The Gangster Vengeance of Barack Obama

Despite the US state-corporate media blackout of the vicious retaliation by neo-Nazi and fascist led militias unleashed in Ukraine reports, videos and pictures are slipping out within the alternative media and Americans are backing a campaign of slaughter that will escalate into ethnic cleansing. With the failure to bother to condemn or to otherwise pick up the phone and call for an end to the violence  US President Barack Hussein Obama has proved once and for all that he is one cold son of a bitch and in the aftermath of the intentionally set fire at the trade union building in Odessa he has made the leap from a thin-skinned narcissist displaying flagrant indifference into outright psychopathy. Mr. Obama is now a full-fledged member of the war criminals club and a dangerous global gangster with enough time left on the clock to give the great murderers a run for their money. 

Having made no secret of his admiration of Ronald Reagan nor his childish grudge towards Russian leader Vladimir Putin – something that is beneath the dignity of office – Obama now seems to have adopted one of Reagan’s practices in using savage death squads to carry out search and destroy missions against political dissidents. Reagan once lovingly compared the right-wing death squads that were sponsored by his administration as “freedom fighters” who were "the moral equivalent of our Founding Fathers" despite their proclivity for torture, rape and murder to make the world safe for ‘democracy’.  Post World War II history is also replete with other US backed slaughters such as the infamous Phoenix Program during the Vietnam and the ongoing midnight raids in Afghanistan. That shining city on the hill loses much of its luster when one realizes that the real business of those who run this country is murder in the name of land grabs, resource control and suppression of real democracy. The history is long and sordid and the events in Odessa on May 2, 2014 should forever live in infamy when it comes to the criminality of those in high places.

One of the more gruesome chronicles of what occurred in Odessa is an article at progressive website OpEd News by George Eliason entitled “Odessa-- the First Pogrom-- The Obama Genocide” and I very strongly recommend it although be forewarned that the imagery presented is not for those with a weak stomach for it contains pictures of atrocities within the building. While any accounts of the abominable conduct of the coup government thugs and their rampage has to this point not been substantiated by ‘official’ media sources the very fact that they have done nothing but lie about everything in Ukraine (with the exception that it is next to Russia) does not discount Mr. Eliason’s work from which I excerpt:

Before people were herded into the Trade Union House, Pravy Sektor was already setting up in the building for what can only be described as a crime against humanity.

People were tortured. Women were raped. People were hacked with axes all the while Pravy Sektor under the group Stop Horowitz blocked the exits. At least one small child perished. Some of the survivors were people on their way home from work that were just passing by.

In the aftermath the Kiev government immediately blamed Russia, claiming agents from Russia and Transnisstria were there. They also claimed in the media that their was fighting going on between pro and ant maidan groups. The survivors of the attack are being charged with separatism, which can carry a life sentence.

AND

In the aftermath so far 126 bodies were found in the basement of the Customs House that did not suffer from the fire. Outside the building another 200 Odessa residents remain missing.

Last night the Police Chief of Odessa deputized over 1800 Pravy Sektor members to find and root out "Separatists." Pravy Sektor is rampaging through Odessa and it is mass slaughter ahead for the large Jewish population here because they speak Russian.

Maxim Sokalov summed it up well in his article today "When the Ghetto Burned"- Odessa pogrom of May 2, 2014 will be one of the blackest pages in Europe (so far rushes new Ukraine) because when supporters set fire to the building of national unity with the people within it and finish off trying to escape from the fire - 1945 Europe did not know this.

As I write this Ukrainian National Guard forces are massacring the population of the village of Semenvika which is on the outskirts of Slovyansk. The junta forces set up concentric rings leading out from the village and at the same time went through the village with heavy machine guns, tanks, and grenade launchers indiscriminately killing residents that are unarmed. Slovyansk forces are taking heavy losses trying to get to the village and protect it.

In Mauriopal Pravy Sektor retook City Hall temporarily by using gas. Fortunately it had an odor. People are in the hospital but all escaped. Residents of Mauriopal retook the building.

I went into town today. I had to go through a few citizens road blocks manned by people that could be from your own neighborhood.

People were on edge but it was quiet. Ten minutes after we left someone on the bus got a call, Pravy Sektor arrived by carloads. Fifteen minutes later in a bus filled mainly with retirees, an attack helicopter ran parallel to us low to the ground until we turned off the road. As the bus entered our town a call came from the mayor, Pravy Sektor was in town demanding peoples passports and tearing them up. Its an easy way to make a Moskal; no identification, no problem.

As I finish this we are waiting for them to show up.

I am mindful of the fact that there is now bounties on the heads of journalists that write about the junta. Phone data is being mined and people are complaining conversations are cut off as soon as politics are mentioned. Two days ago I was scheduled to do an interview by Skype. Five minutes beforehand the internet connection was lost. We hobbled through over the phone. The subject was kept to the days events. After the interview was complete the internet connection returned. It does make you wonder.

There is still time to stop this. Petitions like this one to the European Court on Human Rights is a way people across the world are trying to accomplish this.

The pictures and videos are gut-wrenching and one would imagine that they would be available to those who make the decisions – that Obama has not denounced the killing spree in East Ukraine is damning of not only he but of the American people who allow such atrocities to be carried out in their names and being ignorant is not an excuse because the information is out there. 

The only official media outlet that accounts for any of this is in The Independent from the UK which states:

The dead are still being counted from Odessa’s terrible fire: it was 31 at first, then went up to 48, while the number of injured has risen to 200. Some were burnt alive, some were asphyxiated, some jumped to their deaths.

 The inability of the authorities to say just how many perished, four days on, has prompted dark tales of bodies in the basement spirited away and buried by the authorities. They show, it is claimed, signs of torture; women victims have been raped. There is no evidence to support these claims, but they fester in this atmosphere of malignant hatred and suspicion which is so bitterly dividing Ukraine.

The lack of evidence to support the "claims" are the pictures in Eliason's essay.  

Obama is committed to this and the US-EU-NATO Axis of Aggression as well because the illegitimate government in Kiev with US backing and CIA and FBI advisory assistance is continuing their search and destroy activities and will likely continue to escalate them. 

Anti-Austerity Pushback Begins in Ukraine

The frantic Cold War obsessed, neocon infested US state-corporate media are blowing their mighty klaxons today as there is more festering unrest in Ukraine. Not that such a thing should be unexpected given the US-EU-NATO Axis of Evil hostile, neo-Nazi backed takeover that ousted the democratically elected president Viktor Yanukovych only to replace him with a western puppet charged with looting the country. With the reported seizure of government buildings in the city of Donetsk and demands for secession from the illegally installed austerity government the western media is in the typical manner labeling the protesters as "pro-Russian" and "pro-Putin" rather than what they really are which is "anti-fascist" and "anti-austerity" which will further fan the flames of what may be - thanks to our failed political system in Der Heimat - an express train careening towards Armageddon.

What areat job by President Barack Obama in that his splendid little coup d'eat joint venture with the neocons whose insane, Hitlerian ideology of world domination has become fully cancerous and is metastasizing throughout every branch of the government is exceeding any reasonable expectations of disaster. What started as a contest in dick measuring in which El Presidente continued to come out on the losing end to the now fully vilified and demonized to elicit bloodlust from the masses of asses "Ras-Putin" the entire country of Ukraine is just about ready to erupt in a full blown civil war. The anti-austerity backlash by those who could truly be tabbed as "freedom fighters" and who will have to operate underground ala the resistance in Nazi occupied Europe during the "Good War" is the real thing when it comes to ousting a tyrannical and corrupt regime such as the one that the EU, US and NATO have installed in Kiev. The breadbasket of Europe is about to turn into abbatoir and the fault all lies within the bowels of the American Deep State and the even murkier shadow government as manifested within the Continuity of Government (COG) infrastructure has which never abandoned the use of Communism as some form of Manichean devil to serve as the justification for repression at home and militarism and subterfuge abroad.

The pencil necked technocratic geek Arseny “Yats” Yatseniuk - in between dishonest tirades about Russian invasions - seems to be scared shitless right about now and justifiably so. Before long the angry mobs in the streets will be outside his own window and looking to dangle his skinny little chicken-legged ass from the end of a rope for his selling out of his country to the global corporate parasites who are currently busy bemoaning the loss of billions of loot that could have been milked from Crimea had the people there not had the good sense to vote to rejoin Russia. Tuesday the crackdown against the freedom fighters began with the occupying government sending forth heavily armed paramilitary goon squad police to engage in an "anti-terrorist" action to oust protesters in Eastern Ukraine. It is the typical double-standard and hypocrisy of the US establishment and their European stooges to refer to what is a legitimate uprising against forced austerity and economic ruination and political persecution at the hands of their neo-Nazi backed usurpers in Kiev. Neither "Yats" or the loathsome and corrupt moral reprobate Interior Minister Arsen Avakov will bother with the inconvenient truth that the real "terrorists" were the ones in the streets of Kiev, throwing petrol bombs at police, engaging in organized thuggery and shooting innocent people - both protesters and police.

How this all plays out has yet to be seen but all indications from a Cold War fixated US establishment that is bereft of adult leadership as well as Obama's ongoing apparent insistence on making this a personal thing with Putin it's not looking good at all. Former Reagan administration Deputy Assistant Treasurer and prolific writer who has been writing on the ultimate decline of what used to be a free, mostly fair and decent society into the abyss Paul Craig Roberts nails it in his most recent column entitled "Obama Issues Threats To Russia And NATO" from which I excerpt:

It has dawned on the Russian government that being a part of the American dollar system means that Russia is open to being looted by Western banks and corporations or by individuals financed by them, that the ruble is vulnerable to being driven down by speculators in the foreign exchange market and by capital outflows, and that dependence on the American international payments system exposes Russia to arbitrary sanctions imposed by the “exceptional and indispensable country.”

Why it took the Russian government so long to realize that the dollar payments system puts countries under Washington’s thumb is puzzling. Perhaps the answer is the success of US Cold War propaganda. Cold war propaganda portrayed America as the shining light, the great observer of human rights, opponent of torture, upholder of liberty, defender of the downtrodden, lover of peace, and benefactor of the world. This image survived even as the US government prevented the rise of any representative governments in Latin America and while Washington has bombed half a dozen countries into rubble.

Russians emerging from communism naturally aligned with the propaganda image of “American freedom.” That the US and Europe were also corrupt and also had blood on their hands was overlooked. During the years of anti-Soviet propaganda, Washington was murdering European women and children and blaming communists. The truth came out when President of Italy Francesco Cossiga publicly revealed Operation Gladio, a false flag terrorist scheme run by the CIA and Italian Intelligence during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s that targeted European women and children with bombs in order to blame the communists and thereby prevent European communist parties from making electoral gains. This is one of the most well-known false flag events in history, having resulted in extraordinary confessions by Italian intelligence.

Now that the Russian government understands that Russia must depart the dollar system in order to protect Russian sovereignty, President Putin has entered into barter/ruble oil deals with China and Iran. However, Washington objects to Russia abandoning the dollar international payment system. Zero Hedge, a more reliable news source than the US print and TV media, reports that Washington has conveyed to both Russia and Iran that a non-dollar oil deal would trigger US sanctions.

The only recourse that the rest of the world has against the dangerous Leviathan in Washington and it's current Sun King ensconced within the control center of Mordor at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is to turn to economics, a game that the now thoroughly corrupt system of US looter capitalism - we cheat everyone, especially the TV mesmerized zombies on the star-spangled lemming farm - cannot win. So it is coming to a head. There has already been chatter that Russia will soon retaliate for those sanctions - the most effective to this point being a handful of McDonalds fast food restaurants abandoning Crimea - by effectively dumping the petrodollar in a trade deal with Iran. This would put the US political class and the neocons - permanently in bed with the government of the insane Israeli leader Bibi Netanyahu - in the optimal situation to engage in a climactic Godfather style wipeout of the enemies of the Corleone (or is it Lansky?) family that would instead be more like the last suicidal charge of a pack of over the hill outlaws at the end of The Wild Bunch as the Empire goes out on it's own terms.

Barring a move to impeach Obama immediately and get him the hell out of anywhere that his narcissistic streak that has driven him to pick a fight with a nuclear armed Russia where he has the ultimate trump card of the launch codes then we are truly living in a revisionist Cold War hell that is the modern incarnation of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Sashko Bily Murdered: Night of the Long Knives Begins in Ukraine

Oleksandr Muzychko aka Sashko Bily of the extremist Right Sector group that was instrumental in backing the US backed coup d’etat in Kiev was shot dead by police yesterday.  Has the Night of the Long Knives arrived? Has “Yats” been given the order to clean up his unelected regime to make the country safe for corporate plunder? There are conflicting stories about the killing of Muzychnko, one being that the brutal thug was gunned down while trying to escape what is officially described as a "special forces operation" that took place at a cafe in the city of Rivne in western Ukraine. The other story that is circulating is far more ominous and threatens to further expose that great outbreak of democracy that is peddled by the American state-corporate media, the neocons and the Obama administration is nothing more than a fraud of the highest order. According to an account from the BBC:

Earlier, a Ukrainian MP, Oles Doniy, gave a different version of events. He said two cars had forced Muzychko's car to stop, and he had then been dragged into one of the other cars. Later his body was found dumped, his hands tied behind his back and two bullet wounds in his heart, Doniy wrote overnight on his Facebook page.

Correspondents say Muzychko acquired notoriety in Ukraine after he was filmed brandishing an AK-47 assault rifle at a town hall session in western Ukraine, and then harassing a local prosecutor. After that, in February, the Ukrainian interior minister condemned his behaviour and promised to investigate.

That certainly doesn't jibe with that shining tale spun by professional liars about the glorious new era that has come to Ukraine and could be the first indication that the goons who backed the installation of the puppet of the global finance mafia, former central banker Arseniy Yatseniuk have outlived their usefulness.  Hell, it's not as though such a thing has no historical precedent.

In late June of 1934 with Adolf Hitler having completed his rise by being named Chancellor of Germany (Angela Merkel has the gig now) and consolidating his power the violent collection of crude and savage goons that were the Sturmabteilung (SA)- the historical counterparts to Right Sector and John McCain's Svoboda pals – had become a nuisance. The beatings, killings, public displays of menace, drunken debauchery and instability of the SA were not only an embarrassment but a potential threat to the Hitler regime. So Der Führer ordered the blood purge that is known as the Night of the Long Knives to eliminate any future challenge from the Nazi rabble so the leadership was wiped out. Not only was the SA taken out but the opportunity was used to settle other scores – excerpted from Wikipedia:

The regime did not limit itself to a purge of the SA, however. Having earlier imprisoned or exiled prominent Social Democrats and Communists, Hitler used the occasion to move against conservatives he considered unreliable. This included Vice-Chancellor Papen and those in his immediate circle. In Berlin, on Göring's personal orders, an armed SS unit stormed the Vice-Chancellery. Gestapo officers attached to the SS unit shot Papen's secretary Herbert von Bose without bothering to arrest him first. The Gestapo arrested and later executed Papen's close associate Edgar Jung, the author of Papen's Marburg speech; they disposed of his body by dumping it in a ditch. The Gestapo also murdered Erich Klausener, the leader of Catholic Action, and a close Papen associate. Hitler, Göring, and Himmler unleashed the Gestapo against old enemies, as well. Both Kurt von Schleicher, Hitler's predecessor as chancellor, and his wife were murdered at their home. Others killed included Gregor Strasser, a former Nazi who had angered Hitler by resigning from the party in 1932, and Gustav Ritter von Kahr, the former Bavarian state commissioner who crushed the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923.[42] Kahr's fate was especially gruesome. His body was found in a wood outside Munich; he had been hacked to death, apparently with pickaxes. The murdered included at least one accidental victim: Willi Schmid, the music critic of the Münchner Neuste Nachrichten, a Munich newspaper. The Gestapo mistook him for Ludwig Schmitt, a past supporter of Otto Strasser, the brother of Gregor.  Such unrestrained violence added to the fearsome reputation of the Gestapo, the Nazis' secret police.

The assassination of Sashko Bily could be the beginning of a modern version of that purge, the bought and paid for media can’t possibly keep the lid on the presence of so many fascists and neo-Nazis in the coup installed government in Kiev forever. The recent beating of Ukranian state television executive Oleksandr Panteleymonov by Svoboda party ruffians and the resulting viral video caused no small amount of embarrassment to the US and the Yatsenyuk government. That act of brutality actually had to be acknowledged and was condemned by US sources who were "deeply offended”.  If the goon squads continue to be caught perpetrating such violent acts it is time to clean them up because the corporate benefactors of carving up the Ukraine bounty have enough problems by taking possession of their new prize sans Crimea already.

But even the best laid plans do go awry and fate of Shashko Bily has members of Red Sector vowing reprisals in would could easily turn into a bloodbath of neo-Nazi vs. neo-Nazi and both jousting for control of what is at this point an already fragile government. Throw into an already volatile mix the presence of old guard corrupt nationalist lunatics like the recently sprung from prison “Gas Princess” Yulia Tymoshenko going off the chain and ranting insanely and it is a proverbial ticking time bomb. These are not the remarks of a highly regarded figure would make to promote stability and foster well being:

"I am sorry that I am not able to be there and am not in charge of these processes, they wouldn't have had a fucking chance of getting Crimea off me."

"I would have found a way to finish off these bastards."

"I am hoping that I will use all my connections and will get the whole world to rise up so that not even scorched earth would be left of Russia."

"Discussing the fate of Ukraine's 8 million ethnic Russians, Tymoshenko was also heard saying that they should be "nuked."

She sounds just like Senator McCain's type of gal.

Nice stuff that the neocons have unleashed, kind of brings back memories of all of the sectarian killings, tortures, murders and prowling death squads that were unleashed after Bush and Cheney bombed and invaded Iraq. This could turn out to be a real mess for those greedy American corporations that Victoria “Fuck the EU” Nuland had invited to feast upon the conquered carcass of Ukraine like so many vultures.

But the vultures will indeed feast given the new growth industry that will be dead bodies strewn from one end of the country to the other thanks to yet another US foreign policy clusterfuck.

The Neocon Propaganda Mill Churns On

The neocon infested propaganda mills continue to churn, not only spinning away the Svoboda party MP attack on Oleksandr Panteleymonov but in the rush to nail Putin to their cross of lies there are as many omissions as there are sleazy hit jobs. I do have to hand it to the neocons for their perseverance as well as a never-ending supply of chutzpah. The increasing shrill squeals of outrage emanating from our star spangled chorus of swine not only continues unabated but in one of those wonderful centralized talking points that usually get attached to economic tales of wonder is “picking up steam”. The Washington Post though is in a league of its own when it comes to pumping out the lies and propaganda which it does as though each hit piece were a link sausage stuffed with tainted skunk meat.

The crown jewel of Amazon honcho Jeff Bezos’ empire has ratcheted up the production line speed with the latest foray into ridiculousness being a nasty diatribe by chess master Garry Kasparov with yet one more of those amazingly creative titles “It’s Time to Stop Putin” from which I excerpt:

The next obstacle to stopping Putin is the self-imposed paralysis of the leaders of Europe and the Group of Seven. It is easier for them to say that there is nothing they can do to check Putin’s ambitions than to admit that they lack the courage to act. Putin keeps raising the stakes, and the West just keeps folding. There are plenty of levers available to apply pressure on Putin, but they require confronting several hard truths. And this is a generation of political leaders accustomed to telling citizens that it is possible to both cut taxes and spend more, to be free and be safe, to be a great power without ever using power.

The first hard truth is that the only sanctions or other measures that would affect Putin’s conduct are those that, directly or indirectly, would target his hold on power. That is all Putin cares about, because he knows what happens when people in his position lose that grip. This is why a recent comment by Secretary of State John Kerry was precisely wrong. “We hope President Putin will recognize that none of what we’re saying is meant as a threat,” Kerry said. “It’s not meant in a personal way.” With one feeble remark, Kerry took off the table the only thing Putin cares about.

Obama repeated this mistake on Wednesday when he said that the United States would not send troops to defend Ukraine. Nobody was asking for troops, and Obama probably thinks he is defusing tensions. But where Obama sees a gesture of peaceful intent, Putin sees more weakness. To Putin, his opponent freely surrendered one of his greatest advantages: America’s overwhelming military strength. On Iran, on Syria and now regarding Ukraine, Obama has outsourced his foreign policy to Putin and, in so doing, has crippled the power of his office in ways that will long outlast his White House tenure.

While Kasparov speaks fluent neocon which is obvious by the insane level of sheer bellicosity of his screed it will be as pearls before swine because this is after all America and nobody really gives a rats ass about fucking chess. The NFL and NASCAR are king in this macho, war-saturated collection of superstitious religious fanatics, hard core homophobes, gun-totin’ Duck Dynasty types and neo-Confederate dumbasses who think that chess is for fags and pussies and that real men don’t waste their time on such endeavors. Now if the WaPo can dig up some disgruntled former Russian pro football player or distill all of that crap down and put it on the side of a race car it would resonate more with the demographic that the neocons so desperately need to get riled up as shock troops for the November mid-term elections. The WaPo has truly descended into the depths of parody and is little more than FOX News for people who bother to read but the more time that is devoted to the anti-Putin onslaught the more that the venue begins to resemble something more like Der Stürmer which would be apropos given the support pumped out for the neo-Nazis in Kiev. 

What is more troubling however is the flip side of the rabble rousing to topple the Putin regime is the complete absence of any serious discussion of what the consequences may be in terms of the ongoing economic sanctions that Obama keeps pushing. Russia isn’t Iran and there is going to be a very real and serious counter-response at some point. Europe is heavily dependent on Russian gas exports and there is already a restiveness afflicting the EU over how rapidly that this disaster is spinning out of control. Mr. Putin could quite simply cut off the gas which would delight American energy corporations already salivating over the prospect of exporting the bounty of domestic gas provided by the fracking boom. Obama may even be tempted to tap into the national strategic petroleum reserves to send it to Europe which should result in his immediate impeachment and subsequent removal from office but any such move would be greeted with the overwhelming bipartisan support that typically is bestowed upon the American war machine.

Putin is already reaching out to China for an alliance that has President Obama sufficiently rattled that he has juggled his coming schedule where he will be attempting to piece together another of those coalitions of the willing to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping at The Hague (the sheer irony of that one is delightful) to prostate himself before our top provider of funding. Despite the vast military superiority of the American Empire the wars of the future (and perhaps the present) will be fought through economics and the prospect of Putin cutting a deal with the Chinese who continue to keep the US economy on life support would be very problematic. Imagine what would happen if Russia and China dropped the dollar – you would need the proverbial wheelbarrow full of Reichmarks to buy a loaf of fucking bread as the entire house of cards would collapse. Not that the economic destruction of the imperial war machine would be a bad thing but with the collection of idiots, loose-cannons, narcissists and warmongers currently in charge they may counter any such move by punching in the nuclear launch codes.

None of this is ever offered up as a topic of debate because we no longer have such a thing in The Homeland nor would there be much participation if we did given the triumph of the willfully ignorant.

The US government and the media is lying about everything and the bigger the lies, the more that Obama's overly sensitive pride is tweaked and the more that the entire establishment continues to go 'all in' and push all of the chips to the center of the table this latest orgy of national brainwashing will continue.

Meanwhile Back in The Homeland

With the feverish 'all-in' push for the relaunching of the Cold War the NSA Stasi is probably delighted to be out of the spotlight for the time being at least. The waves of anti-Putin invective continue to roll out of the neocon dominated US propaganda machine over at the Washington Post, the latest war criminal on deck is former Bush administration National Security Adviser and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.  Like Dick Cheney and Colin Powell the lies of Ms. Rice were instrumental in making the case for the illegal and disastrous attack and invasion of Iraq, a country that did not remotely threaten the United States yet like the others she is afforded slavering treatment befitting a great and benevolent defender of human rights while outside of the bubble of The Homeland she would be just another accomplice to one of history's greatest crimes and should have had her day standing in the dock at the Hague. There were people who stood trial at Nuremberg and who were hanged for less than what Rice accomplished with her infamous "we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud" statement during an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

Following up the recent WaPo oped of her war criminal predecessor Henry A. Kissinger the 'Altair Voyager' penned a piece entitled "Will America heed the wake-up call of Ukraine?" in which she leads off with a convenient yet un-provable anecdote that:

 “Meet Viktor Yanu­kovych, who is running for the presidency of Ukraine.” Vladimir Putin and I were standing in his office at the presidential dacha in late 2004 when Yanu­kovych suddenly appeared from a back room. Putin wanted me to get the point. He’s my man, Ukraine is ours — and don’t forget it.

And followed by this call to arms –

This time has to be different. Putin is playing for the long haul, cleverly exploiting every opening he sees. So must we, practicing strategic patience if he is to be stopped. Moscow is not immune from pressure. This is not 1968, and Russia is not the Soviet Union. The Russians need foreign investment; oligarchs like traveling to Paris and London, and there are plenty of ill-gotten gains stored in bank accounts abroad; the syndicate that runs Russia cannot tolerate lower oil prices; neither can the Kremlin’s budget, which sustains subsidies toward constituencies that support Putin. Perhaps Condi is telling the truth – something that she failed to do while the costly in terms of blood and treasure Iraq debacle could have been avoided but it has more than a slight whiff of the normal bullshit that the high criminals of the new Evil Empire regularly trot out without ever being called on them.  The key though is the playing of the Keystone XL pipeline card, as a former Chevron executive her obvious lack of credibility due to conflicts of interest should be pounced on by journalists and a media that honors their duties in the traditions of the First Amendment. We don’t have one here – at least anymore and after the embarrassment of the outing of the unconstitutional NSA surveillance colossus thanks to the leaks from whistleblower Edward Snowden outgoing American Stasi Commandant General Keith Alexander hinted that there will soon be new measures (very likely of a Draconian nature)  implemented to deal with the reportage of the rogue NSA going forward. Oh, and Condi’s former employer Chevron who thought so much of her that they named a fucking oil tanker after her is in full party mode as the corporation just prolonged against an Ecuadoran judgment that got wiped out thanks to getting it thrown into the corrupt US judicial system which never had jurisdiction. It is exactly as journalist Greg Palast dubbed it - "the best democracy money can buy". 

And when it comes to buying "democracy" and according to The Guardian none other than "Yats" himself is going to be coming to America this week to visit the White House. He would be the pencil-necked little geek who was illegally installed as the Ukranian Prime Minister whose formal name is Arseny Yatseniuk. "Yats" is the term of endearment used by Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nuland during that intercepted phone call on an unsecured line (what a dumb bitch) as the US was lining up the coup d'etat that would oust democratically elected Viktor Yanukovych in favor of a rogue junta led by the former central banker who will be tasked with carving up Ukraine to be feasted upon by the global financial mafia.

"Yats" will undoubtedly be trotted out by Obama as the head of the 'freedom fighters' seeking to cast off the yoke of the evil bear as has been reincarnated by the spinners as Vladimir Putin's new Soviet Union - note how the same old shit is repackaged to suit the times - not that long ago it was the Islamic Caliphate. The neo-Nazis and fascists that "Yats" relies on as his enforcers are no different than those former 'freedom fighters' that were extolled by none other than the Gipper himself in the Latin American butchers known as the Contras as well as  the Islamist fanatic packed Mujahideen from which al Qaeda sprung forth. I can at some level understand Reagan's backing of murderous thugs given the decades long national trauma that was the Cold War but please explain to me why it is exactly that Obama and his neocons are using American taxpayer money to back a bunch of fucking neo-Nazis. There is no money for the extension of the benefits for the long-term unemployed in this country yet Barry and the boys are able to funnel billions to an illegally installed regime and neo-Nazis?

This is so wrong that there just are not sufficient words to describe it and while the state-corporate media has blasted out months of anti-Putin propaganda to back the filthy overthrow of the sitting government in Ukraine it is no excuse because the truth is out there if people would just get off of their lazy asses and bother to look for it.

Palling Around with Neo-Nazis

 During today's Sunday morning state-corporate media slimefest where anti-Putin hysteria will be the topic du jour there will likely be no questions whatsoever asked as to why the U.S. has backed neo-Nazis in what was obviously a western orchestrated coup against the democratically elected leader of Ukraine.  One of the ‘guests’ will probably be the fiendish Arizona Senator John McCain, a crazed warmonger and longtime Russia hater who is foaming at the mouth for another opportunity to send American military men and women into harm’s way as blood sacrifices for eternal war. McCain’s garbage and the state media embrace of a deranged old man as some sort of elder statesman illustrates the now complete rot of the American political system.

The neocons were barely finished jacking each other off over their devious plot to strike back at their personal bogeyman Russian leader Vladimir Putin while he was distracted with the Sochi Olympic games by backing a fascist coup in Ukraine when Putin obtained permission from the Russian parliament to send military forces into the border country which he understandably did. The latest scheme from the PNAC gang has just gone up like a flaming bag of dogshit in their bloodstained hands just like the invasion of Iraq did. You would figure that such a motley collection of pseudo intellectuals, rank weasels, fools, chickenhawks and cheapjack Machiavellian wannabes would at some point face the mockery that they deserve, an exile from their media spokesperson gigs and a purge from every institution in which they can have any influence over U.S. policy. But as has been painfully evident for years now this once great country has gone insane, and criminally so therefore the usual scum will be making the rounds on Meet the Press, Fox News Sunday, Face the Nation, State of the Union and This Week with George Stephanopoulos on the rancid ‘news’ shows from which the weekly spin is launched.

The entire establishment media has yet to bother mentioning that the coup d’etat that sent Ukranian President Viktor Yanukovych fleeing in fear of his life was heavily dependent on the support of extremist neo-Nazi elements that western agitators not only embraced but supported. None other than Senator John McCain made a pilgrimage to Kiev to rub elbows with the rabble that dressed up in Medieval garb, set the streets on fire, murdered police officers and executed the putsch. One of McCain’s neo-Nazi chums was Svoboda party member Oleh Tyahnybok with whom the globe-trotting epitome of the ‘ugly American’ was photographed with during his visit to throw his support behind the insurrectionists. This is not the first time that McCain has made an ass out himself in such a manner, having recently been embarrassed by a photo with criminal elements of the anti-Assad Syrian rebel forces. Just a hint to the Sunday morning mouthpieces of imperial conquest and that is when the United States of America finds itself supporting neo-Nazis, full blown fascists and al Qaeda affiliated militants in the push for planetary domination it has officially lost any last vestige of moral high ground.

But it is not as though the best and the brightest in our most exceptional of nations has had an aversion to dealing with Nazis in the past - real ones at that. A new book by Annie Jacobson "Operation Paperclip" chronicles the post-war importation of Nazi scientists including serious war criminals into the U.S. where they would continue their research but would be collecting their paychecks from the American taxpayer instead of the Third Reich. There was also the matter of the Gehlen Org. where U.S. intelligence assimilated Hitler's commander of Eastern intelligence, General Reinhard Gehlen and his Nazi cohorts to lead the crusade against the red menace. Gehlen was grateful to the extent that he consistently supplied the inflated intel and cooked numbers that ensured that the big money would continue to roll in for the permanent armaments industry. There is also the matter of Wall Street firms including the venerable Sullivan & Cromwell where the Dulles brothers schemed as well as Prescott Bush whose Union Banking Corporation which was actually shut down under the Trading With the Enemy Act - that Allen Dulles was instrumental in creating the CIA as well as supporting Nazis and that Bush was the father and grandfather of two future U.S. Presidents is indicative of the abdication of any type of morality that one must assume to rise to the top in the American establishment.

The disturbing thing about the neo-Nazis in Ukraine is not so much that the state-corporate media will not bother to acknowledge it but that very few people would likely care thanks to the effectiveness of the brainwashing that has gone on since Putin intervened to halt the war on Syria. When it gets so bad that even the highly respected sports commentator Bob Costas uses the Olympics as a forum for launching into an anti-Putin diatribe you can see how much effort has gone into this costly and all-encompassing propaganda campaign.
