Chris Christie Wants to Hire FEDEX CEO to Devise Immigrant Tracking System

Governor Flounder aka Chris Christie may be doomed as far as having any chance to win the 2016 GOP presidential nomination but that won’t stop him from spouting asinine nonsense. In an attempt to overcome his dismal poll numbers, the boss man from the Sopranos state is taking a whack at putting his own stamp on the illegal alien problem. Christie is proposing that a Federal Express style tracking system be implemented in order to keep tabs on foreign visitors and that a Chris Christie administration would contract devising the system out to FedEx CEO Fred Smith - likely at a steep cost to taxpayers. You have to hand it to the guy, he is great at pulling stuff out of his big fat ass that are the wet dreams of a totalitarian state and this system could be the proverbial camel’s nose under the tent leading to the tracking of far more folks than only the illegals.

As reported by CNN in the story “Christie: Track immigrants like FedEx packages”:

Chris Christie said Saturday that if elected president, he will track undocumented immigrants like FedEx packages.

"I'm going to have Fred Smith, the founder of FedEx, come work for the government for three months. Just come for three months to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and show these people," the New Jersey governor said at a town hall event here.

Christie added that while FedEx can track boxes, the U.S. can't track undocumented immigrants.

"You go online and at any moment, FedEx can tell you where that package is," he said. "Yet we let people come into this country with visas, and the minute they come in, we lose track of them."

Christie added, "We need to have a system that tracks you from the moment you come in and then when your time is up," he said. "However long your visa is, then we go get you and tap you on the shoulder and say, 'Excuse me, it's time to go.'"

Smith is the father of Samantha Smith, a Christie spokeswoman.

Governor Christie doesn’t bother to mention how he would implement his brilliant system on the millions of illegal aliens and their relatives who are already in the U.S.A. thanks to the failure to secure our porous southern border. What this scheme would more likely lead to is a tracking system that would be a failure when it comes to illegal aliens but would work like a charm when it comes to the federal government keeping tabs on millions of law-abiding American citizens and especially political dissidents.

Just look at how the NSA’s anti-terrorist programs got out of control and have been used to monitor the phone calls, internet activity and financial transactions of American citizens who have never done one damned thing wrong. The terrorists (or in this case immigrants) will end up being the last priority when something like this is rolled out. God forbid, this could even be the beginning of a debate leading to the implanting of microchips into people so that the government can be sure that they aren’t engaging in political activism or behavior deemed to be critical to the establishment.

National security is the last refuge of a scoundrel and Christie, the very definition of a big government loving fascist pig is going to whip up a sense of fear and dread to make a last ditch effort to close the distance between himself and Donald Trump. Pardon the pun but fat chance.

Republicans Now Have Cover to Fund the Homeland Security Gestapo

With Mitch McConnell and John Boehner having now been officially crowned as leaders of the new Republican majority in Congress it is time to begin to do away with all of those pesky promises. The most bothersome to the corrupt establishment is the threatening to withhold funds from the Department of Homeland Security. Back when the pork stuffed abomination that was the “Cromnibus” was rammed through, the GOP leadership effectively punted on challenging Emperor Obama’s decree granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.The argument at the time being that funding the government – and doling out graft – was too important to be held up over taking a principled stand against Obama's executive order. So it was put off until early 2015 when the funding of DHS could serve as a bargaining chip. This was always a loser and the reason why was very predictable because fear sells in America as is now evident in the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo attack.

That the defunding of  any portion of the all-encompassing big government monstrosity that is DHS was ever considered a political possibility shows the idiocy of the political class. There was always going to be an excuse to protect what is the exoskeleton for full blown American fascism. That is so because in today’s world with the constant episodes of radical Islamists murdering people there would be an ample supply of bad-assed bogeymen to justify it's existence. So now with the assassination of twelve people at the headquarters of a satirical French newspaper the excuse has arrived just behind the 2015 New Years baby.

According to a story from The Hill entitled “Security chairman: Paris attack shows DHS must stay funded” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul issues a warning:

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) says the attack in Paris on Wednesday highlights the need to keep the Department of Homeland Security open through the battle over immigration.

Republicans are in the midst of figuring out a strategy to fight President Obama's executive action on immigration. Under the spending bill passed last year, funding for the Department of Homeland Security expires in February, allowing Republicans to revisit the immigration battle.

"Our leadership and I just got out of the meeting and had discussions about how to proceed," McCaul said on CNN's "Situation Room" Wednesday night. "We want to stop this executive action, but I think the responsible individuals like myself have no desire to shut down this department. It's too important to the national security interest of the United States."

"I think this incident today highlights why that's necessary," he later added, referring to the attack by masked gunmen on Charlie Hebdo, a satirical newspaper in Paris, that killed 12 people.

Asked if a deal will be worked out to keep the Department of Homeland Security open, McCaul replied, "Yes."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) also said the department will stay open, though it is unclear what a deal would look like at this point.

"It’s an important piece of legislation, and we’ll decide in February how to handle it, but at the end of the day, we’re going to fund the department, obviously," McConnell said at a press conference earlier on Wednesday.

The Charlie Hebdo attacks were like a gift from the heavens for good ole Mitch McConnell who despite his rhetoric to the contrary will sell out to Obama at the drop of a hat. Now he has political cover as does the resilient Boehner who just swatted down a challenge to his leadership. And the more fascistic Republicans who have always been backers of a gargantuan surveillance and police state have Mitch’s back. Most notably Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

The Palmetto State princess is always sought out by the media for his strident defense of hard-core authoritarian big government which he defends in his best honey-soaked Gomer Pyle style drawl. According to a story from CNN’s website entitled “Paris attack quickly becomes Washington funding fight” Graham warns of using DHS funding as a way to derail Obama’s immigration policy:

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, told CNN after the Paris attack Wednesday that the party should rethink those plans -- or at least make sure they're narrowly tailored.

"I hope that we could challenge the executive action of the President in a mature fashion," he said. "I've never been for shutting down Homeland Security."

The Homeland Security Department's funding is due to expire Feb. 27 -- a date chosen by Republicans in December, as they hashed out a deal to keep the rest of the government up and running through much of 2015, specifically to force Obama into a confrontation over immigration.

Americans ceded their civil liberties to the federal government in the aftermath of 9/11 with nary a whimper and have been rewarded with a doomsday machine that could be used by a charismatic tyrant to carry out purges that Stalin or Hitler could only dream of. The Department of Homeland Security is a threat to every American and should be completely dismantled given the potential to be weaponized and turned against domestic political dissidents, journalists and government critics. Now that the case is being made to back down from using it as a bargaining chip and giving Obama his first big win after the voters demanded change in the mid-terms. Is it just me or does November 4, 2014 now seem like ancient history?

With scum like Graham working the media to feed their propaganda into the national dispersal system it will be politically impossible to even think about touching DHS funding. The star-spangled sheep, never ones to engage in critical thinking are being scared shitless by saturation coverage of the murder of twelve people that didn’t even occur on freaking American soil and the cynical Obama will soon join in by preaching from the bully pulpit.

We are one step further down the road to fascism, a place where elections don’t matter and the power of an ever metastasizing anti-Constitutional cancer continues to eat away at what was once a free country.

More proof that elections don't matter when the entire system is rotten.

Obama Shanks Hispanics in the Back to Save Slimy Democrats

El Presidente hit the Sunday morning television propaganda circuit to explain his announcement that he would take no action on immigration reform until after the November elections. Obama caved in to pressure by feckless Democrats who are facing a shellacking in two months at the polls by postponing his promised executive action until after the votes have been counted. It is a sleazy piece of work by the snake oil salesman in chief, the latest of many. It is  yet another sign of just how quickly that he and the Democrats will take a dump on their base whenever it comes to protecting their own lousy asses. Immigration activists are furious at Obama now so the move will likely backfire and cost the Dems the Senate anyway.

The Democratic loss of the Senate would likely land Mr. Transparency in the hot water of impeachment proceedings, which he deserves on a number of counts. It would be a great thing for America as well because the former Nevada Gaming Commissioner who is the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid would finally be dislodged from his leadership position. But in what would be an even bigger benefit to a flipped Senate, Dianne Feinstein, the impenetrable firewall of cellulite that protects the NSA Stasi would lose her position lording it over the Intelligence Committee. The time has come to drain the swamp and the best thing (other than ousting all incumbents) would be to at least dethrone the corrupt Democratic leadership.

Obama appeared on NBC's Meet the Press (or as I refer to it Press the Meat) with new host Chuck Todd in an extensive interview that covered many topics. I excerpt the following from the transcript:

CHUCK TODD: Let me go to immigration. You made a decision to delay any executive action until after the election. What do you tell the person that's going to get deported before the election that this decision was essentially made in your hopes of saving a democratic Senate?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Well, that-- that's not the reason. A couple of things that I want to say about immigration. Number one, I have been consistent about why this is important. The country's going to be better off if we have an immigration system that works, that has strong border security, that has streamlined our legal immigration system, so the best and the brightest who want to stay here and invest here and create jobs here can do so, that families can be unified, and that a system where the millions of people who are here, in many cases, for a decade or more, who have American kids, who are neighbors, often times are our friends, that they have a path to get legal by paying taxes and getting above board, paying a fine, learning English, if they have to.

So the good news is we have bipartisan support for that. We have a Senate bill that would accomplish that. The House Republicans refuse to do that. And what I said to them was, "If you do not act on something that's so common sense that you got labor, business, evangelicals, law enforcement, you've got folks across the board supporting it, then I'm going to look for all the legal authorities I have to act."

What we've now done is laid the groundwork for that. Jeh Johnson, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, has presented me preliminary, you know, ideas in terms of how we can take executive action. And what I've determined is I want to make sure we get it right. I want to make sure, number one, that all the t’s--

CHUCK TODD: But the politics, I mean, it looks like election year politics.

But of course it is election year politics. Just as much as the faux outrage expressed by Republicans like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who called it "cynical" and his counterpart John Boehner who blasted it as "raw politics". It's not like Boehner is above such things, his crying jags are legendary and always brought to mind a scene from the comedy "Used Cars". The sleazy car salesman gets his dog to play dead and then lays a guilt trip on the sucker that he is selling the lemon vehicle to. It is all about politics now which is one of the primary reasons why the country is going to hell in a bucket because nothing ever gets done that remotely benefits the American people anymore. Eric Cantor has to be the happiest man in America now that he has passed through the revolving door from this most dysfunctional of governments into a high-paying gig on Wall Street.

Obama of course used the Meet the Press interview to blame the whole thing on Republicans rather than his own putrid party or accept responsibility for his own failures. Pushed by Todd to respond to questions about his lack of a strategy in dealing with extremist Islamic army ISIS, dear leader vowed to “go on offense” (very creative as the full NFL season kicks off today) and referred to the movement as:

"It is an abortion, a distortion, an abomination that has somehow tied Islam to the kind of nihilistic thinking that any civilized nation should eliminate" 

I cannot possibly think of three words that better describe Obama's rotten to the core administration than his own: “abortion", "distortion" and "abomination”.
