State Department Runs Amok as Obama Plays Golf

The presidential reality television show, as the Obama administration was once dubbed by trends forecaster Gerald Celente continues to descend into theater of the absurd territory as American foreign policy - or the lack of one that is sane - sets the world ablaze and the narcissist in chief goes golfing and raises money for the Democrats. Like George W. Bush retreating to Chickenhawk Ranch, that phony cowboy movie set in Crawford, Texas to chop brush and ride his dirt bike and letting Cheney run things, dear leader is content to do likewise with the crazed State Department engages in continuing to provoke Russia into what could be World War III. If this is what now passes for liberalism it is the "improve or we'll kill you" brand.

It is obvious by now that Obama has checked out and now shorn of all international credibility due to the planetary surveillance grid under the purview of the NSA Stasi, the ongoing wars and failure to stop ethnic cleansing (if not tacitly encouraging it) and stretching the global economy to the breaking point with idiotic sanctions and the saving of the Wall Street fraudsters -he is getting a head start on the taxpayer funded life of luxury that he will enjoy for his remaining days. Not only has Obama no credibility internationally - the puppet states only continue their lemming march over the cliff due to US coercion - but outside of the low-information nincompoops and the O-Bots he has little left in Der Homeland either. Republicans have obstructed him from day one and exposed him as an amateur and a chump unprepared for the Washington steel cage death match and his reactions to his enemies and to events in general shows that he was never anything more than an amateur and a shitty politician. Certainly not a leader.

His big domestic signature achievement - Obamacare - as as big a flaming disaster as the Middle East (it was nothing more than one big corporate ripoff from day one), to this day not one big Wall Street banker has been thrown into prison for wrecking the economy and the surveillance and police state have been strengthened for when the real dictator takes power in the USA!, USA!, USA!. The Republicans will regain control of the Senate in November and El Presidente will spend the rest of his term dodging subpoenas on whatever golf course he is slithering around on, his legacy now secure as the man who not only put a star-spangled seal of approval on the war crimes of the Bush - Cheney regime but has run up an impressive number of his own. Those who voted for Obama - although the other options were much worse - were duped by the product as president. Leftist writer Chris Hedges summed it up just about perfectly back in 2009 in his column "Buying Brand Obama":

Barack Obama is a brand. And the Obama brand is designed to make us feel good about our government while corporate overlords loot the Treasury, our elected officials continue to have their palms greased by armies of corporate lobbyists, our corporate media diverts us with gossip and trivia and our imperial wars expand in the Middle East. Brand Obama is about being happy consumers. We are entertained. We feel hopeful. We like our president. We believe he is like us. But like all branded products spun out from the manipulative world of corporate advertising, we are being duped into doing and supporting a lot of things that are not in our interest.

Obama's incompetence and disengagement created a vacuum in the power structure and this was rapidly filled by a neocon infested State Department first led by Obama's chief political rival in 2008 Hillary Clinton (hell hath no fury like this particular woman scorned) and later the globe-trotting buffoon John "Skull and Bones" Kerry. The morons at Foggy Bottom have been instrumental in leading the USA! USA! USA! to the brink of WW III thanks to former Dick Cheney aide Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nuland who was instrumental in setting into motion the current debacle of historic proportions in Ukraine. Nuland, the spouse of PNAC honcho Robert Kagan fed the fire that led to the fascist and neo-Nazi assisted coup d'etat against the democratically elected leader in Kiev - whether it was in passing out cookies to the useful idiots whose Euromaiden protests were hijacked by the hard-core US backed thugs or boasting of the billions of us tax dollars spent on destabilizing the country for corporate invasion Nuland bears a full share of the responsibility for the deaths of all of those hapless victims who died on Malaysian Airlines MH17 last week. Without hers and the State Department's meddling there would have been no war zone in the east.

I have yet to see any comments from the puffy Nuland now that her chosen man to run the feeding of Ukraine into the jaws of brutal austerity, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk or “Yats” as she affectionately referred to him has abruptly resigned. The former central banker is the first rat running for the lifeboat from Nuland’s rapidly sinking ship of fools or perhaps he knows something about who really downed flight MH17 and plans to be safely out of the country and living in luxury when the shit hits the fan for good. He was smart enough to be chosen by the western gangsters to manage their looting spree and he sure as hell is too smart to end up swinging from the end of a rope for crimes against humanity when the Kiev junta is inevitably toppled by the people of Ukraine get the picture that they were played for chumps just like Americans were by Obama.

The State Department continues to agitate and put out waves of anti-Putin propaganda despite official intelligence reports that Russia had zilch to do with the downing of the doomed jetliner. State representatives just keep pushing the lies, recycling the propaganda and throwing as much shit against the wall as possible in the hope that some of it sticks in their trumped up case against Putin. The latest abomination being some dimwitted bitch named Marie Harf who is trotted out to make the case for the "secret information" that the US will not divulge about the missile attack. Harf is  a real piece of work who obviously spends a lot of time trying to be Hillary Clinton in an eerie sort of way that reminds one of the movie about the obsessive psychopath in the movie Single White Female. Harf and Foggy Bottom is now pushing the horseshit about satellite photographs of a Russian training base on Ukraine's border (remember the satellite imagery of Saddam's mobile chemical weapons labs?) and artillery fire from Russia. With people like Nuland and Harf and their boss, the Sunday morning whirling dervish of bullshit Kerry running the show while Barry hits the putting green it is getting pretty obvious that this is not destined for a happy ending.

When I first heard the news about the latest Malaysian Air jetliner disaster early this afternoon my first thought was something like "why in the hell was it flying over a war zone?" but rapidly following that was the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that the Obama regime had finally succeeded in finding a way to launch World War III by blaming it all on Putin. Did it only seem like the rush to judgment had already begun within the US government, the enclave of thugs and neo-Nazis in the Kiev junta and the corrupt state-corporate media even before the the smoking ruins of the Kuala Lumpur bound Boeing 777 had hit the ground in eastern Ukraine? For nearly six months now the Obama regime and the warmongers at the neocon infested State Department have been desperately searching for that one key piece of evidence that they could use to unite world opinion against Russia and the hated leader Vladimir Putin in order to allow the US-EU-NATO Axis of Aggression to really unleash the dogs in a storm the beaches move to bring about regime change in Moscow. Now they finally have it and the facts are being fixed around the policy to set into motion the series of first strike moves that will likely in the end lead to a global cataclysm of which has never occurred in human history.

The murderous illegally occupying government of Ukraine, led by the fanatical Petro "Porky" Poroshenko aka the Chocolate King was immediately blaming Russia for the shooting down of the airliner and the 295 deaths, almost as if they already had the cover story ready to roll and it certainly behooves them in that the "anti-terrorist" offensive (aka ethnic cleansing spree) against anti-austerity, anti-fascist federalists was not going as planned. Today's tragedy is certainly a boon to the junta regime and it's western backers who despite the simple fact that Russia would have absolutely nothing to gain from shooting down the plane and everything to lose. The news of the disaster continues to develop rapidly and as could be expected the Obama regime is already shaping the narrative with the typical unnamed US intelligence sources as well as Vice President Joe Biden himself are already calling it a missile strike. By tomorrow there will be a rock solid wall of lockstep propaganda rolled out to support this and the 23 Americans onboard will be the ones to be avenged as our latest group of martyred "heroes".

This could be the day when the shit finally hits the fan and there is a very real possibility that none of our lives will ever be the same again and only a week and a half from the 100th anniversary of World War I - the disastrous US intervention that set off the chain of events that has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions and we to this day are still choking on the blood. There are really only a few possibilities regarding MH-17:

1: Gross negligence and incompetence on behalf of Malaysian Airlines, scant months after the eerie disappearance of Flight 370 likely the result of a mechanical failure (shoddy maintenance) in sending this passenger jets flight-path directly over a fucking war zone after multiple planes had already been shot down in the ongoing undeclared civil war in Ukraine.

2: The type of heinous and history altering incident that comes from hot tempers and itchy trigger fingers. I have just been waiting for some hothead in either NATO or the Kiev occupying government to overreact although I really suspected that it would be a small tactical nuke that would would be loosed.

3: Anti-austerity, anti-fascist federalist rebels in the east mistakenly shot the plane down believing that it was from Kiev ferrying in reinforcements for ethnic cleansing operations. Probably unlikely because MH-17 was flying too high to be within range of their weaponry and the downing by a Russian air-defense battery jsut isn't credible because with the USA!, USA!, USA! just itching for an opportunity to justify escalation these systems and their operators would be especially careful.

4: A false flag event designed to provide the rationale for whipping the American public into a blood-thirsty frenzy (it doesn't take much anymore) in order to muster backing for a desperate suicide mission by a rapidly deteriorating empire against the recalcitrant Putin. This is not the stuff of so-called "conspiracy theories" as history is replete with exactly this type of thing: Gulf of Tonkin, USS Maine, the Lusitania and to many who dare to question the 21st century quest for global hegemony: 9/11.

It is impossible to see how this is not going to be used by Obama to avenge the slights inflicted upon his fragile and arrogant psyche by Putin over Edward Snowden and later Syria and this being an election year you can rest assured that every cowardly Democrat will be backing his donning of the mantle of "war president" lest they be called out as chicken by the always ready to go to war Republicans.

This can only end badly for Americans outside of the entitled and arrogant elite and it will do exactly that.

Wag The Finger: John Kerry's Increasing Instability

It is by now obvious that the US created Ukraine crisis is not headed towards a happy ending and the Obama regime now is going to engage in the act of war of slapping even more onerous economic sanctions on Russia. When historians look back on all of this - which may well be the beginning of the end of the haughty, hubris crazed American Empire if not the end of human life - it the incredibly irresponsible three headed monster of Obama-Biden-Kerry and their legions of neocon and liberal interventionist winged monkeys to blame for it all. They are just going to continue to push and every day of bullying brings an increased possibility that someone goes off the reservation and unleashes the nukes in a fit of pique. These are very perilous times and despite being given ample opportunity to back it down Barry and the boys are prepared to take it to the palace, or in this case the Kremlin in what obviously is a personal vendetta against their personification of the devil himself Vladimir Putin. Pity that our elitist rulers are unable to set aside their petty little egos in the interest of greater things - such as not instigating a global thermonuclear war.

In many ways it is an existential crisis for the criminal class enriched by western finance capitalism which long ago destroyed free enterprise and turned into a global syndicate of gangsters who would never, ever be satisfied in their relentless quest to own it all. With the entire world nearly colonized even while the crooked and cooked financial system is rapidly disintegrating all that it takes is a guy like Putin to take a stand and tell the globalists to go and fuck themselves. The ultimate nightmare for the high finance mafia and the rapacious corporate parasites of the US and EU and the bloated military parasite NATO would be for Putin to be allowed to get off the hook and set an example for other countries not exactly enamored with the American Imperial way of doing business. Say China, India and Iran similarly decide to tell Uncle Sam to cram the thievery, repression and austerity up his star spangled asshole. It could trigger the big flush of the toilet that while bringing a wave of economic misery - and possibly revolt here in The Homeland as it takes the proverbial wheelbarrow full of Reichmarks to buy a bag of fucking Doritos - could finally cleanse the system and hit the reset that the banksters lobbied so hard to avoid back during the 2008 implosion. This would truly be a good thing despite the obvious downside mobs in the streets once the ATM's stop functioning and the grocery store shelves run bare and the wave of violence that would accompany it but let's think long term here. Such a flushing of the Wall Street global finance racket toilet would certainly not be good for the high-rolling one percent, their whores in Washington and the media though, many could find themselves either swinging from the end of a rope or marched up the steps to the guillotine by the rabble. John Forbes Kerry can go to the front of the line too.

While Biden be the dumbest bastard to serve as VP since Dan Quayle he pales in comparison to Secretary of Skull and Bones Kerry who in the aftermath of his latest foreign policy disaster - the Israel-Palestine peace talks going up in flames continues his trademark finger wagging and bloviating about sanctions on Russia. The latest Kerry threat being that of an "expensive mistake"  or actually a "grave and expensive mistake" - just like the engineers of US foreign policy and their ongoing series of unnecessary (unless you are politically connected and profit from the death and destruction) goddamned wars. Kerry is increasingly unhinged as of late and has been reduced to a cartoon figure, were it not for the largest military and surveillance machine in the history of the universe he would be both shunned and mocked for he has zero credibility that isn't backed by armed predator drones, bombers, missiles and assassination squads, both JSOC and hired mercenaries. The man is a joke and brings to mind the late, great H.L. Mencken's scathing portrayal of William Jennings Bryan:  "...at his best, was simply a magnificent job-seeker. The issues that he bawled about usually meant nothing to him. He was ready to abandon them whenever he could make votes by doing so, and to take up new ones at a moment's notice". The very idea that Kerry was so close to becoming the President of the United States in 2004 makes one's opinion of the moronic George W. Bush that much higher.

Then there is Obama, who is nothing more than a foot stool for corporations and Wall Street is doing likewise in pushing the EU to support upping the financial punishment against Russia - at some point, if not already this is an act of war and Putin is to be commended for his restraint . These blindly rich pig fuckers just don't get it, they like the rest of the American looter capitalist class think that everything can be reduced to money and that in declaring economic warfare against a nuclear power, especially Russia with it's nationalist history, resentment over being screwed over the terms of the breakup of the USSR after the Cold War by double dealing American political swine who then expanded NATO and began surrounding Russia with missiles and the fact that the US establishment started this mess in the first place. The hysterics over the 40,000 Russian troops on the border of Ukraine is nonsense because the forces are IN RUSSIA although thanks to the Obama administration and the imminent coming rampage of US backed extremist death squads Russia has ordered the commencement of military exercises. With Obama's dispatching of hundreds of special forces troops to Poland this thing just continues to verge on spinning completely out of control.

Despite More Lies Being Exposed the Obama Provocations Continue

The infamous aluminum tubes that were a vital piece of the tapestry of lies making the case that Saddam Hussein was pursuing nuclear weapons was a critical component in selling the American sheeple on the Shock and Awe attack on Iraq. The story was given added heft in that it was published in the exalted New York Times and was used by the Bush-Cheney regime despite the fact that the story was a lie - not revealed until after it had served the purpose. It was a neocon plant in the nation’s newspaper of record although that led to the attack and invasion of a country that did not even remotely threaten Americans.  The writers responsible for that aluminum tube story were the now  disgraced Judith Miller - who was later embroiled in the intentional outing of CIA officer Valerie Plame that ultimately resulted in the takedown of Dick Cheney’s hatchet man Scooter Libby as well as another reporter named Michael Gordon.  Mr. Gordon is back as an embedded stenographer for the warmongers and his recent piece (where he shares the byline with two others) in the New York Times, featuring pictures that proved that Russian provocateurs were indeed instigating the anti-austerity rebellion in Eastern Ukraine was picked up as a critical piece of the Obama regime's bizarre and furious push towards a war with Russia.  The problem is (and of course there are many in the saturation bombing of propaganda in the US state-corporate media) that the pictures are bogus and the story has been quietly retracted just days after it was published.

Not that the retraction - buried inside the paper - matters, the damage has been done and the public, conditioned to get their McNews in bit sized bits and pieces, being the headline readers that they are won't notice that it was all more Kiev crap. Gordon and the White House made a big deal out of the legitimacy of the photos, as per the original piece "Photos Link Masked Men in East Ukraine to Russia" I excerpt:

For two weeks, the mysteriously well-armed, professional gunmen known as “green men” have seized Ukrainian government sites in town after town, igniting a brush fire of separatist unrest across eastern Ukraine. Strenuous denials from the Kremlin have closely followed each accusation by Ukrainian officials that the world was witnessing a stealthy invasion by Russian forces.

Now, photographs and descriptions from eastern Ukraine endorsed by the Obama administration on Sunday suggest that many of the green men are indeed Russian military and intelligence forces — equipped in the same fashion as Russian special operations troops involved in annexing the Crimea region in February. Some of the men photographed in Ukraine have been identified in other photos clearly taken among Russian troops in other settings.

That the pics provided by the coup regime and "endorsed by the Obama administration" being exposed as lies is not in any way stopping the ongoing push towards confrontation with Russia and the detested Putin whose humiliation of Obama with saving NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden from a US torture gulag and preventing a war on Syria based on more lies. Preceding the Michael Gordon presstitution was of course that discredited hoax about masked men handing out leaflets in Donestk demanding that Jews register with the authorities. The word that this was a crock of shit (interestingly coming right after CIA director John Brennan visited Kiev) either did not reach Obama officials or they are in on the con because they are still using it. The anti-Semitism card is a very powerful tool, this is especially so in The Homeland where those with agendas that serve Zionist expansionism and the Israeli right-wing regime of Benjamin Netanyahu play it often to discourage honest reportage on the Israel-Palestinian crisis. That is another story for another time though. The point is that the leaflets are still being used by those in the US power structure to further demonize Russia.

Joe Biden, possibly the dumbest motherfucker to occupy the office of Vice President - at since Dan Quayle - just completed his virtuoso whirlwind tour of bullshit visiting the coup government in Kiev invoked the anti-Semite talisman once more. In a piece published by The Times of Israel entitled "Biden in Kiev: ‘No place’ for anti-Semitism in Ukraine" I excerpt the following:

Addressing a reported uptick in anti-Jewish actions in Ukraine, including a flyer distributed in the eastern city of Donetsk calling on Jews to register with pro-Russian authorities, Biden said the US condemned any threat or attack on the Jewish community in Ukraine.

 “Just as corruption can have no place in the new Ukraine, neither can anti-Semitism or bigotry,” said Biden, standing alongside acting Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. “Let me say that again, neither can anti-Semitism or bigotry. No place. None. Zero. The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms all threats and attacks against Ukrainian Jewish communities as well as Roma and others, as you do, as well, I know, Mr. Prime Minister.”

 In his remarks, Yatsenyuk did not address anti-Semitism or attacks on Jewish institutions, making do with a broader reference to meeting “the highest standards of protecting human rights and the rights of citizens.”

Biden also warned Russia on Tuesday that “it’s time to stop talking and start acting” to reduce tension in its neighbor to the southwest, offering a show of support for the besieged nation as an international agreement aimed at stemming its ongoing crisis appeared in doubt.

That this asinine man can dare to stand right next to the US puppet "Yats" and get on his high horse over some black propaganda anti-Semitic leaflets ignoring the fact that "Yats" occupation was accomplished largely with the help of neo-Nazis and fascist extremists from Svoboda and Right Sector who are really Jew haters is  jaw-dropping. That this massive scandal in the use of American taxpayer money to finance neo-Nazis even more so. Those US backed anti-Semites in the Ukrainian government are never mentioned by any of the corrupt swine in the American media, particularly David Gregory or Michael Gordon and certainly not by Biden nor the buffoon that is Secretary of State John Kerry. It doesn't fit the Putin as Hitler narrative.

Obama meanwhile continues to arrogantly instigate global powers, the latest being China when during this “Pacific pivot” trip to Japan where he once again came dangerously close to drawubg one of his idiotic and troublesome "red lines" by taking Japan's side in a long running and contentious dispute with China over the Senkaku Islands. Per a story in The Guardian:

The US is duty-bound to come to Japan’s aid in the event of a conflict with China over a group of disputed islands in the East China Sea, Barack Obama declared at the start of a tour of Asia aimed at reassuring Washington’s allies in the face of threats to stability from North Korea and an increasingly assertive China.

Obama went further than some analysts had expected in reassuring the Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, that Japan’s dispute with China over the Senkakus – known in China as the Diaoyu – were covered by the allies’ post-war security treaty.

But he reiterated Washington’s refusal to take sides in the sovereignty dispute and called on China and Japan to resolve their differences through dialogue.

“Our commitment to Japan’s security is absolute and article five [of the security treaty] covers all territories under Japan’s administration, including the Senkaku islands,” Obama said during a joint press conference with Abe.

While hedging somewhat in calling for a peaceful resolution of the conflict it is beginning to look as though the US is now rebuilding the WW II Axis with the inclusion of The Homeland and NATO in a 21st century push for the same global domination of the infamous man with the mustache.  History has shown how that turned out but in America there is neither the widespread knowledge of such nor the ability to learn from it.

Barack Obama is going to Europe and America is going to Hell. Still smarting over the audacity of the newest devil of The Homeland Russian leader Vladimir Putin's pretty much telling Barry and the boys to go and fuck themselves and annexing Crimea despite the empty threats and howls of protestation from the political class El Presidente is soon to be on his way across the pond to meet with the heads of US client states over the next move. You have to give it to the man, he never gives up and never learns from his mistakes, January 2017 cannot possibly get here soon enough provided that Obama and his moronic foreign policy team don't get all of us nuked in the interim. I used to think that George W. Bush was a slimy, narcissistic bastard but he has nothing on Obama, at least Bush got a clue in his second term and somewhat distanced himself from the ruinous neocon pack of jackals and their plots for global dominance and after all he did send me $600 which I promptly spent unlike the long-legged lame duck who has spent the past five years stealing money from the taxpayers to subsidize the reckless gambling of his cronies on Wall Street.

The egotistical one is infuriated over Putin's incredible failure to understand where exactly his place is - a footstool to the global finance mafia with thousands of NATO missiles surrounding him - in the new world order of the coming fascist corporate dictatorship. The twin humiliations of Putin's saving of former government contractor turned NSA whistleblower from America's black site torture prisons followed up by his sweeping in to save the day after Obama and Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry had nearly succeeded in selling yet another illegal war in Syria stuck in dear leader's overly sensitive craw. The Russian backlash against the western backed and instigated overthrow of the democratically elected leader of Ukraine, with the assistance of mobs of neo-Nazis and other vicious thugs despite the big bad wolf's huffing and puffing in refusing to go along with the neocon putsch in Kiev was just too much to take. Whatever Obama may have been or could have been (I would suggest the following: an egomaniac ass, an unqualified dupe, a stooge of the oligarchy, an pompous teleprompter reading wonder who somehow managed to hit the political jackpot and an clear chronic fuck up) he has now become the tool of the now resurgent neocon dreams of global conquest. Hitler had nothing on those guys - he didn't have nukes or television.

With Obama now fully out of control in a desperate attempt to remain relevant after having been force fed a borscht and shit sandwich with a vodka chaser by Putin has gone mad having had drunk from the poisonous chalice of the neocons. It is at first inconceivable that so many who had been wrong about so much could still hold as much sway over the ultimate destiny of the United States and by extension the world - particularly those on the ample target list but they never really went away. Robert Parry who runs the great website Consortium News has been on the job while the rest of the pathetic excuse for a domestic media has been speculating about a missing jetliner, feasting like vultures on the flesh of the latest celebrity turned murderer Oscar Pistorius and reciting the daily anti-Putin talking points. Parry's recent piece "Neocons Have Weathered the Storm" is a must read from which I excerpt:

In Election 2006, GOP congressional candidates took a pounding because Bush and the Republicans were most associated with the neocons. In Election 2008, Sen. Hillary Clinton, a neocon-lite who had voted for the Iraq War, lost the Democratic presidential nomination to Sen. Barack Obama, who had opposed invading Iraq. Then, in the general election, Obama defeated neocon standard-bearer John McCain to win the White House.

At that moment, it looked like the neocons were in serious trouble. Indeed, many of them did have to pack up their personal belongings and depart government, seeking new jobs at think tanks or other neocon-friendly non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

More significantly, their grand strategy seemed discredited. Many Americans considered the neocons’ dream of more “regime change” across the Middle East — in countries opposed to Israel, especially Syria and Iran – to be an unending nightmare of death and destruction.

After taking office, President Obama called for winding down Bush’s wars and doing some “nation-building at home.” The broad American public seemed to agree. Even some right-wing Republicans were having second thoughts about the neocons’ advocacy of an American Empire, recognizing its devastating impact on the American Republic.

The Comeback

But the neocons were anything but finished. They had positioned themselves wisely.

They still controlled government-funded operations like the National Endowment for Democracy (NED); they held prominent positions inside think tanks, from the American Enterprise Institute to the Council on Foreign Relations to the Brookings Institution; they had powerful allies in Congress, such as Senators McCain, Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman; and they dominated TV chat shows and opinion pages, particularly at the Washington Post, the capital’s hometown newspaper.

 Since the late 1970s and early 1980s when they first emerged as a noticeable force in Washington, the neocons had become “insiders.” They were both admired and feared for their intellectual ferocity, but — most important for their long-term survival – they had secured access to government money, including the slush fund at NED whose budget grew to over $100 million during the Bush-43 years.

NED, which was founded in 1983, is best known for investing in other countries’ “democracy building” (or CIA-style “destabilization” campaigns, depending on your point of view), but much of NED’s money actually goes to NGOs in Washington, meaning that it became a lifeline for neocon operatives who found themselves out of work because of the arrival of Obama.

While ideological advocates for other failed movements might have had to move back home or take up new professions, the neocons had their financial ballast (from NED and many other sources) so their ideological ship could ride out the rough weather.

And, despite Obama’s opposition to the neocons’ obsession with endless warfare, he didn’t purge them from his administration. Neocons, who had burrowed deep inside the U.S. government as “civil servants” or “career foreign service officers,” remained as a “stay-behind” force, looking for new allies and biding their time.

Now unfortunately, the rest as the saying goes is history and so are we unless the current power play is somehow repelled, I have to admit that things are not looking good now that Obama has gone totally rogue and the human gaffe machine Joe Biden is sliming around over in Europe talking shit about US military exercises in a region that thanks to neocon meddling and Obama administration incompetence is already a pile of gasoline soaked tinder just waiting for some idiot to throw in a match.

While I am used to being in the minority of my fellow Americans on many things, first and foremost being that I am an atheist (actually agnostic but people are too damned dumb to understand such a thing) with left libertarian views and an aversion to foreign wars and nation building so it is no big deal to me that I am rootin’ for Putin. With the absorption of Crimea into the Russian Federation and a wonderfully blistering denouncement of US and western hypocrisy the Russian President has finally stood up to the big, bad bully and delivered a long-deserved punch in the nose. The United States or more appropriately The Homeland is nothing but a desiccated husk of what it once was, the country that my own grandfather and his fellow citizens took fire and in many cases died for in World War II no longer exists. The end of that war - the “good war” in the parlance of the profiteering blood barters and paper changers who need the mythology to continue to cash in – allowed a parasitic elite and the political class which it serves to effectively overthrow the American system. The United States of America may still exist but all of that flag-draped righteous persona is nothing but an exo-skeleton, having long been usurped by the Deep State which is the greatest menace to the planet in world history.

I am ashamed to be an American and I am goddamned proud of it too.

I cheer against the Americans at the Olympics, refuse to acknowledge the Star-Spangled banner jingoism at sporting events and consider the Pledge of Allegiance to be the worst type of indoctrination, far surpassing that of the demonized Commies that the neocons and their allies in the so-called tea party confederacy of dunces so decry. There will always be plenty of fools willing to blindly salute whatever horseshit that this rotten to the core and now fully bought and sold government runs up the flag pole. After Instigating Coup U.S. Needs to Stay the Hell Out of Ukraine

The U.S. warmongers are still drunk off of the magic elixir of their joyous weekend coup d'etat of the democratically elected government of Ukraine and the accompanying delight of sticking it to the hated Vladimir Putin during his international Olympic showcase at Sochi. The bloodlust of vampires like the deranged Senator John McCain and his ilk albeit temporarily slaked by a week of mayhem in the streets of Kiev will be back soon as there will be the imminent demands that the Obama administration engage in backing a rogue occupying force that is ready to engage in some serious pogroms against their hated enemies. While the corrupt media was exulting in such raw propagandizing as the replacement of a statue of Vladimir Lenin with a golden toilet - reminiscent of the military psyops exercise of hauling down the statue of Saddam Hussein during the early days of the Iraq 'Shock and Awe" invasion. There was also a bit of a lurid tale making the rounds about a golden toilet that looked like a throne in the palace of ousted president Viktor Yanukovich but that was exposed early on as a hoax before it ended up on Rachel Maddow and Bill O'Reilly's shows on Monday night cable television's electronic cesspool.

That the at least temporarily in power western backed group that is in the orbit of the sleazy Yulia Tymoshenko, a woman who is the celebrated head of the media cult of personality and who has her own history of corruption relied on vicious goons including neo-Nazis to oust Yanukovich is lost on the cheerleaders masturbating over the latest episode of the "two-minutes hate".  Hell, it was only a few short months ago when President Barack Obama and Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry were ready to scramble the bombers to attack Damascus targets in a war against the regime of Bashar al-Assad that they and the war pigs who run the establishment were throwing in with fiendish Islamist militants affiliated with al Qaeda and a taste for human flesh. Despite the best efforts of the American war machine and the chronic meddling of one Saudi prince who goes by the nickname of "Bandar Bush" we managed to avoid getting dragged into that morass thanks to none other than Putin himself who pounced on a typical  Kerry diarrhea of the mouth moment to ride to the rescue and spare us all another disastrous Middle East war. The reigning war freaks within the Washington 'consensus' of the elite have been itching to feed Putin to the pigs ever since and inciting a civil war on Russia's borders does exactly that - at least in their eyes.

Today, after managing to get through the closing ceremonies at Sochi without going ballistic over blatant meddling in Ukraine by Washington and Europe Putin let it rip correctly denouncing the west for backing "terrorists" and "extremists" to oust a democratically elected leader - he didn't mention the Nazis though but the images from Kiev and the manhunt for the on the run Yanukovich speak for themselves. The U.S. is once again exposed as nothing more than a criminal state which it has been since the end of WW II when the hellspawn that is the CIA was created and one of the first things that Allen Dulles and his fellow treacherous scum did was enter into a pact with Nazi war criminals including General Reinhard Gehlen to form an alliance against the Soviets. This shit is getting old and the Cold War should be in the past and the current flock of red-baiters including McCain and the rest of the Neocons have been so discredited that in a sane country they would have long ago been exiled from any sort of legitimacy. But as with the Arizona legislature and their attempt to turn gays into the new 'niggers' (or Juden) under their white supremacist Jim Crow II jihad against decent civilization it is apparent that we are never going to get past any of this and will remain necklaced by the heinous prejudices of that much hyped but truly mediocre "greatest generation". Sure they are dying out but their policies are resurgent and in continuing to push for the destabilization with Russia they may yet incinerate the rest of us.

The coming weeks will see more saber-rattling, neocon lies on what should be publicly owned media airwaves but have been hijacked by the fascist fifth column and will surely embolden those like McCain to continue to instigate and raise funds for the same type of murdering psychopaths that are typically supported by the empire. Note the Latin American death squads of the hallowed Ronald Reagan. There are however voices of sanity although they will continue to be mocked and marginalized by the venal, ass-kissing careerists in the so-called mainstream media. The libertarian icon Ron Paul has already spoken out against U.S. intervention in a ginned up civil war:

The usual interventionists in the US have long meddled in the internal affairs of Ukraine. In 2004 it was US government money that helped finance the Orange Revolution, as US-funded NGOs favoring one political group over the other were able to change the regime. These same people have not given up on Ukraine. They keep pushing their own agenda for Ukraine behind the scenes, even as they ridicule anyone who claims US involvement.

A recent leaked telephone conversation between two senior government officials made it clear that not only was the US involved in the Ukrainian unrest, the US was actually seeking to determine who should make up the next Ukrainian government!

Senator John McCain, who has made several trips to Ukraine recently to meet with the opposition, wrote last week that the US must stand up to support the territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.

Why are US government officials so eager to tell the Ukrainians what they should do? Has anyone bothered to ask the Ukrainians? What if might help alleviate the ongoing violence and bloodshed if the Ukrainians decide to remake the country as a looser confederation of regions rather than one tightly controlled by a central government? Perhaps Ukraine engaged in peaceful trade with countries both to the west and east would benefit all sides. But outside powers seem to be fighting a proxy war, with Ukraine suffering the most because of it.

If you asked most Americans how they feel, my bet is that you would discover they are sick and tired of the US government getting involved in every crisis that arises. Certainly the American people want none of of this intervention in Ukraine. They understand, as recent polls have shown, that our interventionist foreign policy is only creating more enemies overseas. And they also understand that we are out of money. We could not afford to be the policemen of world even if we wanted to be.

While widely ridiculed by the presstitutes former Congressman Paul has been nothing if not consistent against the cancer that is the American warfare state. It took a lot of balls to oppose wars and interventionism when Paul did, back in the days when the alternative internet media was  in its infancy and the PNAC dominated Bushreich was embarked on a world domination tour abroad and a relentless attack on civil liberties in The Homeland. Paul rose to the occasion repeatedly, never more so when he took over the stage at the ridiculous Republican presidential 'debate' back in 2007 to assign a reading list to at the time front-runner Rudy "Mr. 9/11" Giuliani. The blowhard former Big Apple mayor never recovered and has become a punchline today.

It is up to those whose bullshit detectors are always on high, fully understand that the domestic media does nothing but distort, obscure and spin that which is true in order to push the big business of war and military expenditures and wrap it all up in the star-spangled Hitlerian 'Big Lie' of spreading "democracy" to take a stand against this latest and very dangerous provocation of Russia. 

You won't find the truth on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, MSNBC, CNN or any of the other propaganda arms of a criminal empire but you will find it here and in the alternative media. There is a reason why the state wants to use their vast unconstitutional spying apparatus,  their rigged courts and their bought and paid for Congress to destroy freedom of speech on the internet and that the legitimacy of their coup in Ukraine has already been already come into question only makes them more intent at doing so.
