Neocon Propagandist Accuses Texas “Right Wingers” of being Tools of Vladimir Putin

Since the onset of hostilities in Ukraine last winter, the Obama regime and the State Department have been churning out some real whoppers in order to juice arms sales to European client states. The reviled Russian leader Vladimir Putin has become America’s version of Emmanuel Goldstein and the shills in the media ministry of propaganda are eager to provide the woefully uninformed sheep with their “Two Minutes Hate” to jump start the Cold War.

The prime motivation behind foolishly instigating a conflict with a nuclear armed Russia always seems to have been based on profiteering from perpetual warfare at the expense of providing anything of value to Americans who are being screwed daily by their corrupt government. Now we have the greatest whopper of them all being fed into the media lie machine and it coincides perfectly with the Obama occupying government’s soon to be launched war on dissidents that is being piggybacked onto the national backlash against the Confederate flag. We are now being told to believe that Putin himself is behind the Texas secessionist movement and other dissident groups.

According to a story published by Politico Magazine entitled “Putin’s Plot to Get Texas to Secede” the Kremlin has infiltrated the Lone Star State in something that is so ludicrous that it would be shot down by Hollywood were it a movie script as being beyond belief. The piece, written by one of those payrolled hacks that are so often used ever since the laws against the U.S. government propagandizing its own people were quietly repealed two years ago is a real doozy. A masterpiece of bullshit that you practically need to wear a ventilator to slog through so odious is the piece.

I excerpt the following from “Putin’s Plot to Get Texas to Secede”:

Nathan Smith, who styles himself the “foreign minister” for the Texas Nationalist Movement, appeared last Spring at a far-right confab in St. Petersburg, Russia. Despite roaming around in his cowboy hat, Smith managed to keep a low-key presence at the conference, which was dominated by fascists and neo-Nazis railing against Western decadence. But at least one Russian newspaper, Vzglyad, caught up with the American, noted that TNM is “hardly a marginal group,”and quoted Smith liberally on the excellent prospects for a partial breakup of the United States. Smith declared that the Texas National Movement has 250,000 supporters—including all the Texans currently serving in the U.S. Army—and they all “identify themselves first and foremost as Texans” but are being forced to remain Americans.  The United States, he added, “is not a democracy, but a dictatorship.”  The Kremlin’s famed troll farms took the interview and ran with it, with dozens of bots instantly tweeting about a “Free Texas.”

For Russians, this was delicious payback. Since the breakup of the Soviet Union two decades ago, many Russians have come to blame the United States for their plight; a seething resentment over U.S. culpability in the loss of Russian national power is one of the reasons Vladimir Putin is so popular. It has only worsened since the United States has led an international effort to isolate and sanction Moscow over its annexation of Crimea and incursions into eastern Ukraine.

It’s unclear just how high up these propaganda efforts go in the Kremlin. But it can hardly be an accident that last December, in the midst of the ruble’s parlous plummet, Russian President Vladimir Putin lashed out at putative Western hypocrisy. “As soon as they succeed in putting [our bear] on a chain, they will rip out his teeth and his claws,” the president growled.

The think tank dweeb who wrote this steaming pile of horseshit is a guy named Casey Michel (rhymes with Michelle) who seems to have found his calling and the admission that “It’s unclear just how high up these propaganda efforts go in the Kremlin” is such vintage bullshit – unattributed sources, rank speculation – that it could have been uttered by Obama himself.

The entire thing can be read here but unless you have a high tolerance for bullshit you may want to stay away. It is a very interesting bit of timing in that Texans are antsy about what for all intents appears to be a live martial law exercise called Jade Helm that is about to go down. While the feds and their media propagandists have gone to great lengths to demonize anyone who questions Jade Helm as a crank, a tin foil hatter and a conspiracy theorist there is a long history of a fondness for martial law with the feds. It was after all Democratic party hero Franklin D. Roosevelt who rounded up innocent Japanese Americans during World War II, stripped them of their liberty and property and put them into internment camps. There were also programs like Lt. Colonel Oliver North’s REX 84 and God only knows what other sort of schemes have been drawn up for the day that the shit hits the fan.

So now it is really getting bad because once hostilities inevitably develop with Russia, and they are well on the way thanks to Obama’s lunatic Defense Secretary Ash Carter (can’t we bring back someone rational like Donald Rumsfeld?) who has been sliming around in Europe to sell American arms to NATO countries. Once Putin officially goes from being just a guy who humiliated Obama by forcing him to eat a shit sandwich with a vodka chaser by sinking the 2013 attack on Syria into the leader of a country that the U.S. is officially at war with what do you think is going to happen to Texas secessionists and those who dare to question operations like Jade Helm?

Pimping Death: Obama Goes to Europe

President Barack Obama has ducked out of the country at a convenient time to avoid the madness unleashed among the domestic authoritarian fascist demographic over the trade of five Taliban members from Gitmo for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. While the growing lynch mob that is being fully encouraged and abetted by Republican political operatives to maximize election year turnout resembling something that one would expect in 1933 Germany Mr. Obama is slinking around in Eastern Europe as America's top weapons salesman in using the trumped up Putin is rebuilding the Soviet Empire hoax to sell missile systems and other arms.

Fiction mirrors life as at the end of the movie "Lord of War" the Nicholas Cage character Yuri Orlov, a global arms trader in a pivotal conversation after he has finally been captured by the intrepid agent Jack Valentine (Ethan Hawke) reveals that he will ultimately be released because: "the biggest arms dealer in the world is your boss - the President of the United States, who ships more merchandise in a day than I do in a year - sometimes it's embarrassing to have his fingerprints on the guns.Sometimes he needs a freelancer like me to supply forces he can't be seen supplying". But he can sure as hell make the sales pitches and speeches, only instead of at weapons bazaars he makes them from foreign palaces and government locations as well as historically significant sites - usually linked to some past conflict for maximum effect. One has to wonder whether Obama will show up at the D-Day anniversary ceremony in Normandy with the patches of US arms manufacturers sewn onto his silk suit.

But the warlord in chief was in fine form this week as he laid out the bullshit and demagoguery necessary to start a new cold war with Russia that would represent a windfall for Murder Incorporated with the entirety of NATO spending billions on missile systems and other garbage instead on anything that even remotely benefits their people. While in Poland, Obama promised a sweetener of $1 billion in loot stolen from the American taxpayers that could be better used to rebuild our own crumbling country to the new foreign war effort. Arriving in Warsaw to mark 25 years since the first semi-free elections in the communist bloc produced eastern Europe's first non-communist prime minister, the US president pronounced the security of Poland and the three Baltic states, all Nato and EU members, sacrosanct.

Kicking off a week of intensive diplomacy in Europe focused on western responses to Vladimir Putin and Ukraine, Obama announced that he was seeking congressional backing for a billion-dollar fund to rotate more US troops in and out of Poland, to strengthen air patrols over the Baltic, and to beef up naval operations in the Black Sea off the Russian and Ukrainian coasts.

Obama then went to Brussels which in the post-war era has replaced Berlin as the epicenter of the global conquest machine to meet with the phony G7 (which doesn't include major economic powers China and Russia) to engage in more bombastic and bullshit filled rhetoric directed at Putin. El Presidente sounded just like one of those World War II Axis leaders as he delivered an epic teleprompter recital that defies reality to the extent that perhaps the job has driven Barack bonkers. I excerpt from The Guardian article "Obama and Merkel warn of tougher sanctions against Russia over Ukraine":

While Ukraine dominated Wednesday evening's Brussels dinner, it is also certain to loom large over events in France on Friday marking the 70th anniversary of the D-day landings. Putin is to attend and may have his first meeting with Obama since the Ukraine conflict turned violent in February.

In Warsaw Obama accused the Kremlin of resorting to the "dark tactics" of the last century in Ukraine, and pledged to resist Russian aggression in eastern Europe.

"The days of empire and spheres of influence are over," he said at the royal palace in Warsaw.

"Bigger nations must not be allowed to bully the small, or impose their will at the barrel of a gun or with masked men taking over buildings.

"Further Russian provocations will only mean more isolation and costs for Russia. After investing so much blood and treasure to bring Europe together, how can we allow the dark tactics of the 20th century to define this new century?"

Obama invoked the anniversaries this week of the D-day landings in France in 1944 and the communist bloc's first partly free elections in Poland in 1989 as key events in the fight to free Europe from tyranny.

He said: "We've been reminded by Russia's aggression in Ukraine, our free nations cannot be complacent in pursuit of the vision we share – a Europe that is whole and free and at peace. We have to work for that."

The US leader sought to allay fears that the west was reluctant to commit to eastern Europe's security. "As allies, we have a solemn duty to defend your territorial integrity. And we will," he told the Poles.

"We stand together, now and forever, for your freedom is ours. Poland will never stand alone. But not just Poland – Estonia will never stand alone. Latvia will never stand alone. Lithuania will never stand alone. Romania will never stand alone."

In Berlin Merkel, who is to meet Putin in France on Friday, demanded that the Russian leader act forcefully to prevent violence in eastern Ukraine, and to close the borders to arms and paramilitaries entering Ukraine from Russia.

"If this does not stop, we won't flinch from imposing more sanctions," she told the German parliament.

How on God's green Earth can such lunacy be countered? Especially in a nation like The Homeland that is filled with cowards, brainwashed dolts and heavily armed angry mobs all plugged into a Matrix style alternate reality delivered 24/7 via the electronic crackpipe?

His latest blistering diatribe against Putin a man against whom his narcissistic personal vendetta knows no end and Obama is prepared to risk the death of millions to prove that his dick is bigger than his political foe accused Russia of "dark tactics" in Ukraine. He either fails to realize that pumping billions of US taxpayer money into a destabilization campaign that led to a coup against the democratically elected leader in Kiev, and assisted by neo-Nazis who are now on a US sanctioned killing spree are exactly that - "dark tactics" or he is so isolated, clueless and otherwise totally incompetent that he should be removed from office immediately.

Sad that I still have conversations with liberals and Democrats who believe that the man walks on water and is some sort of chess master who despite the dismal record of the last five years is just waiting to spring his grand move. Every despotic society needs it's useful idiots though and US liberals along with the foaming at the mouth right-wingers shrieking for the blood of Bowe Bergdahl to assuage their loss of the latest two wars of US aggression only serve the dark forces that have wrapped a garotte around the neck of Lady Liberty and are applying the final hard twist.

Obama’s Contra Death Squads Coming to Ukraine

Barack Obama has made no secret of his admiration of Ronald Reagan and now he can have his very own death squads. The day after Vice President Joe Biden, he of the shining white donkey teeth that conceal a forked tongue flew to Kiev to meet with the coup government. This coming on the heels of CIA Director John Brennan’s trip after which strange things began to bubble up like that debunked forced Jew registration leaflet and the promulgation of the anti-austerity rebels in East Ukraine were the most virulent form of anti-Semites, this despite the inclusion of actual neo-Nazis within the US backed regime of Prime Minister Arseniy “Yats” Yatsenyuk.  On Tuesday it was announced with much outrage that the body of a pro-junta politician, Vladimir Rybak (no word as of yet whether he was affiliated with either Svoboda or Right-Sector) was discovered having been tortured.  The ground has been prepped for the coming slaughter and Americans, the vast majority having no other source of information outside of the thoroughly controlled state-corporate media can park themselves upon their couches and fire up the electronic crackpipe by tuning in to CNN, MNSBC or FOX and grab some popcorn for it is time for some good ole fashion Rooskie bashing.

The US political class, poisoned by years of exposure to a toxic neocon ideology and presided over by easily offended nincompoops like Obama, Biden and their man over at Foggy Bottom, Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry is lusting for a new Cold War. Kerry, being the prone to chronic bouts of diarrhea of the mouth said as much when he waxed nostalgic about the good old days in a moment when the veil slipped during a speech at the State Department (from RT because something this idiotic will likely be scrubbed from US accounts):

“during the Cold War, it actually – it may not have seemed so at the time, obviously, to great leaders, but it was easier than it is today – simpler is maybe a way to put it.”

“We could make really bad decisions and still win because we were pretty much the sole dominant economic and military power around,” Kerry said. “That’s not true anymore.”

Kerry said that during the era of mutually assured destruction “choices were less varied, less complicated, more stark, more clear.” He said everything was clear cut and split into camps “communism, democracy; West, East; the Iron Curtain, the great line of divide. And many things were subsumed and quashed by that force of that bipolar world.”

In today's world, US foreign policy is more complicated as “the vast array of challenges that we face today as the world is witnessing this explosion of sectarianism, religious extremism, radical ideologies, and frankly too many failed states and failing states – a vast challenge to governance, sometimes even witnessed here in our nation’s capital”

Antiwar.com’s Justin Raimondo is as usual on the attack and he skewers the Massachusetts moron in his Wednesday column entitled “John Kerry: Clueless Buffoon” from which I excerpt:

Yes, those were the Good Old Days – when children in the schoolroom cowered beneath their desks – and we almost went to war with the nuclear-armed Soviet Union over missiles in Cuba which posed no more threat than missiles outside Moscow. Does "quaint" even begin to describe that vintage scene? It’s all so Currier & Ives.

We were the Good Guys and the Russkies were the Bad Guys – and never the morally equivalent twain shall meet! If only we could get back to those halcyon days, everything would be "simpler," says Kerry.

Having an implacable enemy of unrivaled evil supposedly bent on our destruction has its advantages – yes, a US Secretary of State actually does seem to believe this. Having nuclear-armed enemies is a Good Thing – because it makes the job of US officials so much easier. Should we support a South American dictator who murders his own people for looking at him cross-eyed – but of course we should, because he hates the Russkies! Do we really need to build more nuclear weapons than it would take to incinerate the world one-hundred times over? The answer – back then – was an obvious yes, at least to our wise rulers (who never considered how dangerous our arsenal would become once it started to age….). And how about getting involved in a war in Southeast Asia that would take tens of thousands of American lives – and easily a million non-Americans – a war this same John Kerry would refer to with unmitigated contempt as he threw his war medals right back at the Pentagon?

To think that this fool nearly became President of the United States until he was derailed in Ohio back in 2004 – Kerry is another wonderful example of the rottenness of the American political elite that rewards dishonor and incompetence and where the scum always rises to the top.

In Ukraine, acting coup regime President Oleksandr Turchynov is using the discovery of Ryback's corpse as the Gleiwitz incident that will now allow for the paramilitary forces to be unleashed - among them neo-Nazis and likely mercenaries and the slaughter is going to begin. Biden's guarantee to commit the US taxpayers as accomplices to the coming wave of murder, rape and torture has further emboldened the illegally installed puppet government. There is lots and lots of bloodshed coming soon. According to a Reuters story entitled "Ukraine's leaders say have U.S. backing to take on 'aggressors'" from which I excerpt:

Ukraine's government said on Wednesday the United States had promised to stand by it in the face of aggression, and announced that it would press ahead with a security operation to crack down on pro-Russian armed groups.

After a lull for the Easter religious holiday, officials in Kiev decided to renew what they call an "anti-terrorist operation" against separatist militias who have seized control of about a dozen public buildings in eastern Ukraine.

There it is again, the use of "terrorist" to describe political dissenters as if those whose violence in Maidan, who hurled firebombs at police and conducted a violent (US sanctioned) rampage were not "terrorists". Once again, it is the same old hypocrisy wrapped in a flag being used to sell yet more carnage abroad.

Pity the anti-austerity protesters in the East for the pogroms are coming while the stars and stripes fly over a nation steeped in the blissful  peace that is ignorance.

Are Corporate Mercenaries Assisting Neo-Nazis in Ukraine?

With the coup installed government in Kiev about to engage in some very serious skull cracking in order to put down a mounting rebellion in Eastern Ukraine cities there have been some accounts that hired guns from corporate mercenary firms are augmenting the local paramilitary police forces.  With the pushback against the US backed “Yats” regime and it’s neo-Nazi shock troops it is imperative that a real version of the Euromaiden “revolution” not be allowed to take root to oust the stooges of the corporate global finance mafia.  Foretelling what will likely be a massive orgy of state sanctioned violence against Ukranians who reject the coming forced austerity and repression are statements made by the Interior Minister of the occupying government Arsen Avakov that there would be a resolution within 48 hours either by negotiation or through the use of force. Translation: unleash the goon squads for the "anti-terrorist" action.

The corporate and high finance vultures that would reap a windfall off of the toppling of the elected president Viktor Yanukovych are furious over the loss of an estimated $10 billion in natural resource loot from Crimea and are not about to let any more money slip through their bloody claws. The US establishment as well as the EU and the Cold War relic that is NATO, an organization that should have been relegated to the scrap heap of history have too much invested in this already disastrous situation to do anything but double down. It is only standard operating procedure for paid mercenaries to be used and the denials, such as that from the US firm Greystone do not pass the smell test.  This is the way that we roll in America, the taxpayer funded killing sprees of the notorious Blackwater in Iraq are the template, it is just one more way to circumvent the system in order to spread “democracy” at the point of a gun.

In a brief video posted on You Tube that allegedly shows a man in paramilitary police gear being captured after an austerity government push in Kharkov on Thursday the man in black states that “I’m a US citizen” as though it is a magic talisman. It is about 40-45 seconds into what appears to be a video that was taken with a cellphone or similar device in what appears to be an underground setting. While information on the video is sparse and yet to be authenticated could be proof that western backed corporate mercenaries are indeed operating in coordination with the "Yats" regime in putting down dissent. Hey, it is not like big corporations or the US State Department aren't known for using those "security contractors" and it would be foolish to believe that with all that the lunatic push to topple Putin through Ukraine that it would be beyond possibility.  The video, if it is authentic and backed by additional pictures, videos and accounts could be the proverbial smoking gun that the poisonous US establishment and their Deep State propagandists within the media are once again and predictably lying but anything even remotely resembling the truth long ago left the building in The Homeland.  

The video snippet of the alleged mercenary (no word as to his fate was posted to my knowledge)  is an example of the ability for the oppressed to communicate in the interconnected global world.  When the wave of brutal  beat downs of those who do not support the illegitimate government in Kiev there will be more video coming, that much is inevitable. The neocon establishment continues to fight the last war and in their pure, unbridled arrogance believe that the ability to use social media and the internet to expose human rights abuses does not threaten their longterm goal of planetary conquest and neoliberal pillaging - it won’t.  The technologies and platforms such as You Tube and Twitter simply did not exist at the level of sophistication that they do now and the news about marauding, murdering US mercenaries - primarily Blackwater - in Iraq got out anyway.

There is at least an understanding of the potency of social network tools to some degree though, take for example the ZunZuneo aka Cuban Twitter scheme in which the Obama administration used relief agency USAID as a cover for fomenting an uprising in Cuba. While this is indicative of the same Cold War lunacy that is behind the Ukraine debacle and the ongoing pissing contest with Vladimir Putin’s Russia social networking technology is given the degree of importance that it deserves. The problem along with the ongoing blundering of an Obama foreign policy team that is a fucking embarassment to America to put it kindly is that the blinders of American exeptionalism and neocon ideology - that rather closely aligns with the visions of Hitler and Stalin - prevent the acknowledgment that the criminal deeds of the Deep State are more easily exposed than ever. This despite the full spectrum dominance that is evident in the extreme propaganda and dishonest coverage of the events in Ukraine. The anti-Austerity freedom fighters in Donetsk, Kharkov and other eastern cities, on the brink of a pitched battle with paramilitary police, mercenaries and thugs from Pravy Sektor and Svoboda will prove to be a serious, long term detriment to the plans of chopping up the country and selling it to corporate and financial parasites.

NATO is upping the rhetoric and wailing about massed Russian military forces on the border in the latest effort to create a Gleiwitz style pretense for a hot war and Obama and Kerry, both of whom are hellbent at avenging the Syria and Snowden humiliations are showing no signs of backing off.  Were the state-corporate media to bother with the truth it would be that this entire mess is the fault of those two thin-skinned narcissists and their foreign policy team’s billions of dollars in US taxpayer money spent on destabilizing the region.  In the coming sweep and destroy “anti-terrorist” campaign the hotheads and neo-Nazis had best exercise a caution that they have yet to display in that any murder that they perpetrate has the potential of becoming a viral internet video even as those in Eastern Ukraine will be presented with a martyr to further galvanize their opposition to the Washington-Brussels-Kiev Axis of Evil.

I wonder what the American taxpayer who has already been bled dry by government subsidized sprees of gambling by politically connected, unaccountable Wall Street casinos and corporate plunderers who enjoy total impuinty in the corrupt, star-spangled shithole that is The Homeland. There is also the trillons of dollars stolen away by a miltary/surveillance moster that has a vested interest in endless wars to justify their existence - it still smells like a rat that the Cold War II meme began at a very convenient time to prevent cuts in military spending. Billions of dollars pumped into Ukraine alone and Christ knows how many more billions elsewhere - Venezuela, Cuba etc. to destabilize democratically elected governments that do not heel to the whims of the rapacious global finance mafia. Not to mention the money spent to back blatantly in our face neo-Nazis, were the all encompassing bubble of official state-corporate lies and propaganda to ever burst - even temporarily even idiotic Americans have a breaking point.

That breaking point could come if there were a realizaiton that none of this even remotely benefits the average American but only the same global corporate hydra that serves the interest of a very small proportion of a corrupt elite and the institutions that they have erected to protect them. Americans should look at the situation unfolding in Ukraine and ask themselves a very serious question: how long will it be until the mercenaries and the fully militarized police right here in the US of A begin to conduct their own “anti-terrorist” operations because that is exactly the direction that we are heading.

US Mired in Cold War Mentality as Cuban Twitter Scheme Exposed

It's back to the future in The Homeland circa 2014. When the neocons and the dimwitted Obama administration are not actively poking the bear in Russia, for example the destabilization and overthrow of the democratically elected leader in Ukraine and hurling propaganda stink bombs at the Sochi Winter Olympic games they are still to this day trying to foment revolution in Cuba. Jesus Christ, have any of the lunatics who are running this great star-spangled asylum ever studied history? The government that Castro built - after kicking out mobsters and rapacious corporate interests, not that there is much if any difference - has endured for nearly sixty years and eleven US presidents. It would just have to be the ultimate narcissist, Barack Obama who thinks that he can be the one to finally stick a fork into it.

The latest example in an endless series of botched plots is that of ZunZuneo, or the "Cuban Twitter" that was revealed to be a covert attempt by the Obama regime to destabilize the government. Hell, we can't do anything rational such as to normalize relations and open Cuba to American investment and trade the proverbial rising tide that would lift all boats, if anything the ongoing debacle in Iran is proof of that, the dirty trick bag has to be opened and the Cuban government subverted in the finest of post WW II US foreign policy tradition. The story of this show of stupidity by Team Obama was broken by the Associated Press. I excerpt the following from the piece entitled "US SECRETLY CREATED 'CUBAN TWITTER' TO STIR UNREST":

In July 2010, Joe McSpedon, a U.S. government official, flew to Barcelona to put the final touches on a secret plan to build a social media project aimed at undermining Cuba's communist government.

McSpedon and his team of high-tech contractors had come in from Costa Rica and Nicaragua, Washington and Denver. Their mission: to launch a messaging network that could reach hundreds of thousands of Cubans. To hide the network from the Cuban government, they would set up a byzantine system of front companies using a Cayman Islands bank account, and recruit executives who would not be told of the company's ties to the U.S. government.

McSpedon didn't work for the CIA. This was a program paid for and run by the U.S. Agency for International Development, best known for overseeing billions of dollars in U.S. humanitarian aid.

According to documents obtained by The Associated Press and multiple interviews with people involved in the project, the plan was to develop a bare-bones "Cuban Twitter," using cellphone text messaging to evade Cuba's strict control of information and its stranglehold restrictions over the Internet. In a play on Twitter, it was called ZunZuneo — slang for a Cuban hummingbird's tweet.

Documents show the U.S. government planned to build a subscriber base through "non-controversial content": news messages on soccer, music and hurricane updates. Later when the network reached a critical mass of subscribers, perhaps hundreds of thousands, operators would introduce political content aimed at inspiring Cubans to organize "smart mobs" — mass gatherings called at a moment's notice that might trigger a Cuban Spring, or, as one USAID document put it, "renegotiate the balance of power between the state and society."

So the cover is now blown on USAID as being just another front for the endless series of escapades by the US government and the NGO's which are really for the most part front groups in the meddling in the affairs of other countries. The Cold War may officially be over but the dead enders just never stop. Just look at the escalating mess in Ukraine where the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) which took place of the more ostentatious CIA in doing the dirty work of toppling governments not sufficiently following the Washington line. The White House naturally denied that the Cuban Twitter plot was a covert operation but there are Congressional (yes those worthless bastards) probes forthcoming. With Senator Robert "whore chaser" Menendez already chiming in approvingly:  "The whole purpose of our democracy programs, whether it be in Cuba or other parts of the world, is in part to create a free flow of information in closed societies" - the sheer hypocrisy is incredible, given that the New Jersey based kingpin of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee continue to be one of the most vocal advocates of the unconstitutional NSA Stasi mass domestic surveillance and data-mining programs. Super Size This Putin: McDonalds Pulls Out of Crimea

Only in Obama's America could something like this bit of 'news' be sold to the masses of asses by a corrupt cadre of state-corporate media that long ago chucked their first amendment responsibilities into the crapper to become careerist pressititutes riding on the rogue government gravy train. Those economic sanctions that have hurled at Russia with as much real effect as Zell Miller's legendary "spitballs" now are getting some real clout as the punishment towards the reincarnated red menace grows a set of teeth.  McDonalds, the tip of the spear of the corporate American imperial conquest of the world is closing locations in Crimea. This comes much to the delight of moronic consumers of the cable ‘news’ tabloid infotainment that poisons their minds as surely as the artery clogging food at Micky D’s does to their bodies. It is a sardonically funny real life example of the thoroughly dishonest rhetoric of that pathological political cynic and closet Bircher Paul Ryan's "full stomachs and empty souls" speech to the low-hanging fruit at the recent CPAC soiree.  Nothing could be more ironically truthful of the state of the American "consumer" today, whether it be focus group tested bullshit or cheap fast food that is being devoured.

Boy that is going to show Putin. I can practically see William Kristol, the Kagan Brothers, John McCain and the rest of the neocons popping the champagne corks over this latest fusillade of indignity. Considering the insane levels of hubris, delusion and arrogance among the “end of history” crowd I can really imagine that they think that depriving Russians of greasy, unhealthy American fast food is going to ignite their desired color revolution that will bring about regime change in Russia. What a bunch of  reckless and dangerous dummies and Obama and his Skull and Bones stooge John Kerry are no better. With the latest edition of the impossible dream of Israel accepting a peace deal with the Palestinians now going up like a flaming bag of dogshit John Kerry has officially become the grand marshal of the US fool’s parade. My God, what a mind boggling fiasco of a first year on the job in thoroughly screwing up everything that the stammering ass from Mass got involved in, wasn’t John Bolton available? Good God Obama, did it ever dawn on you that there was a reason why the Republicans supported Kerry for the Secretary of State gig? How is that “Team of Rivals” thing workin’ out for you now?

The news of McDonalds pulling out of Crimea is already being picked up and fed through the echo chamber with the launching pad being th neocon transmission station at the Washington Post. While it hasn't reached the columns of the A team of propagandists over at Pravda on the Potomac, namely neocon war wench Jennifer Rubin and Charles "Dr.Strangelove" Kraüthammer some so-called Russian expert named Kathy Lally is practically peeing in her pants with glee while blogging:

The three McDonald’s restaurants in Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula that has been abruptly annexed by Russia, are now closed. The Ukrainian branch of McDonald’s, based in Kiev, said in a statement Thursday that they had been closed for technical reasons, perhaps referring to the difficulty of supplying your restaurants when they turn up in a foreign country overnight.

Although the United States has imposed financial and other sanctions on Moscow because of its Crimean takeover, American businesses have been left free to operate in Russia. McDonald’s said the closing was temporary, but its offer to move employees to other jobs in mainland Ukraine - and give them a three-month rent payment - made that assertion sound less than persuasive.

Crimean officials tried to minimize the enormity of being forever deprived of the seductive phrase, “Would you like fries with that?”

My fellow Americans, this is how low that we have sunk in that the closing of McDonalds restaurants in Crimea has become to this point the most kick ass club in the bag in terms of all of those threatened economic sanctions that have been endlessly threatened by Team Obama. Oh, and Mighty Taco has banned Putin from eating in any of their restaurants, I am sure that he is already on the phone with his military commanders to get the fuck out of Crimea asap. This coordinated onslaught of Russia bashing is all so ridiculous that it has descended into parody, I cannot even watch my local news anymore without being blasted with propaganda and last night there was a plea for bay area residents to adopt those stray dogs that were being hunted down to be killed prior to the Sochi Winter Olympics. It never ends as we continue to slouch towards Idiocracy, on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week much to the delight of a woeful nation of TV addled zombies the reigning queen of American ignoramuses that is Sarah Palin was trotted out to partake in a Putin skewering skit , the woman is a national embarrassment yet in a rotting empire where celebrity is the coin of the realm has become mainstream. It is as if the entire nation is slowly being sucked into the vortex inhabited by such morons and is becoming nothing more than a cartoon version of itself.

Likely to further inflame tensions and up the insanity level is the outstanding denunciation of one Russian political figure  who administered a classic smackdown, according to a story in The Guardian deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov mocked the current state of lunacy:

"Clearly, the US leadership is really annoyed, and cannot come to terms with the new situation, which has arisen in large part due to the deliberate line taken by the US and its allies in Europe to prepare anti-Russian forces to take power in Ukraine," said deputy foreign minister, Sergei Ryabkov, in an interview with Interfax.

"Trying to demonstrate how unhappy it is with the exercise of free will by the population of Crimea and the decisions we took related to it, Washington is ruining contacts even in places where continuing dialogue is in their own interests."

In addition to sanctions against a number of businessmen and politicians considered to be close to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, the US has responded with other measures, including cancelling all co-operation between Nasa and the Russian space agency, except for joint work on the International Space Station.

"The situation is turning into a joke when, for example, meetings between meteorologists are cancelled," said Ryabkov.

"What can we advise our American colleagues? They should get more fresh air, do yoga, eat healthily, maybe watch some sitcoms on television.

"This is better than getting themselves and others all worked up when they know very well that the train has already departed and that childish tantrums, tears and hysterics will not help things."

HEAR! HEAR! Enough is enough of this silly horseshit. It's long past time for the adults to intervene, stick a pacifier into Obama's pie hole and send Kerry, Powers, Nuland, Rice and the neocons to go and sit in the corner until they can behave in the mature manner that should be expected of statesmen and stateswomen. Oh, and take bad ass Billy Kristol out to the wood shed and give him the type of serious spanking that would give David Vitter a hard on. America is the petulant spoiled child of the world and it is embarrassing to be an American these days due to our tantrum throwing political class. Maybe the neocons can take solace that McDonalds has suspended operations in Crimea, thereby depriving the citizens of the Russian territory of the crappy food that is a major contributor to a plague of health problems here in The Homeland where we are number one - in obesity. Like the rest of our sick national obsession with being that oh so exceptional people the brainwashing that is used by McDonalds in targeting advertising to children is essential in the indoctrination process. Just like the pledge of allegiance which is something that has no place in a "free" country and more appropriately belongs in the same types of authoritarian states that are defined by the criteria that is steeped in the same hypocrisy that is being peddled to justify the new Cold War.

Comrade McCain Warns US Corporations on Doing Business in Russia

De facto President of the United States and preeminent warmongering psychotic Senator John McCain has slipped the chain again. On Friday McCain issued a veiled warning to US corporations seeking to do business with Russia in the frenzied reincarnation of the Cold War that the neocons have been so relentlessly pushing through every propaganda organ in the land. With McCain fully invested in the unelected occupying government in Kiev, he spent much time over there palling around with neo-Nazis before the US backed coup d'etat went down he is in this thing to win it.

In an interview given to Bloomberg TV the globe-trotting bloodsucker who feeds on death and destruction took it upon himself to caution major corporations about exactly how and where they are to do business as Cold War II begins. This will surely go over real well with the crazed neocons, after all their ideological roots sprang from Russia and the diktat from the longtime face of bomb them back to the stone age American foreign policy. I excerpt from the Bloomberg piece entitled "McCain Looks to U.S. Companies in Russia If Putin Pushes":

The U.S. should consider forcing major American companies such as General Electric (GE) and Exxon Mobil to suspend business in or pull out of Russia if President Vladimir Putin attempts to take more territory from Ukraine or other neighboring nations, said Senator John McCain of Arizona.

“I know that that’s a tough call and I know that we don’t want to hurt our own economy, but what are the consequences of Vladimir Putin just being able to act?” McCain, a Republican from Arizona who advocates military assistance for Ukraine, said in an interview for Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt” airing this weekend.

Such a move likely would come through formal sanctions rather than political pressure on individual corporations, McCain said, and “would only be considered” if Putin “went much further.”

In addition to GE and Exxon-Mobil (XOM) Corp., the companies with the largest business interest in Russia include Ford Motor Co. (F), General Motors Co. (GM), Citigroup Inc. (C), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) and PepsiCo Inc. (PEP)

Putin, who annexed Crimea from Ukraine earlier this month, has amassed tens of thousands of troops along the border, which McCain says indicates Russia may strike soon.

It takes a serious egomaniac as well as a real set of stones to threaten, even implicitly the profitability of such enormous American corporations and this may effectively be McCain's political death warrant as CEO's of such huge entities do not take kindly in having some foolish ass tell them how and where to do business, let alone to call them out in such a public manner.  The Arizona Republican party has already censured McCain and he has just opened his mouth one time too many which will likely ensure that there will be a biblical sized tidal wave of campaign funding coming to the Grand Canyon state to primary his ass come 2016.

Not that anyone should ever mistake John Sidney McCain III for representing American values with his ongoing crusade to bankrupt the country by involving it in innumerable wars, civil wars and other insurrections, his sheer contempt for what is left of democracy by not just shutting the fuck up and acknowledging that he lost to the black guy in 2008 and now his open contempt for free enterprise.  The cowardly McCain who has hyped himself as a war hero despite dropping napalm on Vietnamese women and children and then being dumb enough to get shot down and thrown into a prisoner of war camp instead of just doing the honorable thing by killing himself to avoid capture has always been one of the biggest frauds in modern American history. He may be wrap all of his bullshit up in old glory but what he is truly preaching with his message to those corporations is nothing short of Communist style centralized planning and enforcement by a corrupt pack of government jackals.

Let's see those corporations put their money into something that would truly benefit this country by funneling several million dollars into Arizona to fund McCain's opponents.

Kerry Showboats in Kiev as Putin Shows His Missile to Obama

It is so delightfully ironic that in an epic battle of the comparing of dicks that Putin has now one upped the insecure Obama by allegedly test firing a Topol ICBM missile on Tuesday. Let’s just hope that for the sake of the continuation of human life on Earth that the pathological narcissist U.S. President doesn’t decide to prove that his is bigger.  In the latest developments of what the western state-corporate controlled media is breathlessly hyping as Cold War II or the REAL clash of civilizations the hurricane of bullshit reached category four level with an ominous storm surge. Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry, fresh off of his over the top asininity on the Sunday morning propaganda circuit where he uttered the nonsensical words that "You just don't in the 21st century behave in 19th century fashion by invading another country on completely trumped up pretext" which he was allowed to slither off of the hook for by the insufferable gravy-train rider Bob Schieffer who never bothered to bring up the word “Iraq” made landfall in Kiev.

Kerry as is his modus operandi make a big show out of launching into extended forays of verbal mish mash, just as he did when ginning up a case for an attack on Syria until his own tongue did him in and gave Putin a chance to sashay in steal away the next Middle East war. He also laid flowers at the Kiev Memorial for those killed during the violent street protests that were hijacked by western backed fascist goons and turned into murderous riots. But what would a visit to an un-elected government installed by chicanery and subversion by an American official be without the obligatory bribe. Kerry delivered to the newly installed fascist/neo-Nazi stocked regime in Ukraine the gift of the promise of over $1 billion dollars in loan guarantees - hey American taxpayers, you have enjoyed the show on TV now you will be paying for it - with Obama, Kerry, Samantha Power and Susan Rice delivering their brand of liberal interventionism at gunpoint get used to it. There is an acronym that the entire doomed non-elite classes of citizens in The Homeland should become familiar with BOHICA = Bend Over Here It Comes Again. Kerry of course made no reference to the right-wing thugs and neo-Nazis who are backing "Yats" and the occupying government but with the subject being taboo and a likely career killer in the domestic media why would he?

So on it goes, the aggrieved Obama is talking more smack accusing Putin of violating international law - my God has this man no shame? - while he presides over one of the most flagrant violators of the law on the planet.  The entire sordid circus has pretty much reincarnated the neocon ghouls who are caterwauling for war with Russia at the top of their lungs from the think tanks, media venues and editorial pages from which they pontificate to send others to their deaths and permanent maiming as though it is some kind of sick fucking game. While they have spent the last two decades since the fall of the Soviet Union - their original object of hatred - backing illegal wars against nearly every country in the vicinity of Israel the new tensions with the Bear have them honing in with a laser focus. The scrum will soon be joined just in time for the 2014 mid-terms by the packs of corrupt charlatans and opportunists in both of our now beyond salvage criminal political parties with all of them trying to one up each other on how best to nuke Russia. There is yet anther excuse to once again avoid any sort of serious discussion of the real issues that plague America such as the economic strip-mining by looter capitalists, government subsidized financial markets, offshoring of jobs (crack cocaine to CEOs) and that hidden inflation that is conveniently omitted from official figures but is seen during every trip to the grocery store with rising prices and shrinking packages.

But as bad as it gets here in the U.S. of A. with the ongoing redistribution of wealth to the fractional upper 1 percent and the ongoing funding of wars without end it is going to be far worse in Ukraine as the pigs will soon be feasting with the devastating austerity package that is about to be imposed. The global finance mafia is going to devour the people of Ukraine once western control has been consolidated. The interim prime minister "Yats", an endearing nickname made famous by the "Fuck the EU" intercepted and leaked phone call of one Victoria Nuland who is an Assistant Secretary of State in charge of European and Eurasian Affairs is a made man with a job to do. Arseniy Yatsenyuk is a former central banker and therefore the top choice to wield the carving knife soon to be taken to those essential services, social programs and pensions that have to be stolen from the people in yet another country that will be assimilated into the Borg collective of the impoverished. He is also the chosen man of American interests to get the job done so that the parasitic elite can revel in their theft of even more money to finance their lavish globe-trotting lifestyles. He has the full backing of the U.S. establishment as well as vicious state-protected goon squads to act as enforcers with those who dare to step out of line including Nazi wannabes - it all sounds so 1980's Latin American but with the coming of Cold War II it is back to the future for The Homeland.

The Ugly American: Obama Throws Tantrum over Ukraine

There was once a time when I thought that the prospects of a Sarah Palin presidency were the blood thirsty old bastard McCain to have kicked the bucket had he beaten Barack Obama in 2008 would be the end of the world as we know it. But in now watching this current reckless administration careening around I have to admit that I was likely wrong. Palin was an abject moron but it is precisely that quality which would have limited the amount of damage that she would do in that she would have been kept a good distance from the nuclear launch codes and relegated to a purely figurehead role while the adults actually ran the show. Hell, if George W. Bush didn’t manage to blow up the planet in eight years we could have muddled through under the brief tenure of the ‘Killa from Wasilla’ until a suitable replacement was put into office. Now I fear that with the actions of the inexperienced, incompetent narcissist Obama who has been locked in an ugly feud with Russia’s Vladimir Putin - that began with the granting of asylum to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and then boiled over with his intervening to stop the Obama-Kerry attack on Syria –it is Obama himself that is the greatest threat to this country that exists today.

Real leaders don’t throw tantrums as Obama is doing with his overreaction to Putin sending his military into Crimea after the western backed coup d’etat in Kiev dislodged the democratically elected President Viktor Yanukovych in favor of a western puppet. Obama has denounced Putin and dispatched Secretary of Skull and Bones John Kerry to Ukraine to shore up U.S. support for the illicit government that was put into power after gangs of violent fascist thugs including neo-Nazis turned the streets of Kiev into a fire illuminated bonfire of anarchy. Pissed off over years of obstruction and warfare with a corrupt GOP that is desperate to wrest controls of the corporate spoils system away, humiliated by the unconstitutional rampage of his NSA Stasi that Snowden revealed, saddled with an economy that only can function with the ongoing anal raping of the American taxpayer to funnel  tens of billions of dollars a month into a failed system of Wall Street gambling and surrounded by lackeys and sycophants Barry is going berserk over being once again punked by Putin. 

El Presidente  just cancelled "trade and investment" talks with Russia and his Secretary of State has been threatening to oust Russia from the G8 entirely, the Pentagon has also suspended military ties and they are just getting warmed up. Obama can't be happy this morning after once again being used as a foot-stool by Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and like the drunken bully who takes it out by drop-kicking the poor dog or smacking the wife and kids around after a bad day at work is hellbent on doing the same to Putin. The problem though is that when it comes to experience and actual leadership Barry is strictly in the bush leagues when it comes to playing ball against a seasoned veteran. Putin will take the early 'rope a dope' flurry of blows delivered by the petulant head of a rapidly impotent global bully and will ultimately turn the tables therefore inflicting yet more embarrassment and indignity upon The Homeland. He is already upping the ante by rightfully stating that Yanukovych was taken out by an "unconstitutional coup" and referencing that place where the corrupt western media will not go - that the putsch was assisted by fascist hooligans and neo-Nazi thugs: “I agree with Maidan’s demand for cardinal change in power … but there is the danger that a fascist element will come to the fore, and some anti-semite will come to power” - according to The Guardian.

Oh, and he is threatening to cut off gas exports. In a thinly veiled threat against the prospective members of Obama's  'coalition of the willing' to punish Putin with economic sanctions Gazprom made it known that Europe would find itself increasingly dependent on Russian gas in the years to come.  We will soon see just who has the stomach to indulge Obama's latest outbreak of childishness. 

The old warhorse himself Pat Buchanan (whom I don’t always agree with) calls a spade a spade with his latest column on the Obama hissy fit enabled by the neocon embeds within state institutions such as the media. The piece is entitled “Tune Out the War Party!” from which I excerpt:

With Vladimir Putin’s dispatch of Russian troops into Crimea, our war hawks are breathing fire. Russophobia is rampant and the op-ed pages are ablaze here.

Barack Obama should tune them out, and reflect on how Cold War presidents dealt with far graver clashes with Moscow.

When Red Army tank divisions crushed the Hungarian freedom fighters in 1956, killing 50,000, Eisenhower did not lift a finger. When Khrushchev built the Berlin Wall, JFK went to Berlin and gave a speech.

When Warsaw Pact troops crushed the Prague Spring in 1968, LBJ did nothing. When, Moscow ordered Gen. Wojciech Jaruzelski to smash Solidarity, Ronald Reagan refused to put Warsaw in default.

These presidents saw no vital U.S. interest imperiled in these Soviet actions, however brutal. They sensed that time was on our side in the Cold War. And history has proven them right.

The Washington Post calls Putin’s move a “naked act of armed aggression in the center of Europe.” The Crimea is in the center of Europe? We are paying a price for our failure to teach geography.

The Post also urges an ultimatum to Putin: Get out of Crimea, or we impose sanctions that could “sink the Russian financial system.”

While we and the EU could cripple Russia’s economy and bring down her banks, is this wise? What if Moscow responds by cutting off credits to Ukraine, calling in Kiev’s debts, refusing to buy her goods and raising the price of oil and gas?

This would leave the EU and us with responsibility for a basket-case nation the size of France and four times as populous as Greece. Are Angela Merkel and the EU ready to take on that load, after bailing out the PIIGS – Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain?

If we push Russia out of the tent, to whom do we think Putin will turn, if not China?

This is not a call to ignore what is going on, but to understand it and act in the long-term interests of the United States.

Many things can be said about Buchanan, both good and bad but what cannot be denied is that he has been there before when it comes to geopolitics particularly as a crucial member of the Nixon administration and accompanied Tricky Dick to China back when Obama had barely grown out of wearing diapers.  His advice should be heeded as that of any rational person when it comes to this rapidly escalating and thoroughly unnecessary pissing contest between Obama and Putin.

I don't have much confidence in the adults intervening in time to prevent Barry from soiling himself once again on the world stage.
