Obama’s Chickens Coming Home to Roost in Kiev

While having lunch at a local eatery on Thursday, the television was on and the area news channel was spewing the same lies and State Department talking points on the vilified Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The patrons at the lunch counter were all staring into the electronic crackpipe as they mentally digested the daily dispersal of bullshit as I nearly choked on my 5.99 blue plate special meatloaf. Things have never been what they are sold as in Ukraine, anyone who is inclined to stay informed can easily do so in the era of the internet and social media. But despite the overwhelming propaganda that has been disbursed in the insane and desperate efforts to shore up the useless Cold War dinosaur NATO and wage a neocon concocted proxy war against Putin, events in Ukraine appear on the brink of getting very interesting.

Journalist Michael Collins, in a piece published at OpEd News entitled “Fascists Units and Regular Army Head for Kiev-Maidan Anti Gov Protests” writes of events on the ground as defeated junta troops and fascist thugs are returning to Kiev in droves. They are angry that US-EU-NATO Axis of Aggression backed junta has betrayed them. I excerpt the following at length from his excellent piece:

Ukraine may be headed for another round of Maidan Square protests that dwarf those seen in February. Regular army soldiers and special fascist punisher battalions are leaving the battle field with a very bad attitude toward the government of United States puppet, President Petro Poroshenko.

Things are not going well for the United States backed government in Kiev, Ukraine. Early last week, President Poroshenko spoke confidently of wrapping up the so-called Anti Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the eastern part of the country by August 24, Ukraine's independence day. Instead of a victory parade after pummeling the large eastern cities of Donetsk and Lugansk into the ground, eastern resistance forces upstaged the Kiev celebration. The militia of the Donetsk Peoples Republic marched captured Kiev army troops down the main street of that city in their own independence celebration. Poroshenko's conquest was foiled.

By the end of August, the Ukraine central government could no longer deny significant military losses at the hands of the resistance in the eastern part of the country. Thousands of government troops have been trapped in resistance cauldrons. Army forces face a stark choice: surrender and hand over your weapons and equipment or attempt to fight your way out and die. In the Southern Cauldron, most of the six thousand Ukraine troops were injured, killed, or surrendered. That process has repeated itself over the past few weeks in other battles and cauldrons.

As Kiev's military disaster became more evident, President Poroshenko spoke of a Russian invasion, at least that's what the mainstream media tried to sell us. However, this was an exaggeration based on a translation error or misunderstanding. The Kiev government needs the Russian bogeyman to explain the rapid change from promised military victories to resounding defeats at Krasnyi Luch, Ilovaysk, Lugansk, and Donetsk.

While Poroshenko blames the Russians and the U.S. and EU shamelessly echo the allegations of a Russian invasion before their NATO meeting, the soldiers of the Ukraine have their own strongly held beliefs. This documentary news footage reveals makes clear the depth of the feelings of betrayal. They're angry and they plan to join the protest already underway in Kiev's Maidan Square, the sight of the violent riots that chased the elected President of Ukraine across the border to Russia.

Protests in Maidan Square in early August turned violent. That action was quelled and the square was cleared of protesters, to some extent, by August 9. Quickly, people returned to protest the failed policies of the government.

The threat of real army troops joining the protests may spell the end of the U.S. backed Poroshenko government. It has the potential to turn the capital into a bloodbath far in excess of anything seen in the lead up to the U.S. backed coup of late February.

A commentator pointed out that the original protesters committed acts of violence with fires, rocks, and anything they could get their hands on to literally beat Kiev security forces. This time, the protesters will have guns.

Nazis have historically found the old “stabbed in the back” fairy tale to be particularly useful in justifying their violence. They are heading to Kiev now, bloodied and humiliated by an insurgency that was largely motivated by survival and they are pissed. It is an interesting play on the finale of William L. Shirer’s classic history of the Nazis which started off with “The war came home to Germany”. Just substitute “Kiev” for “Germany” and enjoy the show as mobs will again fill the Maiden only this time it will be the asses of the U.S. puppets Arseniy  “Yats” Yatsenyuk and Petro “the Chocolate King” Poroshenko whose heads they will want mounted on pikes.

Obama and his neocon infested State Department have really created a mess in Ukraine and El Presidente's stopover at the great NATO conference this week continues to underline the fact that one of the U.S. chief executive's critical job requirements is to pimp for American defense contractors. Just like in the great Nicholas Cage movie "Lord of War" in the critical scene where Cage's international arms dealer Yuri Orlov explains to Agent Jack Valentine who has appears to have finally got his man: "..the biggest arms dealer in the world is your boss, the President of the United States, who ships more merchandise in a day than I do in a year."  This is what Barry is slumming around with Eurotrash like Fogh Anders Rasmussen and his ilk for, it's just more out front now - and then there is of course the golf course. The pigs of NATO are conveniently holding their big whoop-de-do this year at the Celtic Manor Golf Resort where they can spend plenty of time jacking-each other off between holes.

Friday also was the day that a cease fire agreement was reached in Ukraine, seems like Porshenko is ready to cry uncle and start planning his escape before the rabble is surrounding his palace. Both he and that chicken-legged little twit "Yats" are likely in full Martin Bormann mode because hell is coming back to the Maiden. I excerpt again from Collins' excellent piece “Fascists Units and Regular Army Head for Kiev-Maidan Anti Gov Protests”:

The head of Right Sector, one of the fascist political organizations, announced that today his party would join the Maidan protests demanding accountability from the standing government for shortcomings that contributed to defeats in the east. Just two weeks ago, Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh, had called for protests in Maidan as a result of discrimination against his organization. Yarosh was the protest leader who lead the refusal to honor the deal that would have ended the February Maidan protests peacefully.

Right Sector's Azov Battalion is one of several punitive battalions attacking civilian centers in the eastern Ukraine. Aidar, Dnepr, and Donbass are other punitive battalions. As George Eliason pointed out in his first hand account of events in Novorussia (i.e. eastern Ukraine), the punitive battalions perform a Punisher/Cleansing function "from village to village and city to city after [they are] cleared of militia. Their only purpose has been the mutilation and mass murder of defenseless, unarmed people" (OpEdNews.com Sep 2). These are the very troops leaving the battle front in the east, carrying their weapons with them, to join the new Maidan protests.

The courageous George Eliason, an American who lives in Ukraine has provided in his latest dispatch a good idea of the type of sadistic vermin and scum that are coming home to Papa Poroshenko in his piece "My Encounter with Ukrainian-American Nazi Mark Paslawsky: What He Died For" which is also at OpEd News along with George's other fine work. In his piece George describes the harrowing situation in Ukraine, which is nothing like the electronic sewage that is fed to Americans by a corrupt, corporate state media. In particular the "punisher" units that Collins writes of. I excerpt from Mr. Eliason:

The Donbas Battalion and Symeon Sementchenko are not regular army, nor have they been directly involved in heavy combat until recently. Donbas battalion is a Punisher/ Cleansing Battalion that goes from village to village and city to city after it is cleared of militia. Their only purpose has been the mutilation and mass murder of defenseless, unarmed people.

In my articles updating the events of the war I have mentioned the mass murder, torture, and mutilation Sementchenko's Donbas battalion has left in its wake on a number of occasions. It is responsible for cutting the hands and feet off live people before killing them.

In the village of Snowy they took males age 14-60 suspected of sympathizing with the referendum or militia (now Novo Russiya Army) into the street and shot them in cold blood. They routinely tortured people for information. In the town of Friendly, the Donbas battalion shot into the houses and murdered everyone they thought were sympathetic to the referendum.

In early July, Oleg Dube, one of Donbass Battalions more committed volunteers fighting "separatists" had a falling out with Sementchenko because of the murder and cowardice displayed by the battalion in Nikolaeka. On his facebook page on July 7th he wrote : When they entered Nikolaevka, there were only unarmed townspeople there. They knew going in there was no militia. He describes the battalion filled with cowards shooting everything that moved and throwing grenades into the houses, cellars, and every structure, killing everyone and everything they came across.

Sementchenko attested to the authenticity himself by posting his answer to Oleg Dube. "Who is in the Military Prosecutor's Office? In wartime such allegations are unacceptable. Religious strife in the battalion will not be tolerated." He then stated that if people believed it, they were losing the information war.

Oleg Dube was arrested and detained in Izyumske. Later on to make a point to the battalion, Sementchenko reportedly made him kneel in front of the battalion and urinated on him.

The grotesque nature of the neo-Nazi murderers and torturerss that the Obama administration has backed is a shameful blot on the pissed-away for chump change legacy of this once great country. Not even Bush and Cheney ever went so far as to back neo-Nazis as Obama has but when a top adviser is the psychotic anti-Russian fanatic Zbigniew Brzezinski it is not hard to understand how a man with no soul like Obama could be the U.S. president who would bring back the horrors of Nazism to Europe.

And where in the fuck are those satellite images of the shooting down of MH17?

Establishment Begins Building the Case Against Putin

You have to give it to the extremists that run the US government war machine these days, they are predictable to a fault. The morning after the apparent shootdown of a Malaysian Airlines passenger jet over Ukraine (once again, why was a commercial airliner routed over a war zone?) the warmongers are out with a vengeance in building their ongoing case against Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Putin's grave offenses have been (1) presiding over a government that dared to save NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden from a US torture chamber (2) intervening to stop what would have been a devastating air attack on the regime of Syrian leader Bashar al Assad who was blamed for a to this day unsolved use of sarin gas on civilians (3) working to facilitate an end to economic sanctions against Iran for their alleged nuclear program (4) not accepting the illegally installed US backed, neo-Nazi infested coup in Ukraine (5) refusing to bow to the demands of crazy old Uncle Scam therefore risking becoming an example of one who successfully stands up to a bully.

The lurid tales that have been churned out of the propaganda machine like so many sausage links made of tainted rat meat have duped already stupid and fear-addled Americans into accepting that Putin is some malevolent evil force out of a Marvel comics series and now with the downed airliner - the earthly manifestation of Mephistopheles himself. Sadly it will be gobbled up by the American common folk who will ultimately be the ones who foot the bill for the coming disaster of our warped foreign policy - just like they always do.

Leading point for the wrapping of the blame of the downing of MH-17 around the Russian leader's neck like the noose applied before the lynching are the usual vermin and scum that have risen to the apex of the rotten to the core and now bordering on biblical evil US government that lives high in the kingdom of Washington. Vice President Joe Biden rapidly identified the air disaster as a missile attack as though he already knew the answer - the veep is hardly one who is unbiased in the Ukrainian matter given his son landed a plum job with the country's largest gas company - which he likely did. Old blood and guts, Senator John McCain was bellowing his usual bullshit and crying for war - has there ever been a stronger argument for euthanasia? But the deal was sealed when none other than Queen Hillary the Inevitable, our historic first woman president in waiting let it rip on the Charlie Rose show last night. As in the Bush era, the "facts" were being fixed around the policy and the policy as it was even before this primo excuse for a war of some type against Russia have always been preordained.

The war propaganda and campaign of relentless demonization will pick up today and escalate to a thundering and rousing, flag-wrapped crescendo by the time that the usual assortment of freaks, stooges and war criminals are rolled out for the Sunday morning "news" shows. The warmonger's gazette, The Washington Post is pounding the war drums loudly already as the sun rises on Friday from the neocon bunker of their editorial page with a call to arms "The world must know whose weapon destroyed a passenger plane" - which anyone who has seen what the monsters running the USA!, USA!, USA! since September 11, 2001 already knows. The reports from the illegitimate occupying government in Kiev are taken as gospel by the state-corporate media and the "proof" will assuredly be provided and be as damning as the aerial photos of Saddam's mobile chemical weapons labs. I excerpt from WAPO:

In recent days there has been abundant evidence of Russia stepping up supplies of heavy weapons to rebels in eastern Ukraine, including advanced anti-aircraft systems. The Kiev government reported that two of its military aircraft were shot down in the past week, either by separatists, Russian planes or batteries operating from across the border. On Thursday came a greater tragedy: the destruction of a Malaysia Airlines passenger jet with 295 people aboard. Ukrainian authorities charged that it had been struck by a missile fired by a Russian-made surface-to-air battery supplied to Moscow’s Ukrainian proxies.

If the reports are confirmed, the Ukrainian separatists and their sponsors in Moscow will be responsible for a heinous crime. The United States and its allies must insist that those responsible be held accountable — including those in the Kremlin. [TRANSLATION: PUTIN]

First the word of "Ukranian authorities" and the "Kiev government" are not to be believed or trusted, this is a US installed puppet regime packed with thugs, crooks, fascists, neo-Nazis and led by a corrupt oligarch whose fondness for Hitlerian statements of total retaliation to avenge the deaths of military forces killed by anti-austerity, anti-fascist federalists defending against ethnic cleansing indicated a depth of moral depravity that makes it easy to see why the US State Department and Obama regime back him. The WAPO screed goes on:

The White House continues to avoid measures that could inflict crushing damage on the Russian financial system and force Mr. Putin and the elites around him to choose between aggression in Ukraine and Russia’s economic future. Wednesday’s measures stop two banks from obtaining long-term debt financing in U.S. markets, but the treasury has not excluded those banks from the financial system nor taken measures against the largest banks. Though its bank was sanctioned, the energy operations of Gazprom, Russia’s giant, remain untouched.

Even before the tragic loss of the Malaysian plane, it ought to have been clear to the West that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine could not be overlooked or wished away. It is both criminal and intolerable and should be treated accordingly.

That is about as obvious a call to arms- even if it results in a civilization destroying nuclear war - as it gets but this is the depth of the systemic rot in our now fully amok and globally despised empire. The very least that the WAPO is calling for seems to be the dropping of what has been referred to as the "financial neutron bomb" which would in essence be an act of war. But war is what the establishment needs and has refashioned US society around as a the cornerstone for our continued existence - it is lucrative, keeps the bewildered herd in line with the ongoing worship of the flag and the state and most of all it is damned good politics in the permanent election cycle.

The feeding frenzy begins but the obvious blame lies with Obama himself because had he not presided over the original sin of the coup d'etat in Kiev then there would have been no war zone and the passengers of MH-17 would be alive today. The emperor not only has blood on his hands but it would not be a surprise if he bathes in it on a daily basis.

Meanwhile Back in the Colony of Ukraine

The neocon Ukraine propaganda onslaught abated slightly over the past week more than likely due to the sheer overkill of the shrill emissions from the state-corporate media propaganda organs. One could also suspect that the leakage of the truth that the US taxpayers are being forced to back an illegally installed coup government filled with neo-Nazis had a bit to do with it. With the murder of Right Sector leader Oleksandr Muzychko aka Sashko Bily by police bringing threats of reprisals from the western backed thugs who provided the muscle during the hijacked street protests it was time to clean up the riff raff before the narrative spun out of control. This coming immediately on the heels of a viral internet video of sitting members of the new government attacking and beating a state television executive in his office.  While the unelected regime of Arseny “Yats” Yatseniuk was locking down the spoils from the coming IMF ruination of Ukraine’s public services, looting of pensions and crushing austerity it was time to clean up the rabble.

The retrenchment of the Neocon-EU-NATO axis of evil and the propaganda machine has been launched as the Night of the Long Knives style purge continues. The newly installed "Yats" has now formally accused the ousted elected President Viktor Yanukovych for personally being responsible for that mysterious sniper fire that provided the impetus for his overthrow and the installation of the current puppet regime. Not only that but that Russian forces had acted as accomplices -just watch this morph into Putin's personal involvement once the spin evolves and is fed through the Washington Post echo chamber.

First of all who in the fuck would believe a tool like "Yats" who has an obvious agenda and was backed by neo-Nazi muscle as well as covert western operatives - other than TV addled, stupid American zombies that is. Note how the star-spangled lemming farm that is our Idiocracy establishment media just trotted out the perfect example of why we are truly fucked in his once great country as we descend into our future as slaves on the banana republic that is Uncle Sam's plantation. None other than that shining example of societal retardation that is Sarah Palin was trotted out to the delight of millions of ignoramuses on the Jimmy Fallon version of Tonight Show for a lowbrow skit to bash the hated Putin before a national audience, it was vintage propaganda for the low-hanging fruit and from the reviews it was a record harvest. You have to hand it to the neocons and the Obama administration, they are relentless with their desire for a new Cold War, hell just look at the latest dirty trick of introducing a Cuban version of Twitter to finally pull off that regime change that has eluded the best and the brightest of the US political class for nearly sixty years now. 

Secondly,  just why has there not been an independent body of international officials drawn from nations outside of the particular US-EU-NATO sphere of influence to formally investigate who was responsible for the shootings? I think that you an guess what the answer to that one is. This all stinks in a manner that is reminiscent of that to this day unproven accusation of the Syrian president Bashar al Assad’s personal involvement in that hyped to the max by the state-corporate media gassing of those civilians in Ghouta last summer that nearly led to another US war in the Middle East.  Oh, and the same unelected, neo-Nazi packed Ukraine government has now through it's own investigation come to the conclusion that Sashko Bily shot himself.

You just can't make shit like this up.

The Neocon Propaganda Mill Churns On

The neocon infested propaganda mills continue to churn, not only spinning away the Svoboda party MP attack on Oleksandr Panteleymonov but in the rush to nail Putin to their cross of lies there are as many omissions as there are sleazy hit jobs. I do have to hand it to the neocons for their perseverance as well as a never-ending supply of chutzpah. The increasing shrill squeals of outrage emanating from our star spangled chorus of swine not only continues unabated but in one of those wonderful centralized talking points that usually get attached to economic tales of wonder is “picking up steam”. The Washington Post though is in a league of its own when it comes to pumping out the lies and propaganda which it does as though each hit piece were a link sausage stuffed with tainted skunk meat.

The crown jewel of Amazon honcho Jeff Bezos’ empire has ratcheted up the production line speed with the latest foray into ridiculousness being a nasty diatribe by chess master Garry Kasparov with yet one more of those amazingly creative titles “It’s Time to Stop Putin” from which I excerpt:

The next obstacle to stopping Putin is the self-imposed paralysis of the leaders of Europe and the Group of Seven. It is easier for them to say that there is nothing they can do to check Putin’s ambitions than to admit that they lack the courage to act. Putin keeps raising the stakes, and the West just keeps folding. There are plenty of levers available to apply pressure on Putin, but they require confronting several hard truths. And this is a generation of political leaders accustomed to telling citizens that it is possible to both cut taxes and spend more, to be free and be safe, to be a great power without ever using power.

AND

The first hard truth is that the only sanctions or other measures that would affect Putin’s conduct are those that, directly or indirectly, would target his hold on power. That is all Putin cares about, because he knows what happens when people in his position lose that grip. This is why a recent comment by Secretary of State John Kerry was precisely wrong. “We hope President Putin will recognize that none of what we’re saying is meant as a threat,” Kerry said. “It’s not meant in a personal way.” With one feeble remark, Kerry took off the table the only thing Putin cares about.

Obama repeated this mistake on Wednesday when he said that the United States would not send troops to defend Ukraine. Nobody was asking for troops, and Obama probably thinks he is defusing tensions. But where Obama sees a gesture of peaceful intent, Putin sees more weakness. To Putin, his opponent freely surrendered one of his greatest advantages: America’s overwhelming military strength. On Iran, on Syria and now regarding Ukraine, Obama has outsourced his foreign policy to Putin and, in so doing, has crippled the power of his office in ways that will long outlast his White House tenure.

While Kasparov speaks fluent neocon which is obvious by the insane level of sheer bellicosity of his screed it will be as pearls before swine because this is after all America and nobody really gives a rats ass about fucking chess. The NFL and NASCAR are king in this macho, war-saturated collection of superstitious religious fanatics, hard core homophobes, gun-totin’ Duck Dynasty types and neo-Confederate dumbasses who think that chess is for fags and pussies and that real men don’t waste their time on such endeavors. Now if the WaPo can dig up some disgruntled former Russian pro football player or distill all of that crap down and put it on the side of a race car it would resonate more with the demographic that the neocons so desperately need to get riled up as shock troops for the November mid-term elections. The WaPo has truly descended into the depths of parody and is little more than FOX News for people who bother to read but the more time that is devoted to the anti-Putin onslaught the more that the venue begins to resemble something more like Der Stürmer which would be apropos given the support pumped out for the neo-Nazis in Kiev. 

What is more troubling however is the flip side of the rabble rousing to topple the Putin regime is the complete absence of any serious discussion of what the consequences may be in terms of the ongoing economic sanctions that Obama keeps pushing. Russia isn’t Iran and there is going to be a very real and serious counter-response at some point. Europe is heavily dependent on Russian gas exports and there is already a restiveness afflicting the EU over how rapidly that this disaster is spinning out of control. Mr. Putin could quite simply cut off the gas which would delight American energy corporations already salivating over the prospect of exporting the bounty of domestic gas provided by the fracking boom. Obama may even be tempted to tap into the national strategic petroleum reserves to send it to Europe which should result in his immediate impeachment and subsequent removal from office but any such move would be greeted with the overwhelming bipartisan support that typically is bestowed upon the American war machine.

Putin is already reaching out to China for an alliance that has President Obama sufficiently rattled that he has juggled his coming schedule where he will be attempting to piece together another of those coalitions of the willing to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping at The Hague (the sheer irony of that one is delightful) to prostate himself before our top provider of funding. Despite the vast military superiority of the American Empire the wars of the future (and perhaps the present) will be fought through economics and the prospect of Putin cutting a deal with the Chinese who continue to keep the US economy on life support would be very problematic. Imagine what would happen if Russia and China dropped the dollar – you would need the proverbial wheelbarrow full of Reichmarks to buy a loaf of fucking bread as the entire house of cards would collapse. Not that the economic destruction of the imperial war machine would be a bad thing but with the collection of idiots, loose-cannons, narcissists and warmongers currently in charge they may counter any such move by punching in the nuclear launch codes.

None of this is ever offered up as a topic of debate because we no longer have such a thing in The Homeland nor would there be much participation if we did given the triumph of the willfully ignorant.

The US government and the media is lying about everything and the bigger the lies, the more that Obama's overly sensitive pride is tweaked and the more that the entire establishment continues to go 'all in' and push all of the chips to the center of the table this latest orgy of national brainwashing will continue.
