Neocon Hack Jonah Goldberg Mocks Trump Supporters as Being in Need of an Intervention

A big name writer for a prominent national political publication has launched a scathing attack on those who support maverick Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Trump’s astonishing popularity has the D.C. establishment shitting in their britches and the protectors of the elite denizens of that big imperial city along the Potomac are circling the wagons. The Donald has been smacked down by longtime establishment pundits the likes of George Will and Charles Krauthammer - both of the Washington Post editorial page - but now a new tactic is emerging of smearing and slandering his supporters.

We last saw this dastardly plan implemented during the rise of the Tea Party when a legitimate state of distaste and disgust with Emperor Barack Obama and his corrupt regime led to a huge backlash and the GOP retaking the House back in 2010. The Tea Party folks, an eclectic mixture of libertarians, social conservatives, fiscal hawks and the remnants of the Ron Paul movement were dismissed as cranks and racists by the same bought and paid for media that is now savaging Donald Trump and his supporters. Hey, I fell for all at one time but a lot of those folks were played both ways and were unwitting pawns in the big political game of racial indignation. This cuts both ways too. 

The article in question is a scurrilous hit piece featured at The National Review online by longtime pundit and blogger Jonah Goldberg and is an example of just how low that the presstitutes and propagandists will go to protect their sacred cows. Mr. Goldberg can be described as being a member of the influential neoconservative gaggle which always promotes foreign wars no matter how ruinous and costly and with no regard to the short and long term detrimental effects on the American people. Goldberg mocks Trump and basically calls out those who have been flocking to his rallies and speeches as nothing more than suckers, rubes and chumps while calling for the “Trump-pets” to undergo an intervention similar to what would be delivered to drunks and drug addicts.

The entitled Goldberg’s poison pen is ablaze in the piece entitled “Trump Fans, It’s Time for an Intervention” from which I excerpt the following:

Truly, honestly, and with all my heart and mind think Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters are making a yuuuuuuge mistake. I think they are being conned and played. I feel like a guy whose brother is being taken advantage of by a grifter. I’m watching helplessly as the con artist congratulates him for taking out a third mortgage.

Now, before I go on, let me clarify a few things. I get it. The base of the party is angry. They’re angry about Obama’s lawless chicanery on immigration. They’re angry about the GOP’s patented inability to cross the street without stepping on its own d*ck and then having to apologize for it. They’re angry that the Left’s culture warriors are behaving like an invading army that shoots the survivors even after they’ve surrendered. They’re angry that Republicans have to bend over backward so as not to offend anyone, while Democrats have free rein (and at times free reign) to do and to say as they please.

Enter Trump, stage left. He makes no apologies. He’s brash. I can understand why some see him as a breath of fresh air. If you want to give him credit for starting a worthwhile debate about sanctuary cities and illegal immigration, fine. I think that argument is way overdone, but certainly reasonable enough.

Trump supporters need an intervention. I want to sit them down at the kitchen table, reach into a manila envelope, and pull out the proof that he’s a fraud.

The most troubling defense is this claptrap that he “tells it like it is.” Well, first of all, no he doesn’t. He tells it the way you want to hear it, which is an entirely different thing. He is like William Jennings Bryan, only his cross of gold has an all-you-can-eat buffet under it, and looks remarkably like a capital “T.”

Trump is even less truly conservative, but he’s trying to speak in an even grubbier dialect of conservatism. And, having grown up in the tabloid politics of New York, he’s better at faking it.

Eventually, I suspect, this will be the cause of his undoing. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know about conservatism, and at some point he will say something that even his biggest fans will recognize as a damning revelation about the real man beneath the schtick. The only question is whether he implodes before or after he does permanent damage to the GOP’s chances in 2016.

Goldberg goes on to lay out the case that Mr. Trump is the one who is actually the RINO and not three quarters of the rest of the field including the king in waiting “Jeb!”. His piece is a litany of horseshit and cherry picking that is as shamefully misleading as most of the rest of the tripe that is cranked out by the intellectual guardians of the beltway ruling class like link sausage made out of tainted skunk meat. He is a professional drive-by shooter, a specialist in knee-capping and a practitioner of the dark artistry of ad hominem attacks but he manages to make a pretty good living at it.

One thing to remember about guys like Jo-Berg is that he is an elitist himself, the type that former Vice President Spiro Agnew once referred to as “nattering nabobs” and “effete intellectual snobs” and the one thing that such swine truly fear is that one day enough folks will wake up and begin to throw the con artists, charlatans, racketeers and false prophets who have hijacked our democracy out of power. That would then force hordes of overpaid, careerist, ass-kissing douchebags and apologists like Mr. Goldberg to go and get real fucking jobs.

Jonah Goldberg is a scummy cocksucker from the word go as well as a child of privilege and opportunity. His mommy Lucianne paved the way for this wretched propagandist with her work on the Monica Lewinsky scandal where she helped to manipulate the moronic Linda Tripp into getting that famous sperm-covered blue dress. That is the one big thing with the neocons be their surnames Kristol, Podhoretz or Goldberg - nepotism rules but that is why they would be perfectly happy with either Bush or Clinton in the White House come 2017.

Jeb Bush to Give Big Foreign Policy Speech

With Americans’ political choices in the 2016 presidential race having pretty much already been made for them – Bush III or Clinton II – it is now up to the candidates to craft their sales pitches. While neither one will differ drastically from the other in terms of endless foreign entanglements, banker bailouts, mass surveillance, the war on civil liberties and amnesty for illegals it is all a matter of packaging. While Hillary lays low in the weeds - a luxury in that she has no competition from other Democrats – Jeb is going to have to actually go out and hit the cornbread and rubber chicken circuit to sell his policies.

Reuters is reporting that Jeb is doing just that in what is billed as an “exclusive” on his first major foreign policy speech in the story “Republican Jeb Bush to lay out case for stronger U.S. role in world”:

The United States needs to regain its leadership role in the world, Republican Jeb Bush will say in a speech on Wednesday, while asserting that President Barack Obama has been inconsistent and indecisive in carrying out American foreign policy.

Bush's speech at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs will be his first major foray into foreign policy since he announced in December that he is considering a run for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

“The great irony of the Obama presidency is this: Someone who came to office promising greater engagement with the world has left America less influential in the world,” Bush will say, according to speech excerpts that were provided to Reuters.

The former Florida governor is casting a wide net for advice on national security. An aide provided to Reuters a diverse list of 20 diplomatic and national security veterans who will be providing informal advice to Bush in the coming months.

Many of them are from past Republican administrations, including those of his father and brother, former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, as well as that of Ronald Reagan.

Jeb’s gaggle of foreign policy and national security advisors include the likes of James Baker III, Paul Wolfowitz, Michael Chertoff, Tom Ridge, Stephen Hadley, Porter Goss, Michael Hayden. Paula Dobriansky and Robert Zoellick. It is fair to say that a Jeb Bush regime would represent a return to the era of the neoconservatives and the first George W. Bush term. Jeb is essentially putting the band back together again.

This doesn’t bode well for the financial prospects of Americans in that counter to the post-World War II conventional wisdom that war is good for the economy it only applies to the connected insiders. The gravy train will be running at full speed under Bush III and the key will be selling a “stronger America” to an electorate that if it understands nothing else it understands that Obama’s foreign policy has been an aimless and ineffective mess. But what can you expect when you bring in John “Skull and Bones” Kerry, Susan Rice and Samantha Power as your heavy hitters. The Bush collection of neocons can be called many things but incompetent is not among them.

This is not a good thing for average Americans and with Jeb already staking out a very muscular foreign policy vision it will be incumbent upon Hillary – no shrinking violet – to present an even more bellicose vision of a “stronger America”. None of this hogwash about American having a “stronger role” in the world does one damned thing to address the very serious problems in The Homeland. The reality is that America is now a land of a rigged financial system that is unable to function without government backstopping, ever increasing mass surveillance, diminishing civil liberties, crumbling infrastructure, lousy jobs (thanks to offshoring and importing illegal aliens) and dismal hopes for future generations.

Neither Jeb Bush nor Hillary Clinton represent anything short of a strengthening of a status quo grown fat and powerful off of cashing in on the never ending Global War on Terror (GWOT).  In a true and functional democracy – we no longer live in one – voters would have a choice that offers more difference than a taste test between Coke and Pepsi.

Shameless Biden Allegedly Cried During American Sniper

Vice President Joe “Foghorn Leghorn” Biden remains a very dark horse candidate for the 2016 Democratic party presidential nod and being a canny career politician with no shame he is prone to histrionics. Whether it be emotional outbursts or the proclivity for putting his foot in his mouth old Joe can always be counted on to grab attention. In the unlikely event that Hillary Clinton’s inevitable coronation is derailed – perhaps by another Bubba sex scandal – Biden will be the only viable replacement. Liberal hero Elizabeth Warren? Forget it, she is just the newer version of the phony “hope and change” peddled by Advertising Age’s "2008 Marketer of the Year" Barack Obama. Bernie Sanders? The man is an admitted socialist and a borderline cadaver. Biden will be the only option if Queen Hillary for some reason decides not to run.

So it is incumbent upon blabbering Joe to grab some positive media attention while branding himself as an all-American guy. As a part of this imaging strategy the story has come out that he wept at the end of Clint Eastwood’s new movie American Sniper. According to The Daily Beast in a piece entitled “Oscar-Nominated ‘American Sniper’ Made Joe Biden Cry”:

While attending the Washington, DC, premiere of American Sniper held at the Burke Theatre at the U.S. Navy Memorial on Tuesday night, the Vice President of the United States offered his three-word review of the film. “It’s intense, man,” Joe Biden said, before adding that veterans still need our help and deserve our deepest respect.

In fact, the vice president enjoyed the film enough that, according to three separate people seated near him, Biden was moved to tears during the film's final sequence. Biden's is one of many positive reviews that American Sniper has earned.

Biden is just the type of cheesy bastard who would intentionally turn on the waterworks if he knew it would grab him some positive media coverage. Launching into phony crying jags is pretty simple if you stand to gain politically from it – look at how often that Speaker of the House John Boehner engages in displays of choking and sobbing. With the 2016 election meme well on the way towards becoming an orgy of flag-draped, apple pie authoritarianism and American exceptionalism (there is nothing exceptional about mass surveillance and a domestic police state) American Sniper is an early litmus test. The focus groups will be carefully watching the reaction to the movie which is already steeped in controversy over being too pro-war and drawing scorn from liberals.

Clint Eastwood has redeemed himself with many conservatives after his infamous appearance at the 2012 Republican National Convention by making this movie. Eastwood horrified Mitt Romney staffers with his bizarre, rambling conversation with an empty chair that stole the nominee’s thunder and sucked up media attention. The film is a dramatization of the life of Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL sniper who racked up over 150 kills while serving in Iraq. Kyle was decorated for his service and became a national hero but met an unexpected and tragic end when he was shot and killed by a PTSD afflicted Marine Corps veteran at a Texas shooting range.

I have always been a fan of Eastwood, ever since the early days when the epic western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly headed up a four-movie spaghetti western marathon at the local drive-in theatre. The first two Dirty Harry movies are classics and my other favorites during my formative years were Kelly’s Heroes and Where Eagles Dare. Later in his career Eastwood – who has identified his politics as being libertarian – became more settled in as an acclaimed director and less of an actor. American Sniper is not the first movie to be politicized nor will it be the last and Eastwood has seen his work glommed onto by politicians in the past. Don’t forget that Super Bowl Chrysler commercial “Halftime in America” that was immediately turned into a political football.

Such is the case with American Sniper with the reaction being typically divisive in a rapidly fracturing America (the establishment likes it that way) with the exchanges already pretty heated. With his films as a director often being more steeped in ambiguity and shades of gray – Letters from Iwo Jima, Gran Torino, Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby to name a few – it is probably a lot more difficult to pigeon-hole American Sniper as an ideological statement. Eastwood has made statements that he opposed going to war in Afghanistan and Iraq so the film may be far more nuanced than the professional yappers in the media are portraying it.

That will not stop the political travelers from trying though, especially a guy like Joe Biden who brings to mind the H.L. Mencken quote "Imagine a gentleman, and you have imagined everything that he was not".

While I have not seen the movie myself - and don't plan to given my loathing for anything that even remotely promotes the endless neocon wars of aggression - the politics of it all make me want to vomit. There will never be an end to war in The Homeland as long as there are people who insist on worshipping the professional killers of Empire like Chris Kyle. When he came back from the war and then became a celebrity he pretty much abandoned the pretense of a professional soldier for that of just another mercenary. 

Fozzie Bear Fascism: Obama Launches War on "Extremists"

As Chicago Mayor and former Democrat power broker Rahm Emanuel famously put it “never let a serious crisis go to waste” and Emperor Obama gets it. With the Charlie Hebdo murders in Paris, a mysterious (and probably bogus) alleged ISIS hijacking of CENTCOM social media and the hysteria in the aftermath of the to this day unproven North Korean involvement in the Sony hacking a crackdown is coming. Barack Obama is about to give birth to the war on “extremism”, the definition of which is so vague so as to potentially include political foes, activist groups, bloggers, independent writers and of course any who refuse to worship at the altar of absolute government power. Keep in mind that Obama has already used the Internal Revenue Service to go after Tea Party affiliated political opposition groups and the police state to do crush the the Occupy movement.

Dear Leader will be hosting a “global security summit” next month in Washington that will attract world leaders including the Brits’ David Cameron whose increasingly strident rhetoric brings to mind that of Norsefire party Chancellor Adam Sutler from the movie “V For Vendetta”. Cameron shocked Brits when he advocated for the banning of encryption so that the U.K. security services and spooks will be able to monitor everything. Don’t be surprised if Obama and his NSA Stasi and their allies soon go after internet encryption in the U.S.A. too, the Holy Grail of the surveillance state has been the cracking of encrypted communications. Soon, if Obama is able to close the deal in selling the Fourth Amendment destroying cybersecurity bill to the people it will put us on a path to a society where as Orwell once wrote: "Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimetres inside your skull".

Obama will be warming up this week for his State of the Union Address during which he will lie like a rug in pushing the new cybersecurity bill to the sheeple and it will be wrapped in the benign guise of protecting corporations. The corporations – which have armies of lobbyists and influence who gets campaign funding – will be given the green light to share EVERYTHING about you with the government. This is a very bad deal for the American people in that at least theoretically the government is supposed to have some degree of accountability while transnational corporations don’t. The kicker is that the legislation will provide total immunity to those corporations in regards to the data that is harvested and given to a fascist state that grows exponentially more powerful with every “terrorist” attack or hacking.

Libertarian financial blog has a good piece that takes a look at the implications of what Obama and his lackeys in Congress are prepared to foist off on a gullible public entitled “Obama Declares War On "Extremism" – Are You An "Extremist"?" from which I excerpt the following:

Do you know what an “extremist” is?  In the wake of the horrible terror attacks on the offices of Charlie Hebdo in France, Barack Obama is speaking very boldly about the need to win the war against “extremists”, and he has announced plans to host a major global summit on “extremism” next month.  And on the surface that sounds great.  But precisely how are we supposed to determine whether someone is an “extremist” or not?  What criteria should we use?

As you will see below, your definition of an “extremist” may be far, far different from the definition that Barack Obama is using.  When you do a Google search, you will find that an “extremist” is defined as “a person who holds extreme or fanatical political or religious views, especially one who resorts to or advocates extreme action.”  According to Wikipedia, “extremism” is “an ideology (particularly in politics or religion), considered to be far outside the mainstream attitudes of a society or to violate common moral standards.  

Extremism can take many forms, including political, religious and economic.”  Please notice that neither of those definitions uses the word violence.  In this day and age, you can be considered an “extremist” simply based on what you believe, and as you will see later in this article there are now tens of millions of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” according to official U.S. government documents.

When you use the word “extremist”, you may have in your mind a picture of ISIS fighters or the terrorists from the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

But for elitists such as Barack Obama, the word “extremist” has a much broader meaning.  In recent years, it has become a code word for those that do not have an “enlightened” view of the world.  If your views on politics, religion or social issues are extremely different from the liberal, progressive views of “the mainstream” (as defined by the mainstream media and by “mainstream” politicians such as Barack Obama), then they consider you to be an extremist.

The writer of the piece, Michael Snyder who runs the blog Economic Collapse also has a list of who may end up on the “extremist” list and here is a very brief sampling:

Those who are anti-global, may believe in "conspiracy theories", are advocates of "states rights", opponents of illegal immigration, anti-abortion activists, those that have a negative view of the United Nations, returning veterans, those who are suspicious of centralized federal authority, people who have the wrong bumper stickers, those frustrated with "mainstream ideologies, those who are "anti-Muslim", gun rights activists, certain types of Christians and anyone that "visits extremist websites/blogs.

Chances are that many of us fit into at least one of those categories and will soon be subject to increased scrutiny by the feds for simply having beliefs that run counter to those who have usurped the U.S. Constitution and succeeded in bastardizing democracy. Not only will those who are deemed to have "extremist" views be in that big government database but once Obama and his ilk execute their deal with the devil in giving legal immunity to corporations "extremists" could be effectively blackballed in the labor market as well. It will give the government the added tool of waging economic warfare on all who question it under the cover of outsourcing the dirty work to corporations.

These are truly perilous times in which we live thanks to the moral degradation of our "leadership" class, it's just too bad that so many Americans have no clue of how rapidly that the trap is closing.

Torture is Just the Way We Roll in the USA! USA! USA!

With all due respect to Maine Senator Angus King on the CIA torture report he is dead wrong: that is exactly who we are. "Did we torture people? Yes. Did it work? No" King, a Maine independent who caucuses with Democrats, said on CNN after the release of the heavily redacted, watered down sample that was the executive summary. Flying in the face of King’s pronouncement is the grim and sordid evidence provided by a Washington Post/ABC News poll that showed that 59 percent of Americans are down with torture of the same type that had Nazi war criminals hanged at Nuremberg. "This is not America. This is not who we are," King said. "What was done diminished our stature and enflamed [Islamist extremists], terrorists around the world." But it is not the Islamists that we should be worried about – it is the red, white and blue clad flag-suckers who are the cheerleaders of the fascist state of the new American century.

Somehow the neocons have managed to return to prominence within the hallowed halls of a besmirched U.S. government and a propaganda machine of which Joseph Goebbels himself would be in awe of. Fox News bimbo hostess Andrea Tantaros had a unique but predictable take on the Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA torture programs, which included among other sick and degenerate acts - pureeing food and anally"feeding" it to a detainee and threatening rape of family members.

"The United States of America is awesome. We are awesome, but we've had this discussion" about torture, Tantaros said. She lamented, "the reason they want to have this discussion is not to show how awesome we are;" rather, "this administration wants to have this discussion to show us how we're not awesome." This is because "they apologized for this country, they don't like this country, they want us to look bad. And all this does is have our enemies laughing at us, that we are having this debate again."

But of course that is what Fox News would say for like their prototypes Goebbels and Julius Streicher it is a powerful megaphone for the most evil and vile impulses of a particular authoritarian element. While America will never go full blown Nazi - it is just too ostentatious and crude - the techniques of the masters have been refined for the information age. Fox routinely trots out vermin the likes of Dick Cheney, the Grand Poobah of the torture state (did he actually masturbate over those missing videos?) and other neocon filth to make the case for morons obsessed with the ludicrous "ticking time bomb" scenario. It is also Fox that served as the delivery system for one of the most sinister of the post 9/11 efforts to effectively brainwash the star-spangled sheep into the acceptance of torture. The television series "24" with Kiefer Sutherland starring as America's favorite Nazi, Jack Bauer was an instant sensation in a terrified, revenge crazed country determined to exact a terrible vengeance for the taking down of those precious towers.

The New Hammerhead was a perfect cowboy. He was vicious & stupid & ignorant of everything except his own fears and appetites. A Brief Interlude: In Jack’s Country

The torture infomercial was a smash hit for years on Fox and conditioned Americans to accept torture and the ridiculous James Bond style doomsday scenarios that were constantly invoked by the Cheney gang. Later replaced by the Obama era refinement of indoctrination of Showtime’s “Homeland” along with it's Iranian sleeper agents embedded within the government. The enemies change along with the times and so does the official propaganda. The next ratings titan will be about the Russians - bet on it.

Outside of “24” and “Homeland” and their runs on the electronic crackpipe the meme that torture was acceptable found a place in big time Hollywood movies with the acclaimed “Zero Dark Thirty”. The movie, which garnered a fistful of Academy Award nominations was the story of “Maya”, an intrepid and relentless female anti-terrorist crusader and her role in tracking down the bad-assed bogeyman Osama bin Laden. As stories have emerged following the release of the torture report it has become clear that not only was the lie about torture working total bullshit but the story of "Maya" herself is too.

The tale of "Maya" is a curious one indeed given that the actual person that the "Zero Dark Thirty" character was based on, Alfreda Frances Bikowsky aka the "Queen of Torture" is a mysterious figure whose identity has been protected throughout the phony war on terror. Thanks to Pulitzer Prize winner Glenn Greenwald at The Intercept who outs her in a damning piece entitled “Meet Alfreda Bikowsky, The Senior Officer At The Center Of The CIA’S Torture Scandals” the real identity of the "Maya" is now known. I excerpt the following from Greenwald's piece:

NBC News yesterday called her a “key apologist” for the CIA’s torture program. A follow-up New Yorker article dubbed her “The Unidentified Queen of Torture” and in part “the model for the lead character in ‘Zero Dark Thirty.’” Yet in both articles she was anonymous.

The person described by both NBC and The New Yorker is senior CIA officer Alfreda Frances Bikowsky. Multiple news outlets have reported that as the result of a long string of significant errors and malfeasance, her competence and integrity are doubted — even by some within the agency.

The Intercept is naming Bikowsky over CIA objections because of her key role in misleading Congress about the agency’s use of torture, and her active participation in the torture program (including playing a direct part in the torture of at least one innocent detainee). Moreover, Bikowsky has already been publicly identified by news organizations as the CIA officer responsible for many of these acts.

The executive summary of the torture report released by the Senate last week provides abundant documentation that the CIA repeatedly and deliberately misled Congress about multiple aspects of its interrogation program. Yesterday, NBC News reported that one senior CIA officer in particular was responsible for many of those false claims, describing her as “a top al Qaeda expert who remains in a senior position at the CIA.”

NBC, while withholding her identity, noted that the same unnamed officer “also participated in ‘enhanced interrogations’ of self-professed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, witnessed the waterboarding of terror suspect Abu Zubaydah and ordered the detention of a suspected terrorist who turned out to be unconnected to al Qaeda, according to the report.”

The New Yorker‘s Jane Mayer, writing yesterday about the NBC article, added that the officer “is still in a position of high authority over counterterrorism at the C.I.A.” This officer, Mayer noted, is the same one who “dropped the ball when the C.I.A. was given information that might very well have prevented the 9/11 attacks; she gleefully participated in torture sessions afterward; she misinterpreted intelligence in such a way that it sent the C.I.A. on an absurd chase for Al Qaeda sleeper cells in Montana. And then she falsely told congressional overseers that the torture worked.” Mayer also wrote that the officer is “the same woman” identified in the Senate report who oversaw “the months-long rendition and gruesome interrogation of another detainee whose detention was a case of mistaken identity.”

That Ms. Bikowsky was present during the torture sessions begs the question of what exactly were the objectives? Were the victims being tortured in such a manner to make them provide false information that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11? While Bikowsky's conduct and presence are more than a bit mysterious there is one critical question where nobody is prepared to go? Was her "screw up" that blocked critical intelligence that could have stopped the attacks and prevented the day when everything changed the bumbling of an arrogant egomaniac or something far more sinister?

Dick Cheney spent a hell of a lot of time at CIA before and after 9/11 and it is a legitimate question to ask as to whether he knew Bikowsky. Sources have referred to her as a "bitch on wheels" who seems to have been in place at a crucial failure point at a key time to have prevented the attacks. The Homeland is now over thirteen years past the demarcation point of a free society and well into the post-democratic era and any questioning of the events of 9/11 are treated as blasphemy against a national religion. 

There was a time when it wasn't tantamount to treason to ponder the role of Cheney, the neocons and certain foreign elements in executing that transformative event. Now, using the always reliable public mockery and scorning of heretics of the temple of fascism erected out of the smoldering ruins of the World Trade Center with the overused but tired lable of "conspiracy theorist" and the updated version which is "truther" such questioners have been silenced. There has however never been a legitimate investigation of what happened on September 11, 2001 and the government officials who were on watch at the time - such as Cheney -are treated like elder statesmen instead of traitors and war criminals. We may never have the answers but given the ease in which the transition to a full-blown national surveillance/police state and the launching of the war on civilizations it sure smells like a coup d'etat to me. But that is a story far too complex to get into now.

Emperor Barack Obama continues to protect the torturers and Bush administration figures whose massive "failure" resulted in the worst "terrorist" attack in U.S. history as well as the murder of over 3,000 people. To this day - January 10, 2015 - Obama has done not one goddamned thing to roll back the crimes of his predecessors in the Bush- Cheney administration. Therefore he is complicit in their crimes yet there will be no justice in this country as long as the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 goes unchallenged. And don't look for anything but more war, torture, surveillance and stripping of civil liberties once Obama has departed. He was a practicioner of the Fozzie Bear version of fascism but his successor won't be. The neocons are already hedging their bets with major candidates of both parties and the future is grim once they have returned to power with an ax to grind.

The preservation of the self-proclaimed divine right of the state of Israel to carve out lebensraum was the organizing principle of the PNAC neocons and the Netanyahu regime. Bibi has waited it out and will soon be rid of the hated Obama and have a pliant idiot - perhaps Mitt Romney - who will dial up those long overdue airstrikes on Tehran. This week's brutal assassination of a number of cartoonists and writers at the French "satirical" newspaper Charlie Hebdo even has liberals enlisting in the great war on civilizations and the Republicans have just assumed control of Congress. 

South Carolina's strident (and likely sexually blackmailed) Senator Lindsey Graham has just issued a vow of allegiance to Netanyahu. According to Sheldon Adelson's Israel Hayom, the Palmetto State princess dismissed the lame duck Obama by proclaiming that "Congress has Israel's Back" and "I think the U.S.-Israel relationship's anchor tenant is the Congress." In that statement Graham let it slip that there is indeed a Deep State and with such obvious treason on the lips of an influential Senator it certainly would not be beyond that shadow government to pull off a bold operation like 9/11. Torture is nothing compared to the audacity of such a grand scale false flag event.

So the torturers will continue to live in comfort, never having to worry about the prison terms that they so richly are deserving of for their unspeakable acts of depravity.  Rectal feeding? What sort of a fucking twisted, perverted mind would come up with something like that? Was it too impractical to just subject the prisoners to something like maybe scaphism which is described as:

The naked person was firmly fastened within a back-to-back pair of narrow rowing boats (or a hollowed-out tree trunk), with the head, hands, and feet protruding. The condemned was forced to ingest milk and honey to the point of developing severe diarrhea, and more honey would be rubbed on his body so as to attract insects to the exposed appendages. Death, when it eventually occurred, was probably due to a combination of dehydration, starvation and septic shock. Delirium would typically set in after a few days.

In other recorded versions, the insects did not eat the person; biting and stinging insects such as wasps, which were attracted by honey on the body, acted as the torture.

Death by scaphism was painful, humiliating, and protracted. Plutarch writes in his biography of Artaxerxes that Mithridates, sentenced to die in this manner for killing Cyrus the Younger, survived 17 days before dying.

Now that would be a wonderful punishment for a sick, twisted pig-fucker like Dick Cheney since he would probably actually enjoy the rectal feeding and sado-sexual aspects of official United States government sanctioned “Advanced Interrogation Techniques”.

And Then Came Petro

Granted that it wasn’t quite the 29 standing ovations that the corrupt U.S. Congress gave to the extremist leader of "God's chosen land" during a 2011 speech but Washington’s puppet from Kiev brought still brought down the house. Last week's disgusting orgy of adoration was showered upon mass-murdering Ukranian oligarch Petro Poroshenko aka the Chocolate King who was trotted out before a joint session of Congress. Porky Poroshenko was taking a break from the ongoing "anti-terrorist" operations in East Ukraine to solicit more American taxpayer loot for the US-EU-NATO Axis of Aggression kill crazy rampage sold to the schmucks as a war between freedom and the devil Vladimir Putin. The propaganda beacon for the neocon fanatics at the Washington Post editorial board ran a plea to arm the Nazis that coincided with the speech. 

While the ugly truth is that the "anti-terrorist" operations as well as the entire neocon backed coup d'etat are entirely western provoked and are being carried out by neo-Nazi death squads and militias is concealed by a propaganda machine without equal this is just another act of aggression against the American people by their true enemies: the Obama regime and the U.S. Congress.

Is John Kerry Getting a Hand Job from John McCain?

Ukraine has been flying a bit under the radar as of late thanks to the corrupt state-corporate media's ISIS obsession but a proxy war against Putin is still the apple of the neocons' eye. While the Congress further sullies the once good reputation of the USA! USA! USA! by affording false legitimacy and a thunderous series of ovations to the pig Porshenko there is an increasing sense of desperation to back the junta in Kiev.

The Vineyard of the Saker offers up this outstanding analysis of the Poroshenko spectacle:

The big event of the week was, I think, Poroshenko's speech to what I call the Imperial Senate (aka Joint Session of Congress). I have made the full transcript available here and here. I don't think that it is worth carefully parsing this text, so I will just mention the few elements which are absolutely obvious to me:

1) This text was written by a US Neocon. It even included such typical US-propaganda gimmicks as the "personal story" to give a human touch and moment carefully crafted to generate applause. So no only what the author of this rant American, but he/she was for sure a diehard Neocon.

2) This text was a lame attempt at copying Churchill's "Iron Curtain" speech, except that Poroshenko is no Churchill, Putin no Stalin and Novorussia no Soviet Union. Nonetheless, the message was clear: Russia represents a planetary threat to freedom, democracy, liberty, human right, free speech, etc. In fact, according to Poroshenko the choice is not between two civilizations but between civilization and barbaric darkness.

3) The US deep state is by now clearly aware of the immense challenge presented to it by Putin's "Eurasian Sovereignist" Russia and the movement it leads (BRICS+SCO+etc.). The fact that it has to use such absolutely over the top rhetoric is a clear sign of fear and the Neocons are now freaking out. The danger for them is becoming very real (more about that below).

4) More than anything else, this speech proved to me that the only viable goal for Russia is regime change in Kiev. This is a message I will hammer in over and over again - regime change in Kiev is a vital, arguable existential, priority for Russia.

5) Far from being any kind of patriots or nationalists, the Ukie "nationalists" are subservient puppets of the West, willing to service AngloZionist interests with less shame then a old prostitute services her clients. For all the "Glory to the Ukraine, to the Heroes Glory!" slogans, the Ukies are the cheapest prostitutes on the planet with no self-respect whatsoever.

The entire speech had a Disney-like feel to it: on one side, the forces of Light, lead by the USA in white shining armor and on the other, the forces of Darkness, lead by Russia crawling out of the Asian steppes like Lovecraft's Chtuhlu. Infantile to the extreme, the purpose of the speech was to induce a planetary war against Russia and her allies or, at the very least, to contain that 21st century Mordor. 

Poroshenko went as far as referring to now completely disproved lies (such as Russia invading Georgia in 2008) and hinting that Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Baltic States, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria. could/would be next. Clearly the main can lie with an ease which any used car salesman would envy.

Then there is the issue of the standing ovations. Less than Obama and less than Netanyahu, but still a lot (12 I think). The Imperial Senators appeared to stand longer and clap harder each time Poroshenko drifted off into some kind of crazy nonsense. A scary sight, really.

Now we all know who runs the US Congress (AIPAC) so what this is, really, is a declaration of war by AIPAC and the Zionist faction of the AngloZionist Empire. The Anglos are far less enthusiastic as shown by Obama's refusal to send weapons to the Ukies. Just like in 2008 and that other lunatic - Saakashvili - I get the feeling that there might be a lot of behind the scenes Neocon "parallel diplomacy" going on. If not, why would Obama's bosses tell Poroshenko to ask for weapons they don't want to give him in the first place? My guess is that there is a lot of reluctance in the Pentagon and possibly in the intelligence community to get the USA fully committed behind a regime which might not be around in a few months.

Whatever may be the case, Poroshenko's speech felt like an infantile but nasty declaration of war. Clearly, there are those who are very concerned that peace might break out.

Obama has refused to arm Poroshenko’s Nazis – for now. But this could change any day with the Democrats in full desperation mode to avoid losing the Senate in November.
