcement particularly odd is that the Congressional vote which Obama said he would seek appears, in his mind, to have no binding force at all. There is no reason to believe that a Congressional rejection of the war’s authorization would constrain Obama in any way, other than perhaps politically. To the contrary, there is substantial evidence for the proposition that the White House sees the vote as purely advisory, i.e., meaningless.

Recall how – in one of most overlooked bad acts of the Obama administration – the House of Representatives actually voted, overwhelmingly, against authorizing the US war in Libya, and yet Obama simply ignored the vote and proceeded to prosecute the war anyway (just as Clinton did when the House rejected the authorization he wanted to bomb Kosovo, though, at least there, Congress later voted to allocate funds for the bombing campaign). Why would the White House view the President’s power to wage war in Libya as unconstrainable by Congress, yet view his power to wage war in Syria as dependent upon Congressional authorization?

Let’s face it, nothing is going to stop this from happening. The added time between Barry’s Rose Garden exercise in the bullshit dispersal on Saturday and the coming congressional ‘debate’ and subsequent vote only gives those with the most to gain from this war more time to manufacture additional outrage. Perhaps another sarin gas attack or two is in the offing. There is nothing quite like the exploitation of dead children that tugs on the heartstrings of gullible Americans who too easily offer up a meek consent of the governed along with the willingness to entrust their cynical leaders to undertake state atrocities in their name. They would have made good Germans..
