Cops Execute Yet Another Dog in Front of Owner

One of the more disturbing elements of the rise of the locked and loaded American police state is the ongoing killing of pets in front of their owners. With the militarizing of law enforcement and the impunity with which police now are allowed to operate, the death toll of dogs continues to mount. Family pets are being gunned down by government goons coated in black Kevlar so frequently that the practice has actually been given a formal name: "puppycide".

Hulking cops adorned with heavy body armor are more frequently turning their firepower on hapless four-legged targets. It is quite the force multiplier when a beloved small animal is blown into chunks of fur and bloody red meat in front of a terrified owner when only moments before the paramilitary goons arrived had considered the little critter to be a family member. Given the number of children who bear witness to "puppycide" there may even be bonus points awarded if a youngster is present. The execution of pets  is right up there with the actions of Nazi stormtroopers when it comes to sadistic cruelty and is indicative of a very dangerous individual who has been armed and empowered by the state. Often they are military veterans whose initial training was conducted for service in a foreign war zone.

Watchdog website Police State USA reports in a story entitled  "Family pet shot in the head by plainclothes cops searching at wrong address" details of the latest "puppycide" [warning:graphic image included].  I excerpt the following from the story:

Megan Shimburski, 25, was spending a quiet afternoon with her children at her parents’ countryside East Concord residence on July 25, 2014. It was a normal day, she said, which involved watching her 5-year-old daughter play behind the house with their dog, as her infant son lied in a playpen inside the house.

Ms. Shimburski’s parents, John Shimburski and Martha Spaulding, were not at home when the day turned to chaos.

At around 2:00 p.m., Ms. Shimburski recalled that she ducked inside the house for a moment to use the restroom. She became alerted to something occurring when the family’s two dogs began barking; one was inside and one was outside the house.

Ms. Shimburski said that she looked out the window and saw two vehicles parked outside — a car and an SUV — along with unidentified men, one of whom had a gun drawn.

Panicked, she rushed outside toward danger to attend to her daughter, Makenna, who was accompanied by “Lady,” a 2-year-old Brindle Pit Bull.

“I heard 2 shots fired, and Lady yelp, and my daughter scream,” Ms. Shimburski told Police State USA.

Meanwhile Lady, described as a “67-pound big baby,” was hiding under the deck, covered in blood. A bullet had traveled through the tissue on her head, neck, and shoulder. A large, open gash allowed blood to pour down her face into her eyes and nose. It was a shocking sight for the family.

“The officer stated that he had just ‘grazed’ her, and that she would be fine,” Ms. Shimburski recalled. “I looked at him and said, ‘You did not graze her!!’ His words were, ‘I didn’t mean to GRAZE her.’”

The shooter — [later identified as Erie County Sheriff's Detective Greg McCarthy] — claimed he shot in self-defense because the dog was “charging and barking.” Ms. Shimburski says that he exaggerated the dog’s actions and the distance he was standing from her when he fired.  No one was bitten or in danger, she said, and the dog was coming from the back to the front of the house to investigate the strange visitors.

“My child could have been shot,” Ms. Shimburski said to Police State USA. “She now has the idea that these people who were there to protect people are bad people,” and added that she may need counseling. “I stated that not all cops are bad but at this point I don’t think she’s going to trust them.”

The kicker is that the cops were not even at the right address. As far as Ms. Shimburski's comments on the child not trusting the cops that really is not the objective behind "puppycide", it is to make it clear to the citizenry that cops are to be feared. Nothing quite sends that message like busting a cap or two into the family dog. This time it was the plain clothes dicks but often it is a SWAT team kicking down the door and using military style flash grenades. This is a very sick period in American history that we currently live in. This is particularly so with the societal worship of uniforms and authority, one can correctly say that it is nothing short of fascist.

This is by no means an attempt to denigrate or smear all police officers.  I would like to believe that the majority of cops  are decent folks tasked with doing an often violent, messy and thankless job. Typical police officers often encounter people during their worst moments and for the most part are dedicated professionals. The paramilitary types are the problem as well as the sanctioning of the state placed upon search and destroy style tactics of law enforcement better suited for battlefields than American cities.
When the federal government ensures that there is a constant flow of money and military grade equipment into tactical units of police departments it also ensures that a very specific type of police officer is attracted to these units. The violence and the contempt for the law, the sheer ability to dominate the helpless with impunity is what leads to the cruelty and the shoot first and ask questions later or better yet, a dead men tell no tales mentality.

There is really no way to stop this either, it has become embedded into our national DNA, our very own form of apple pie authoritarianism and it is only going to continue to get worse.

The notorious and legendary Nazi propagandist Paul Joseph Goebbels would be in sheer awe of the crackerjack information warfare capabilities of the US state-corporate media seventy years after he committed suicide in the bowels of  Der Fuhrer’s bunker as the allies roared into Berlin. Goebbels, like all of the historic greats at a particular profession often build their life’s work upon others who inspired them, in his case it was the famous American father of the public relations industry Edward Bernays and as the fine art of manufacturing consent was honed and meshed with technology it is apparent that Goebbels is the inspiration and model for the modern US media.

The post September 11, 2001 era of The Homeland has brought many things to America including the unchaining of the government from the US Constitution under the pretenses of safety, the forced imposition upon the citizenry of a massive surveillance apparatus, the militarization of law enforcement personnel and the very real possibility that children born since that day will never know a life without perpetual war. None of it would have been possible were the domestic media not fully complicit with their cheerleading for attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan and later Iran, Syria, Ukraine and now in what could end up being a mass national suicide - a war with nuclear power Russia.

With the state-corporate propaganda machine fully mobilized for a week of withering, anti-Russian demagoguery from the political class - Orwell's "Two Minutes Hate" broadcast 24/7 by a legion of corrupt operatives Secretary of State John Kerry embarked upon a saturation bombing campaign, hitting all five major Sunday morning "news" shows to spew the lies of the warfare state. The last time that the Skull and Bones alumni who holds the position of Obama's top diplomat hit for the Sunday morning cycle was during a similar dishonest expulsion of fibs after that mysterious sarin gas attack on civilians in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta. The attack that both Kerry and Obama definitively claimed to have proof of but as chronicled by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh - in his two pieces that are censored in the obscenity that is The Homeland,  "Whose Sarin?" and the "The Red Line and the Rat Line" - was total bullshit.

In feeding the lie machine, Goebbels’ ideological descendants in Kiev continue to generate the lurid tales that are then fed into the US ministry of propaganda that is the state-corporate media, popping up in brand name outlets like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post and then cemented into the narrative on Sunday morning television which then disseminates them to low-information types and brainwashed sheep here on the great star-spangled lemming farm.  To anyone who has been paying attention to the US backed coup d'etat, subsequent campaign of ethnic cleansing, the bogus election of Petro "Porky" Poroschenko aka "the chocolate king" and the pulverizing of civilian areas by the US backed Ukranian military everything and I mean everything that comes out of the junta in Kiev is horseshit and the immediate rush to pin the downing of MH17 on Putin was so transparently choreographed that it reeks of a false flag operation.

While Kerry was selling his tale of Russian responsibility for the downed jetliner (what the fuck was it doing flying over a war zone in the first place is the question that I can't stop asking myself but the media never bothers asking it) there was much support from the most consistently dishonest, bloodthirsty, shrill, venal and contemptible gaggle of traitors in the US Congress in providing support for his allegations minus any real evidence. Today's circuit featured a who's who of American political scum and vermin such as Senators Robert Menendez, Ted Cruz, Dianne Feinstein, Lindsey Graham, Bob Corker and extremist House committee bosses Mike Rogers, Micheal McCaul and Peter King all of whom like Obama and Kerry belong in the dock at The Hague.

One of the most prolific critics of the radical transformation of the United States of America into the decidedly un-American "Homeland" post 9/11 is former Reagan administration Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, Wall Street Journal editor and economist Dr .Paul Craig Roberts. Roberts' most recent column on the truth in regards to MH 17 is entitled " What Happened to the Malaysian Airliner?" and I excerpt the following from his piece:

Washington’s propaganda machine is in such high gear that we are in danger of losing

the facts that we do have.

One fact is that the separatists do not have the expensive Buk anti-aircraft missile system or the trained personnel to operate it.

Another fact is that the separatists have no incentive to shoot down an airliner and neither does Russia. Anyone can tell the difference between low-flying attack aircraft and an airliner at 33,000 feet.

The Ukrainians do have Buk anti-aircraft missile systems, and a Buk battery was operational in the region and deployed at a site from which it could have fired a missile at the airliner.

Just as the separatists and the Russian government have no incentive to shoot down an airliner, neither does the Ukrainian government nor, one would think, even the crazed extreme Ukrainian nationalists who have formed militias to take the fight against the separatists that the Ukrainian army is not keen to undertake–unless there was a plan to frame Russia.

One Russian general familiar with the weapon system offered his opinion that it was a mistake made by the Ukrainian military untrained in the weapon’s use. The general said that although Ukraine has a few of the weapons, Ukrainians have had no training in their use in the 23 years since Ukraine separated from Russia. The general thinks it was an accident due to incompetence.

This explanation makes a certain amount of sense and far more sense than Washington’s propaganda. The problem with the general’s explanation is that it does not explain why the Buk anti-aircraft missile system was deployed near or in a separatist territory. The separatists have no aircraft. It seems odd for Ukraine to have an expensive missile system in an area in which it is of no military use and where the position could be overrun and captured by separatists.

As Washington, Kiev, and the presstitute media are committed to the propaganda that Putin did it, we are not going to get any reliable information from the US media. We will have to figure it out for ourselves.

Just as the man says - there will be no "reliable information from the US media", there never is anymore as the state has been weaponized against the people who theoretically - at least according to that now obsolete concept of "democracy" are able to exercise self-determination in choosing their leaders and by extension the course of their nation. Only the schmucks actually buy into that anymore and it is far easier to live in a sense of blissful ignorance and denial than to look at the horror of what the fully run amok US government has now become in the waning days of semi-normalcy before the shit completely hits the fan.

Deranged Peter King Accuses NY Times of Terrorist Appeasement

In an epic meltdown the crazed Peter King unloaded on the New York Times for daring to suggest that former government contractor Booz-Allen-Hamilton employee turned NSA leaker Edward Snowden be granted clemency. Long a target of the insane authoritarian demographic that has seized control of the Republican party and conducted a Stalinist style purge of the rational the Times has now become the target of the demagogues pushing to protect their beloved NSA surveillance apparatus. King appeared on Fox News (where else?) in the immediate aftermath of the Times OpEd to spew his rancid bile just as he does when he is conducting his neo-McCarthyist tribunals on taxpayer funds to promote anti-Muslim hatred and stir up fear in order for the surveillance state programs that his type need to go after their massive enemies list. Were King a patriotic American (which he is not) he would use his position as the Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security to investigate the enemies within the system that have been waging war on the constitution since September 11, 2001. This country will never fall to foreign enemy despite the hysterics from lunatics like King and his ilk about a Muslim fifth column and the implementation of Sharia Law but it will be eaten from within by the termites that are the fascist thugs and their pathological obsession for control of everything.

The catalogue of King’s fanatic ravings is already voluminous and the second congressional district out on Long Island should do the rest of the country a favor come November and vote this national disgrace of a politician out of office. He should have no problems finding some local beer hall from which to spew his venom from.  The following excerpt is from a story from the ‘Inside Baseball’ beltway website Politico and sums up King’s comments to the Foxosphere:

"Their editorial today and their whole pattern over the last several years, they’ve really made themselves a blame-America-first rag as far as I’m concerned, and why we exalt The New York Times is beyond me," the New York Republican said on Fox News. "They go out of their way to be apologists for terrorists and go after those in law enforcement and military who are trying to win this war."

King, who has long been a defender and proponent of the National Security Agency, called the editors "a disgrace" and said he wishes they "cared more about America than they did about the rights of terrorists' appeasers." King said NSA programs do not violate the privacy of Americans and that lives are saved because of them.

“And yet, The New York Times races to Mr. Snowden’s defense. They don’t care about American lives being lost," King said. "They have this narrow, liberal, left-wing ideological point of view. They did it to the NYPD; they’re trying to do it to the NSA."

"It’s time for Americans to stand up and reject The New York Times and expose them for the rag that they are."

People like this are the reason that Thorazine was invented.

King’s tirade even one upped washed up right-wing pundit Ann Coulter’s anti-NYT comment that “My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building”. Interestingly this sort of thinking seems to be quite pervasive with certain personality types to whose deviance only allows them to  recognize violence and repression as an answer to all problems, they actually have a good deal in common with real terrorists.  Peter King himself was for a long time an ardent supporter of actual terrorists, the provisional wing of the Irish Republican Army that murdered innocent women and children.

It could be said that the strongest argument yet to be made for dismantling the NSA programs are the figures who have come out in defense of them. Just as Snowden said, such systems would present a regime with even more contempt for the constitution than Obama or Bush-Cheney to use them for the worst purposes imaginable. Turnkey totalitarianism was the term that I believe that the now obviously patriotic whistleblower used and a man like Peter King were he to have the ability, particularly given his history of virulent anti-Muslim bigotry would relish combing through the data accumulated by the NSA to personally put together the pickup lists and begin the inquisitions.

Godwin’s Law be damned, the only way to truly describe Peter King is that the man is a full blown Nazi.

Obama Circles the Wagons to Defend American Stasi

This week’s informal congressional hearings that were to have been held as a forum for NSA critics were called off according to Guardian journalist Glenn Greenwald who was to appear via video link, likely to avoid falling victim to an extraordinary rendition. The hearing was cancelled due to El Presidente Obama's choosing to meet with ever feckless and corrupt House Democrats and their leader Nancy Pelosi. The pope of hope's presence was to reassure, cajole, threaten and lie his ass off to put down the jackass party's insurgent contingent that supported the Justin Amash LIBERT-E Act amendment. The absolute last thing that the establishment, especially the debauched Obama regime wants is any chance that the truth gets our and that legitimate privacy concerns over the NSA spying and warehousing of data be addressed. It is a damned shame because you could really see some momentum growing, the proverbial worm was turning and psychopathic voyeurs like General Keith Alexander and the serial prevaricator James Clapper were starting to panic. Alexander the great was grabbing headlines (again) by showing up and speaking at a hacker's convention where he defended that which is indefensible and unconstitutional. He did face a few hecklers but they were far outnumbered by potential future employees hoping to hitch a ride on the fascist gravy train.

Prefacing a week of spin and propaganda It was launched by yet another anonymous government source that the Ameican Stasi would declassify data on surveillance programs (only not the good stuff) to falsely present a new openness and not risk breaking the slumber of the lemmings and sheep. The double-dealing Obama also is seeking to line up support for his latest version of the "Grand Bargain" where more tax cuts will be given to job destroying corporations, likely the same ones that have been offshoring American jobs to low wage third world shitholes for over a decade now. Obama never ceases to amaze with his serpentine ability to not get pinned down along with his shamanism used to maintain his hypnotic control over loyalists while he continues to bestow government favoritism in the truest manner of 21st century American crony capitalism. By torpedoing the informal hearing Obama is buying time by stalling until this every worthless member of this putrid Congress can slither out of Washington for yet another five week vacation, all on the taxpayer dole too - nice work if you can get it.

Thursday morning, assisted by a blatant and criminally complicit media there was the launch of a public relations offensive as the administration made a big show out of rolling out the previously heralded and now declassified NSA documents which contained nothing new. The message was to be that this onerous rogue regime really does respect the constitution and protect the civil liberties of the American people and that it was just a matter of "a number of technical compliance problems". This is of course a variation of the a few bad apples defense that is inevitably invoked whenever government, corporate and high finance are caught breaking the rules. Without having to worry about Greenwald in front of a congressional panel and with the already in the bag Senate conducting it's own hearing it was a day for the chief executive and his goons to make hay. Leave it to Greenwald who broke another huge story in The Guardian revealing even more invasive NSA spying techniques to be the fly in the ointment and a constant pain in the ass to Obama and his minions.

The latest revelations are about a program called XKeyscore which can be (and is) used to track just about everything that anyone does on the internet. All online conversations are easily tracked without any serious oversight and queries can be made based on IP addresses, keywords, the type of browser used, phone number, websites frequented and all email monitored. The Guardian story also presented a number of official documents that provided instructions and touted the program's multi-faceted abilities to snoop on law abiding citizens which are then stored for some vague and ominous future usage by an outlaw state. Knowing full well that the latest story pissed on Obama's parade the White House dispatched chief flack Jay Carney to do what he is paid to do, spin. According to this piece at NBC News the "paid liar" dissembled that "some of the claims made in that article are false."  Per the piece the former Time Magazine Washington Bureau Chief and regular participant in the Beltway circle jerk went on that:

"As we've explained, and the intelligence community has explained, allegations of widespread, unchecked analyst access to NSA collection data are false," said White House spokesman Carney.
 "Access to all of NSA's analytic tools is limited to only those personnel who require access for their assigned tasks," he continued. "And there are multiple technical, manual and supervisory checks and balances within the system to prevent those who don't have access from achieving that access."

Really though, as a professional bullshitter Carney just offers up the same obfuscations, half-truths and standard redirections that any White House spokesperson does simply because his paycheck depends on covering his boss's ass. What Carney does not bother mentioning in his rebuttal of the Guardian story are the legions of government contractors who have top secret level access to NSA data ans what controls exist to prevent them from abusing it. The contractors operate with impunity and by all indications  have next to zero accountability. There is no oversight of any substance and a mega-billion dollar cash cow has been created (and now is protected) that has been incessantly milked by lobbying, funding political campaigns, preaching fear and is still expanding exponentially like a ravaging societal cancer. Greedy surveillance industry contractors hit the jackpot when history was reset and democracy vanished. Ever since their sheer luck that a pack of lunatics in airplanes smacked the gold-filled pinata on September 11, 2001 thereby justifying war and all of its offshoots the jackals have been groveling in money, stolen from the taxpayers and used to fund their own enslavement. The inflating of the post-9/11 security bubble is for the most part all based on hogwash, fear-mongering, the trotting out of bogeymen and the filling of political slots with the most morally vacant, money-grubbing sociopaths who have walked the earth since the last days of the USSR.

So of course they will defend their big con because it is their bread and butter. After all, they being Obama's stooges and the rest of the corrupt Congress and Judiciary will never have to be subjected to the secret police harassment, the judgement of secret courts, being disappeared without Habeas Corpus into a for profit gulag system that has as an appendage a foreign network of black site torture prisons. That stuff is for the little people, people like the rest of us. It is ironiic that so obvious was their greed though that the lax pre-employment screening practices of the notorious Booz Allen, so intent at packing their surveillance centers to gorge on taxpayer money. diverted away from necessary social and infrastructure programs that they hired a guy named Ed Snowden who turned out to be their worst fucking nightmare. This is a man of principle who was able to insert himself into the belly of the beast with the savvy of a seasoned intelligence operative/mole and to then purloin the crown jewels which he has since unleashed upon a world that had been for far too long bamboozled by flim flam men like Bush and Obama to jettison liberty for security. And it was all a series of lies delivered by a series of paid liars just like Mr. Carney.

Which brings me to another very, very serious question that has yet to be asked which is exactly what else is being done with all of that data and by whom? As is now evident with the lack of any sort of oversight on any of this how exactly does anyone know that the contractors or the NSA itself are engaged in their cloak and dagger operations are not also selling or providing information to other institutions? This is of course all not only being done for the bogus official reason of preventing terrorism, that has always been a crock and with the billions spent over the years given the number of so-called "terrorist plots" that the government has claimed to have been stopped the cost vs. benefit ratio is a massive failure. So what else is Obama's Stasi using this data for:

Is this data being provided/sold to corporations to provide a competitive advantage?

Is this data being provided/sold to the Federal Reserve to keep their Ponzi scheme going?

Is this data being provided/sold to foreign countries and their agents? Possibly even U.S. adversaries?

Is this data being provided/sold to actual criminal organizations to elude law enforcement?

Is this data being provided/sold to big banks that launder drug money for profits?

Is this data being provided/sold for the purposes of internal industrial espionage to political patrons?

Is this data being provided/sold or used for blackmail of politicians and other officials?

Is this data being provided/sold for the purposes of insider trading on the already rigged markets?

These questions need to be asked but don't count on the state media her in Der Homeland to ask them, as the legendary muckraker Upton Sinclair once so eloquently put it - "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it".  When you have an entire system where every institution has been corrupted, a history of crony capitalism, a failed political system, a debauched and corrupted economic system and a government that lies about everything (especially their surveillance) then it is easy for all but the simplest of rubes to smell a rat. In fact, I submit that this entire thing has the stench of an army of the disgusting rodents.
