Obama Administration Plots Next Extrajudicial Murder

Having already acted as judge, jury and executioner and gotten away with it scot-free President Barack Obama, our constitutional law professor in chief is preparing to target yet another American citizen for termination with extreme prejudice. In a flurry of stories on Monday it has been stated that the Obama administration is about to launch another operation to carry out an extrajudicial murder of a so-called threat to America, reported to be a member of the now umbrella term that is applied to ALL Islamic militants - Al Qaeda.  The yet unnamed target of the coming murder without a trial is only identified as being a part of “Al Qaeda” which has become a resurgent Manichean devil serving perfectly the interests of a militarist surveillance state that is  increasingly losing the war of public opinion for its now obvious lawless and renegade nature. If the propaganda of the swarthy Muslim menace and their new Islamic caliphate accompanied by the coming activation of thousands of domestic sleeper cells to launch terrorist attacks and force Americans to heel to Sharia law can just be hammered home to keep the scrutiny at bay while the criminal hydra reconfigures then the pushback can begin in earnest. Pickup lists that are likely already being compiled by NSA spying will lead to mass arrests, mass detentions (per Justice Scalia) and the extrajudicial murders of domestic ‘troublemakers’ - this is the way that it always works in a nascent totalitarian state.
Obama has already set the precedent with the killing of American born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen in 2011. Alwaki had at one time been used as an example of a ‘good Muslim’ by the U.S. establishment to the extent that he was featured in a Washington Post puff piece about Ramadan. He however became increasingly radicalized by the vicious anti-Muslim response to the ‘day that changed everything’, September 11, 2001 and began to call for jihad thereby making him a perfect candidate for the Obama “kill list”. Not that I condone al-Awlaki’s calls for attacks on innocent Americans but that isn’t the point - we at least theoretically are a constitutional republic and as such there are certain rights that U.S. citizens are entitled to such as due process. It is a serious departure from the rule of law when a president is given the unaccountable powers of a king which is increasingly how the head of the executive branch is allowed to operate. When al-Awlaki was murdered instead of being apprehended and brought back to the U.S. to stand trial it was the equivalent of crossing the Rubicon. The Obama regime then followed up that killing with the murder by drone of his teenage son also without due process but very more ominously in what bodes ill for the future of all who oppose the criminal state as a sort of pre-crime form of intervention to prevent the son from avenging the father.
Where does it all end?
The knuckle-dragging thug who is safely gerrymandered Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers who represents only a fraction of a percentage of the country yet due to our perverse system of government is able to lord it over the majority from his throne as House Intelligence Committee boss mouthed off during a hearing on security threats last week according to a Washington Post story published today:
“Individuals who would have been previously removed from the battlefield by U.S. counter terrorism operations for attacking or plotting to attack U.S. interests remain free because of self-imposed red tape”. He added that the new constraints on drone strikes are “endangering the lives of Americans at home and our military overseas in a way that is frustrating to our allies and frustrating to those of us who engage in the oversight of our classified activities.”
Rogers is a fascist scumbag, that much is beyond any reasonable argument and a lying one at that for his belching out of allegations that former government contractor turned NSA whistleblower is a Russian spy and that journalist Glenn Greenwald is a “thief”.  The man has an absolute hard-on to do it the John Wayne way and kill both of them and another Obama extrajudicial assassination of a U.S. citizen would bring him all that much closer to realizing that wet dream of his. Rogers is never called out for his bullshit nor asked for proof of his allegations but when you happen to hail from a state in which the high-rolling DeVos family has set up operations in and can ensure that those swinish gangsters can operate with impunity you are a made man in The Homeland circa 2014.
Speaking of Glenn Greenwald today marks the day of the launching of the long anticipated new media venture First Look Media. The first of several different online magazine is called “The Intercept” and will serve as an independent vehicle for the type of crusading, hold corrupt power accountable type of investigative journalism that has been nearly snuffed out in this country by a venal, consolidated and connected corporate media. The first story, in collaboration with journalist Jeremy Scahill (Dirty Wars) is perfectly timed given the Obama administration’s latest targeting of an American without the benefit of a trial in that the NSA has been providing targeting intelligence to the ongoing armed drone attacks that are a pox upon this one great country’s reputation. The piece is entitled "The NSA's Secret Role in the U.S. Assassination Program" details how the American Stasi assists in tracking cell phone coordinated for those targeted for killing. While this fails to surprise those who truly understand the vile and anti-American nature of the wretched hive of scum and villainy at Fort Meade the revelation that the stupid bastards fail to take into account exactly WHO is using the targeted cellphones only further cements the image of an agency that is a sucking black hole of taxpayer money and an abject failure in fighting "terrorism". I excerpt from the piece:
In one tactic, the NSA “geolocates” the SIM card or handset of a suspected terrorist’s mobile phone, enabling the CIA and U.S. military to conduct night raids and drone strikes to kill or capture the individual in possession of the device.
The former JSOC drone operator is adamant that the technology has been responsible for taking out terrorists and networks of people facilitating improvised explosive device attacks against U.S. forces in Afghanistan. But he also states that innocent people have “absolutely” been killed as a result of the NSA’s increasing reliance on the surveillance tactic.
One problem, he explains, is that targets are increasingly aware of the NSA’s reliance on geolocating, and have moved to thwart the tactic. Some have as many as 16 different SIM cards associated with their identity within the High Value Target system. Others, unaware that their mobile phone is being targeted, lend their phone, with the SIM card in it, to friends, children, spouses and family members.
Some top Taliban leaders, knowing of the NSA’s targeting method, have purposely and randomly distributed SIM cards among their units in order to elude their trackers. “They would do things like go to meetings, take all their SIM cards out, put them in a bag, mix them up, and everybody gets a different SIM card when they leave,” the former drone operator says. “That’s how they confuse us.”
As a result, even when the agency correctly identifies and targets a SIM card belonging to a terror suspect, the phone may actually be carried by someone else, who is then killed in a strike. According to the former drone operator, the geolocation cells at the NSA that run the tracking program – known as Geo Cell –sometimes facilitate strikes without knowing whether the individual in possession of a tracked cell phone or SIM card is in fact the intended target of the strike.
“Once the bomb lands or a night raid happens, you know that phone is there,” he says. “But we don’t know who’s behind it, who’s holding it. It’s of course assumed that the phone belongs to a human being who is nefarious and considered an ‘unlawful enemy combatant.’ This is where it gets very shady.”
The former drone operator also says that he personally participated in drone strikes where the identity of the target was known, but other unknown people nearby were also killed.
“They might have been terrorists,” he says. “Or they could have been family members who have nothing to do with the target’s activities.”
Now that is reassuring isn't it? The more that you see exactly how the infrastructure of The Homeland operates as they justify their phony War on Terror and the thousand year reign of the New American Century operates the more they resemble their historical predecessors the Nazis, another corrupt and ultimately incompetent collection of perverts, thugs, petty bureaucrats drunk on power and an ideology that was destined for history's scrap heap from the minute Adolph Hitler stood on a table in a Munich beer hall. Rogers would have fit in nicely as would the vast majority of the decision makers in this collapsing empire of greed, lies, violence and stupidity.
Godwin's Law be damned, he never could have envisioned the criminal swine and vermin who have seized control of the at once free country and hijacked it as a vehicle for their own tyranny and corruption.

Obama's Dilemma: How to Best Kill Snowden

Barack Obama has a problem, with his heralded Friday announcement of NSA "reforms" being just the latest bill of goods foisted off on a doomed public by a professional con artist it should now be crystal clear that there will be no attempts to reign in the American Stasi. What Obama now has to do is to find an acceptable way to eliminate the source of the surveillance state's problems which is of course former government contractor turned whistleblower Edward Snowden from the equation. Barry's dilemma is that with Snowden continuing to receive public support - including what is likely a higher approval level than the pope of hope himself - he can't risk assassinating the man and turning him into a martyr.
While an apprehension of Snowden followed by torture and a huge spectacle of a public show trial that would send a message to any who may have similar ideas would have just a short while back been ideal that is just not going to happen. This is especially so now that even the naive idea of serious oversight let alone meaningful reform of the rogue spying behemoth has been dismissed by El Presidente as though he were flicking a fly off of his collar. With the worst stuff yet to come out and it is going to make what has thus far been revealed look like amateur hour the need to eliminate him as well as others is imperative for the cancer that is eating this country from within to avoid any chance at being cut out. What has yet to break is of course still the subject of much speculation but a recent piece by writer and historian Alfred McCoy (The Politics of Heroin) posted at the website Tom Dispatch under the headline that  "It's About Blackmail, Not National Security" has finally interjected a topic that has been obvious about all of this surveillance from the get go.  McCoy's piece, itself tiled "Surveillance and Scandal" reveals at least one of those functions of the NSA and it's tentacles that is hidden under the star spangled facade of what has always been the phony war on terror.
The escalation of the anti-Snowden smears, especially in the last month by such enemies of the state as the preening little Nazis like Michael Hayden and the fanatical House Intelligence Committee head Mike Rogers who just this week has pretty much accused Snowden of being a Russian spy without a shred of proof which was dutifully promoted by the corrupt state media as fact. Rogers, who is hell bent on destroying every last shred of American privacy is a fascist thug who on a good day does a hell of a good Reinhard Heydrich impersonation has been given to us all by the fine voters in Michigan’s Eight Congressional district.  One would hope that these people will suddenly rise up come November and oust this menace to society and common decency from office but as is so often with these swine they are ensconced for perpetuity in gerrymandered districts and their ability to exert enormous influence of the country at large despite only being a true representative of a very small amount of actual voters. Like Heydrich, Rogers seems like he would do "Night and Fog" very well and as a former FBI agent his jones for unconstitutional voyeurism is only slightly behind that of the maniacal J.Edgar Hoover.
Snowden understandably is scared, you don't spit in Leviathan's face and get away with it. This is especially so when he is one who spiked the ball, proclaimed victory and called out both Rogers and the morally bereft sow Dianne Feinstein aka DiFi for not doing their jobs when it comes to oversight of the surveillance industrial complex. The hydra of malevolence will always rapidly reconfigure itself, especially when it has the greatest propaganda machine in human history, blackmail cards to play on all who have been spied upon and black ops specialists whose primary reason for existence is to follow orders without question, search and destroy and terminate with extreme prejudice. Obama already has become the first U.S. President to openly authorize extrajudicial killings of American citizens and Snowden has now obviously made this very, very personal.
It is of much interest that as the Winter Olympics in Sochi are increasingly becoming the target of what will be some incredibly savage terrorist attacks, the hype today is over the "Black Widow" suicide bombers but notable also that the U.S. government has now ordered planes and warships sent to the Black Sea to "assist" the hated Putin regime in managing the "terrorist" problem. Perhaps if some accounts are true that the Russian leader is even now regretting not taking Bandar Bush up on his alleged offer for in exchange for Putin's cooperation in the preempted war on Syria. It is however a very ominous sign, especially for the cornered whistleblower that Rogers is not only engaging in the promulgating of talking points that he pulled out of his ass about Snowden being Putin's spy but also engaged in the following exchange with CNN's Candy Crowley on the Sunday morning propaganda circuit:
ROGERS:  Yeah.  I am very concerned about the security status of the Olympics.  I do believe that the Russian government needs to be more cooperative with the United States when it comes to the security of the games.  We have found a departure of cooperation that's very concerning to me.
CROWLEY:  Can you tell me what a departure of cooperation is?  What does that mean?  What are they doing?
ROGERS:  Well, think about the problems they've had.  So they've had several bombings.  They disrupted plots.  They've now moved some 30,000 armed troops down to the region.  That tells you that their level of concern is great, but we don't seem to be getting all of the information we need to protect our athletes in the games.  I think this needs to change, and it should change soon.  This is not going to be a political problem for the Russians to share, although they apparently don't think so.  It will be a problem–
CROWLEY:  They don't want to share their intelligence with U.S. intelligence.
ROGERS:  That's correct.  So what we're finding is they aren't giving us the full story about what are the threat streams, who do we need to worry about, are those groups, the terrorist groups who have had some success, are they still plotting?  There's a missing gap, and you never want that when you go into something I think as important as the Olympic Games and the security of the athletes, and the participants and those who come to watch the games.
CROWLEY:  Just quickly if I can, if that does not change, would you worry about U.S. participation in the Olympics?
ROGERS:  If I don't see a higher level of cooperation, I'm concerned today.  I don't think anything would abate that concern short of full cooperation from the Russian security services.
Cooperation likely including the whereabouts of one Edward Snowden whose remaining lifespan at this point may very well be measured in weeks.

Obama Will Reform NSA Just Like He Closed Gitmo

The fix has always been in on any meaningful accountability or reform for the NSA under the Obama regime and Sunday morning’s state media propaganda forums indicate just how powerless that the American people truly are. Appearing on NBC’s Press the Meat were the NSA Stasi’s two biggest cheerleaders, apple pie authoritarian House Intelligence Committee capo Mike Rogers and Senate Intelligence Committee boss Dianne Feinstein. Both of whom are an ongoing disgrace to any concept of a free country as well as two serial violators of their oaths to uphold the Constitution and they gushed approvingly over Barry’s Friday speech at the Department of Injustice where he also demonstrated the requisite level of contempt for the U.S. Constitution necessary for a post September 11, 2001 president by refusing to do anything that would reign in the runaway spy machine.

Now that the initial wave of spin has been unleashed it will be hammered home by the  state media and Obama himself as he ramps up to make his pitch to the American people in the upcoming State of the Union address.  Friday’s speech had to be one of the most cynical that Obama has ever made as he did his job in selling the need for mass warrantless surveillance and data storage while providing a few small concessions along with no details on how they will be implemented.  My money is on that they won’t as Americans have extremely short attention spans and after all, who cares if they are spying on them if they aren’t doing anything wrong. The speech was peppered with so many references to ‘the day when everything changed’ that it could have been given by George W. Bush:

The horror of September 11th brought these issues to the fore. (to this day there has been no accountability for those on watch on that day, normally when one is that incompetent they are fired)

It is hard to overstate the transformation America’s intelligence community had to go through after 9/11. (Even harder to overstate how much taxpayer money that could have been better spent began to be funneled into the greatest growth industry of the 21st century: the surveillance industrial complex)

We saw, in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, our government engaged in enhanced interrogation techniques that contradicted our values. (The torture continues but has been outsourced)

Some of the worst excesses that emerged after 9/11 were curbed by the time I took office. (However the drone strikes increased and Obama authorized the extrajudicial killing of American citizens)

They know that if another 9/11 or massive cyber-attack occurs, they will be asked,by Congress and the media, why they failed to connect the dots. (This is exactly what the NSA and the war machine so badly needs to happen because dissenters will then become the enemies of the state and labeled as "terrorists")

A fresh examination of our surveillance programs was a necessary next step in our effort to get off the open ended war-footing that we have maintained since 9/11. (Iran anyone?)
Those who are troubled by our existing programs are not interested in a repeat of 9/11. (Nor are they interested in living in a modern incarnation of Nazi Germany)

Why is this necessary? The program grew out of a desire to address a gap identified after 9/11. (Cui Bono?)

One of the 9/11 hijackers – Khalid al-Mihdhar – made a phone call from San Diego to a known al Qaeda safe-house in Yemen. (Refer to New Yorker article by Lawrence Wright "The Al Qaeda Switchboard" and ask exactly why the CIA has never been held responsible for failing to share this information)

Rogers and DiFi appeared that they were near orgasm as they basked in the glow of vindication with Obama’s refusal to stop the mass surveillance program. Feinstein who has served as an impenetrable firewall of cellulite around the unconstitutional spying and data mining conjured up the standard tired talking points that are always used by those whose abrogation of their duties to serve the American people who they view at best as meddlesome and at worst as enemies: “A lot of the privacy people perhaps don't understand that we still occupy the role of the Great Satan. New bombs are being devised. New terrorists are emerging, new groups, actually, a new level of viciousness”. Of course it is never addressed that U.S. foreign policy including the ongoing special operations assassinations and errant drone strikes that kill innocent women and children fuel much of the hatred. The "Great Satan" thing is also getting stale as it is our precious ally the House of Saud that often funds these militant Islamist groups lest they turn on their true oppressors the corrupt monarchy. DiFi also laid out the big lie that if the corporations can do it then so can the U.S. government: “When you look at what companies collect, the government does not seem to be a major offender at all”. What she doesn't bother to mention is that these big corporations do not have the full power of the state behind them with which is used to falsely accuse, imprison, murder and destroy lives with. Not that David Gregory would bother with any of those follow up questions which is why he has his gig.

Über fascist Mike Rogers provided his usual denials of criminal conduct and false equivalencies as well as his detest for those who seek to expose and restrain the NSA Stasi. His remarks continued the ongoing escalation of official rhetoric directed towards former government contractor turned NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden which I excerpt from an NBC News article:

“That's like having the janitor at a bank who figured out how to steal some money deciding matters of high finance. This was a thief, who we believe had some help, who stole information the vast majority, had nothing to do with privacy. Our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines have been incredibly harmed by the data that he has taken with him and we believe now is in the hands of nation states.”

And

“We're going to have to rebuild whole aspects of operations from our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines that will cost billions and billions of dollars because the information he stole and gave, which we believe is now in the hands of nation states, who are doing something with it. There's no honor in that.”

And

“He was stealing information that had to do with how we operate overseas to collect information to keep Americans safe…. And some of the things he did were beyond his technical capabilities” -- a fact which Rogers said “raises more questions. How he arranged travel before he left. How he was ready to go, he had a go bag, if you will.”

Rogers added that he believes “there's a reason he ended up in the hands, the loving arms, of an FSB (Russian security service) agent in Moscow. I don't think that's a coincidence.”

The narrative is firmly being established that Snowden is a traitor and a terrorist. There is a constant laying the groundwork for what increasingly appears a likely Obama authorized assassination of Snowden either by JSOC special ops teams or by drone or maybe he will just happen to end up dead in an Olympic related "terrorist" incident in Russia next month.

When our narcissist in chief, so concerned with his place in history is eventually remembered for the immense damage that he has inflicted upon this country in not only continuing the policies of the Bushreich but refining and making them even worse, assisted by the likes of Rogers and Feinstein it will be far too late for those who are destined for doom as a result of his policies.

Would Obama Authorize Snowden’s Assassination?

“Death solves all problems, no man no problem”

-Joseph Stalin

With the new Oceania’s eternal wars now well into the second decade and the hijacked and subverted government screaming “national security” whenever their illicit programs are threatened by even the most minimal of oversight it is a legitimate question as to how far that they will go. As the concerted pushback against the revelations of former government contractor employee Edward Snowden turned NSA whistleblower roar into the new year, intensifying like a hurricane destined to extract maximum vengeance on landfall could this government now be moving towards escalation? Would President Barack Obama sign off on the targeted assassination of Snowden? Would his administration turn a blind eye while CIA or JSOC hit squads murdered him so as to preserve an aura of plausible deniability? Would any rational person who is aware of just how far down the rabbit hole of an abyss that we have all been dragged into since September 11, 2001 be surprised if this were to occur?

The damage that Snowden has inflicted on the fascist state that rose out of the darkness of that Tuesday morning in late summer of 2001 is immense and as we continually are assured by Guardian journalist Glenn Greenwald (who had also best be watching his back) there is more coming on NSA criminality. Just this past weekend, after authoritarians received a late Christmas present with federal Judge William Pauley’s ridiculously anti-American ruling in favor of the American Stasi on Friday there have been stories broken. Germany's Der Spiegel featured a large piece on the NSA's TAO division (Tailored Access Operations) that operates out of a secretive facility in San Antonio and specializes in hacking into computers and networks around the world. The unit offers up an array of sophisticated technical gadgetry, engages in the intercepting of shipped computers in order to implant "back doors" while they are enroute to buyers - yet another revelation that NSA activities are going to do even more costly damage to American businesses and taps into underseas telecommunications cables. If what has been seen to this point and with the escalation of the shadow government's war on journalists (particularly Greenwald) through operatives like Alan Dershowitz, capture of the courts to perform legal gymnastics to find programs to be constitutional on hair-splitting and technicalities and the braying of "treason" charges against Snowden the worst is still yet to be published and the decision has likely already been made to stop it under any and all circumstances.

This would include the removal of Snowden from the mortal coil, not the best option for a desperate rogue state in that it would make him into a martyr but he is even now becoming a powerful symbol that the bastards can be fought. When Snowden came out last weekend and declared victory it crossed a line and it would be so far against the grain of what the post September 11, 2001 junta on the Potomac to think that there is not currently a serious lobbying effort being made to terminate Snowden with extreme prejudice. Hell, it's not like Obama is adverse to ordering the killing of American citizens without due process, he already one-upped George Bush and Dick Cheney with the extrajudicial assassination of radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Mr. al-Awlaki was born in New Mexico, for a period following the 9/11 attacks was sought out by the establishment as a rational representation of an American Muslim (see WaPo piece from 2001) and was even invited to a dinner at The Pentagon. The iman became increasingly radicalized by the phony war on terror and its underlying war on Muslims and soon ended up as an enemy of the state, affixed with the al Qaeda devil horns by the propagandists and on the JSOC/CIA kill list. In September of 2011 the Obama administration had al-Awalki killed by a drone strike in Yemen therefore setting the precedent on depriving an American born citizen of any form of due process, not long afterwards his 16 year old son was also blown into hamburger by a drone, he was also an American citizen by birth. Obama's Justice Department provided the necessary legal cover of the killings in the manner that the department always does when high crimes need the stamp of official state sanction. This is not to defend al-Alwaki's calls for jihad on America but there are certain rights that Americans used to be entitled to as a matter of birthright, one being an actual trial. Obama has set a very dangerous precedent here and his ultimate legacy will be that he not only refined and cleaned up the programs of Bush-Cheney but codified them and sold them to liberals, an always gullible bunch.

Dick Cheney's lackey Michael Hayden, former NSA and CIA head, a regular on the propaganda circuit continued to nudge the "treason" accusation closer to mass dissemination with his Sunday morning gig on CBS's (the network that was just busted for airing a total fabrication of a propaganda piece on Benghazi) Face the Nation. Hayden, who bears far more responsibility for the unconstitutional NSA programs than current American Stasi Commandant Keith Alexander spoke that Snowden's leaks have left the agency "infinitely weaker" (a damned good thing for America in my opinion) and that "What Snowden is revealing … is the plumbing. He’s revealing how we acquire this information.” The irony of a turd like Hayden speaking of "plumbing" is just priceless and is illustrative of the absolute panic that exists that the Roto Rooter men are slowly unplugging the pipes and that the ensuing torrent that is about to come sluicing out has the capability of drowning the real traitors who have used their wars and fear mongering to disembowel the Constitution and destroy the very concept of a free and open society for their own sordid and nefarious ends. Snowden as it has been made abundantly clear by both the Obama
administration and the neocon propagandists is already an enemy of the state, just like al-Awlaki was.
So the question remains, will Barry do it if ongoing efforts to drag Snowden back for a show trial and a life in a torture prison do not bear fruit? He has already proved that he is willing to act as judge, jury and executioner out of sheer political expedience and nothing should be ruled out for our constitutional law professor in chief.
