Powerful Democrat Senator Bob Menendez Indicted on Corruption Charges

New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez, one of the most powerful Democrats in the United States Senate was formally indicted on corruption charges on Wednesday. Menendez, like all criminals proclaimed that he is “innocent” and mixed in “outraged” as well because elements of America’s political elite are rarely if ever are held to account for their abuse of power. It probably didn’t help Menendez’s case that he was often at odds with Emperor Barack Obama and Barry likely sent his remorseless henchman Eric Holder after him to settle the score.

Republicans - despite their ability to play the Soprano State senator off against the hated Obama - must be in high spirits as there is soon going to be one less entrenched career scumbag standing in line of a stronger majority in the Senate.

As reported by Reuters in the story “Senator Menendez of New Jersey indicted on corruption charges”:

U.S. Democratic Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey was indicted on corruption charges, allegations that the high-ranking lawmaker said he would address at a news conference on Wednesday night.

Menendez was indicted by a grand jury in New Jersey for accepting gifts from Salomon Melgen, a Florida ophthalmologist, in exchange for using the power of his Senate office to benefit Melgen's financial and personal interests, according to the court filing.

The allegations against Menendez, a senior lawmaker on foreign policy and banking, raise the possibility of Republicans gaining a 55th Senate seat to strengthen their hand in policy fights with Democratic President Barack Obama, should the senator decide to resign his seat.

Menendez was stepping down as ranking member, or top Democrat, on the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations committee, Senate aides said.

Menendez and Melgen, both 61, were charged with one count of conspiracy, one count of violating the travel act, eight counts of bribery and three counts of honest services fraud. Menendez was also charged with one count of making false statements.

Menendez, in response to previous reports of a federal investigation, has denied wrongdoing. Melgen and his representative could not immediately be reached for comment on the charges.

Menendez is no doubt dirty but so are the vast majority of United States Senators who betray their country on a daily basis and whore themselves out to the highest bidder. The Senator is no stranger to ugly allegations of misconduct and seems to have a taste for sweet young tail, it wasn’t long ago that he was accused of frolicking with underage prostitutes but he was able to wiggle out by blaming it all on Fidel Castro. The Daily Beast, which is pretty much a liberal website has an interesting piece on Menendez entitled “The Soaking Tub Bob Menendez Craved” that is worth a read if only for some of the juicier tidbits like:

If the indictment unsealed this week lands Sen. Bob Menendez in a prison cell, he will at least have the memory of the $1,536.96-a-night suite with a woman in a five-star Paris hotel—thanks to the generosity of his good friend and now co-defendant, Dr. Salomon Melgen.

“King bed, work area with internet, limestone bath with soaking tub and enclosed rain shower,” Menendez wrote in an email allegedly asking his pal to make the reservation and pick up the tab.

And if the same indictment keeps Melgen separated by prison walls from any possible female company, he will at least have the memory of the three girlfriends who secured visas to visit him—thanks to the efforts of Menendez.

The Daily Beast article closes with the hysterical lines “Maybe he and Melgen can somehow explain it all. Otherwise, they will be going to a place where there is no rain shower and no girls at all”. That is a sugar-coated way of saying that the prissy, entitled Senator may soon end up being the bitch of some big fat smelly gold-toothed black career criminal being pimped out for cigarettes and bubble gum. It’s a damned good start but why stop at Menendez? Drain the whole damned swamp in Washington.

We Are Screwed: Obama Chooses Democratic Party Hack as Ebola Czar

Today President Barack Obama began to mitigate the damage that the arrival of the Ebola virus in the United States has done to his already dismal reputation. With the mid-term elections now only eighteen days away and the Democrats hemorrhaging worse than Thomas Eric Duncan, Barry stepped to the plate and is ready to name the nation’s first Ebola Czar. Meet Ron Klain, a Democrat party hack who formerly served as a chief of staff to Vice President Joe Biden. Mr. Klain has no medical background but can be counted upon to be a reliable water carrier for the party which is what really matters.  Just when you think that the Obama operation can’t sink any lower they hit bottom and set up a drilling rig.

According to an article from Yahoo News, “Obama taps former Biden aide Ron Klain as ‘Ebola czar’”:

President Barack Obama has picked Ron Klain, an inside-the-Beltway veteran and well-regarded manager, to oversee and fix the wobbly federal government response to West Africa’s deadly Ebola outbreak.

“The president has asked Ron Klain to take on the task of coordinating his administration’s whole of government Ebola response,” the White House said. His formal title will be “Ebola Response Coordinator.”

Klain, a former chief of staff to Vice President Joe Biden, “will report directly” to Obama Homeland Security Adviser Lisa Monaco and National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

His job will be to ensure “that efforts to protect the American people by detecting, isolating and treating Ebola patients in this country are properly integrated but don’t distract from the aggressive commitment to stopping Ebola at the source in West Africa,” the White House said.

Klain, a veteran of political knife fights like the 2000 presidential election recount in Florida, is generally well regarded in Congress by Democrats and Republicans for his managerial skills. As Biden’s chief of staff, Klain oversaw the implementation of the 2009 economic stimulus package.

Klain, a lawyer by training, currently runs Case Holdings, which oversees the business and charity interests of former AOL Chairman Steve Case. He is also general counsel at Washington-based venture capital firm Revolution LLC.

The announcement came a day after Obama acknowledged that “it might make sense to have one person” overseeing the process “just to make sure that we’re crossing all the T’s and dotting all the I’s going forward.”

Klain literally has credentials to die for.  You might recall that back in 2005 during the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Katrina that another incompetent political stooge drew savage mockery and scorn from Democrats and liberals. Michael Brown, the hand-picked FEMA director of President George W. Bush rocketed to national infamy as New Orleans drowned. Bush ensured that he would forever become synonymous with cronyism of the worst type with his proclamation that "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job".  Brown had as much real life experience with disasters as Obama’s latest pet ass-clown has in epidemiology.

Naturally the Democrats are down with the appointment of a political apparatchik and brain dead buffoon to manage what could end up being a national catastrophe. Hell, with Klain’s appointment we are even more likely to experience a national Ebola outbreak. What on God’s green Earth is wrong with these people? Not to mention that this fixation with naming “czars” is creepy, such a title is decidedly un-American and is a better fit in one of history’s tyrannical communist regimes than a supposedly free country.

The entire Obama response to the domestic Ebola invasion – which his administration bears much responsibility for – has been underwhelming and idiotic. Days prior to his naming of a longtime party loyalist as "czar" he was promising an "Ebola SWAT Team". This should make Americans feel really good in the era of militarized police goon squads. SWAT teams are not your friends. They are the Kevlar clad government thugs who kick down the door in the middle of the night, throw flash grenades into the cribs of toddlers and gun down the family dog. It really makes a person wonder whether some of those sordid and sleazy internet rumors about El Presidente being a closet crack-head may have just a smattering of truth mixed in.

Big Sister on List of Potential Replacements for Departing Eric Holder

The news of Attorney General Eric Holder's surprise resignation on Thursday continues to reverberate throughout the media. To many the departure of Obama's savage legal hatchet man from the nation's top cop gig was cause for celebration. Holder's hostility towards journalists, whistleblowers and the abuse of the World War I era relic that is the Espionage Act of 1917 underlined his seething contempt towards institutional accountability. Of course Holder was only doing the bidding of Obama whose own lawlessness has expanded the scope of executive power to that of a king. Holder was a swine, one of the worst to have ever held the position. He never failed to use his power to protect the abuses of his boss Obama and potential high-rolling backers of the Democratic party. 

Under Holder not one of the degenerate gamblers at the Wall Street casinos who imploded the economy in 2008 went to jail - not one of the motherfuckers. Holder preferred to spend his time engaging in personal crusades against racial injustice whether it existed or was invented. The Democrats love identity group politics, it is like mother's milk to them. It has always been a given the Republicans are chock a block with racists who may as well be card carrying members of the KKK but if you look closely, the Dems are playing the same game with their pandering to non-whites, the LGBT demographic and women. This is disgusting but the majority of people who buy it are incapable of realizing that they are being played by a cynical political party that threw the working class under the bus decades ago. Democrats love war, mass surveillance, torture and drone strikes on wedding parties now that it is their guy in the White House yet they squealed like pigs for Bush's head on a pike for far less than what  Obama is allowed to get away with. It is pretty evident that his skin color has been a dastardly distraction to disguise a lawless fascist warmonger and crony capitalist as some kind of champion of the people. 

Holder could always be relied on to find a racial angle to everything and glom onto it, the latest example being in Ferguson after the militarized police response. Holder as well as Democrats fail to understand that whenever they play the race card for political gain that it only serves to harm the victims of real racism - but being Democrats they just don't give a rat's ass as long as it gets them votes. The man was a fraud of the highest order. He was so crooked that he had to screw his pants on every morning. After his last day on the job there needs to be a massive fumigation tent dropped over the Robert F. Kennedy building to remove the stench of his despicable tenure.

The immediate aftermath of Holder's announcement will have the usual jockeying for position to be his replacement. The media ringmasters of American's political circus - or more appropriately America's carnival of perversion - will spend days gossiping and pontificating on who will next fill the spot. Considering the Democrats need to pander to the array of squabbling identity groups, particularly with elections looming the only disqualifying factor would be a white male. Democrats also need to immunize some other amoral scumbag from what will be withering Senate confirmation hearings so  the smart money may be on Obama picking a woman. With Queen Hillary waiting in the wings it would be good for the party to reinforce the phony "war on women" narrative. Could it be that former DHS boss Janet "Big Sis" Napolitano will get the nod?

Whoever Obama picks will be someone who will continue to cover up his administration's high crimes as well as to continue to enable our power drunk emperor. In a story from The Guardian that is entitled "Holder's potential replacements are all Obama's pals. Could any get confirmed?" it is stated that:

The former head of the Department of Homeland Security and current president of the University of California system would be another classic Obama choice, as they’ve worked together and she’s already been confirmed by the Senate. Napolitano would, however, generate more Republican opposition in the Senate than the anodyne Verrilli, or perhaps anyone this side of Hillary Clinton. A DHS memo about right-wing extremism would set off the wingnut skree machine, and there would also be extensive Republican complaints about “border security” – not to mention howls of “Big Sis”.

The story also names Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and current Solicitor General Donald Verilli as potential choices. There is always the possibility as well for the fascist extremist Cass Sunstein to be thrown into the mix but he seems destined for the Supreme Court, particularly if Hitlery is elected in 2016.

The Washington political website, The Hill ranks Napolitano as number two on their list of "Five Candidates to Replace Holder":

2.) Janet Napolitano

The former Arizona governor, state attorney general and federal prosecutor was said to be interested in replacing Holder at DOJ when she was still serving as Obama’s Homeland Security secretary. But Holder stayed and on and Napolitano left Washington last year to take a lucrative job as the first female president of the massive University of California system.

She unquestionably has the resume to lead the DOJ: former President Clinton appointed her U.S. Attorney for Arizona in 1993, and she later successfully ran for Arizona attorney general and governor in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Napolitano endorsed Obama over Hillary Clinton in 2008 — even though Clinton's husband had helped launch her political career — and Obama brought Napolitano into his Cabinet as DHS secretary.

It may be extremely difficult to get "Big Sis" through the Senate though. It would be akin trying to shove an enormous greased pig through a very narrow chute but she would be absolutely perfect for the times. With Obama's new Middle East war - and I still harbor doubts that his bombings are for anything other than political reasons - it is important to  to quash dissent and outside of Holder there is nobody better than Napolitano. During her tenure at Homeland Security she was instrumental in selling the "If you See Something Say Something" campaign that encouraged Americans to rat out their friends and neighbors. It was under Napolitano that a deal was reached with Wal-Mart to actually use the televisions by the check out stands to air propaganda pieces to promote the program which drew much criticism at the time.

In a nation of rats there has been no greater champion of snitching on your neighbor - Nazi style - than Big Sis. 

She is probably a long shot though. Far too many people are onto her after the stint at Homeland Security and her fat ass would be smacked around like an ugly pinata during hearings. That may not stop Obama as there are rumblings that he will be doing his damned best to push through the new A.G. in a blitzkrieg move . Harry Reid did after all change the rules last year and this would be the perfect opportunity to ensure that some fascist would be installed while Dems still hold a majority.  The Republicans, in anticipation of such chicanery are already digging in and sternly warning Obama to not try to ram through Holder's replacement during the "lame duck" period after the Dems get creamed on November 4th.

The king will be desperate to get one of his cronies in place before the control of the Senate officially flips with the swearing in of the next Congress because he needs impeachment protection insurance. Don't be surprised to see Obama using the bully pulpit to demagogue about how any delay in replacing Holder is going to make the country vulnerable to being attacked by terrorists. This could work too given the general air of jumpiness and unease over the Muslim menace that the administration has been hyping with their warnings about the badder than ISIS group named Khorasan. It is an obvious hoax though because according to the locals on the ground in Syria the group has never been heard of which should set off bullshit detectors in a functional democracy. The satirical website  The Onion is running a piece entitled "Obama Informs Nation Anarchy Will Reign During Search For New Attorney General":

Obama, who issued a stern warning to the U.S. populace that frenzied and unrestrained mayhem will grip every corner of the country, stressed that federal laws would soon hold no meaning and that uncontrollable mobs would rampage in every American city, where he said blood would accumulate in great pools in the streets until a successor for Holder is nominated from a list of suitable candidates and subsequently confirmed by the Senate.

“I am saddened to accept the resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder. He held his office with honor and served his country admirably, and as we begin the difficult task of replacing him, I want the American people to understand that the country is now poised to erupt into a vicious maelstrom of horror ungoverned by the laws of man,” said the president, urging citizens to trust no one and to stay in their homes while bedlam consumes the nation. “With a leadership void in the Department of Justice, there is no question that utter chaos and disorder will prevail and our formerly rule-bound society will descend into a cutthroat free-for-all. That is, until this administration and both sides of Congress agree on a replacement.”

It would be right up that slimy bastard's alley to engage in such fear-mongering while he is down in the White House basement huddling with his advisory team. What the ideal candidate must possess is not only a certain allure to the Democratic party base but also a reluctance to prosecute Wall Street financial gangsters as well as a fondness for the aforementioned Espionage Act. What we will not get is a figure of anything that gets within ten miles of integrity. 

Kind of makes one wistful for John Ashcroft and Alberto "Torquemada" Gonzalez doesn't it? 

Democrats Continue to Milk Obama "Impeachment" for Donations

Just to get things out of the way right off the bat so there is no doubt where I stand President Barack Obama should be impeached and removed from office - but it isn't going to happen. Obama should be ousted from power primarily due to his manifest and ongoing unfitness for the gig in the first place. He has always been an amateur, an incompetent and a man who immediately surrounded himself with cronies, crooks and political foes - that slick media hyped team of rivals thing - and has not only carried on with the job that George W. Bush started in destroying the country but has taken it to new levels. Obama presided over the taxpayer funded bailout (and later the coverup) of the great heist pulled off by the Wall Street banksters - not one of whom has gone to prison.

Mr. Hope and Change also bears primary responsibility for that big wet kiss (with plenty of tongue) to the parasitical insurance industry commonly known as Obamacare - the shakedown of Americans to buy crappy health insurance with the power of the government enforcing it. Corporations are already jacking up dependent health care insurance rates in a blatant effort to purge employee family members from their bottom lines and feed them into the maw of Obamacare - actual employees will soon be divested by the big boys in this massive scam that should have been strangled in the crib.  El Presidente has also completed the destabilization of the Middle East that Bush began with the attack on Iraq, trashed the reputation of the U.S. with his above the law NSA spying on everyone on the planet, thrown US backing behind the same type of Nazi filth in Ukraine that the fathers and grandfathers of Americans defeated in World War II and with his ongoing personal vendetta against the leader of a nuclear armed country who embarrassed him has us sitting at the brink of World War III which could be a thermonuclear cataclysm all because of dear leader's wounded pride.

So yeah, the bastard should be impeached but given the level of complicity in his high crimes and misdemeanors that is shared by the enemy of the American people that is Congress he will serve out the remainder of his lamentable second term before turning the keys of the war machine over to his preordained successor Hillary Rodham-Clinton. Obama has been good for business if one is a sociopath who deals in bad paper and human blood and at the end of the day in the smoking remains of what used to be a great country a swine like Obama and his contemptibly corrupt regime is the proverbial goose that laid the golden egg - and the oligarchy is not going to kill it. The impeachment threat does make for good politics in an election year that serves both of our political crime syndicates but especially the putrid Democrats who are making hay off of the non-issue to solicit money from the five to twenty dollar flock of suckers whose small donations fund Democratic party front groups like Move On and Democracy for America.

The letter was signed "Jim" who is James Dean, brother of former Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean, the Vermont screamer. It is just the latest variation of the solicitation email that has been according to what I hear hitting targeted recipients daily in the run-up to the November mid-terms. The Democrats are useless hypocrites and phonies in accusing Republicans of using dog whistle appeals to voters and inflammatory discriminatory words in the "culture wars" that drives so many of their base voters. As anyone can see by reading DFA's appeal for money, from the same people who were screwed over by Obama's ongoing subsidizing of Wall Street gambling casinos and are now being crushed by the hidden inflation of rising food prices and smaller packaging as a result the Democrats use exactly the same tactics. The email is replete with references to bogeymen "Sarah Palin" and the "Tea Party" and panders to identity based demographics such as gays, women and non-white voters - the usual suckers who the party riles up every election cycle with cries of imminent Republican persecution and then shits all over after the votes have been counted and the money socked away.

It is quite the scam but there are likely millions of suckers who are going for it and despite DFA's fear-mongering plea that the dough is needed to prevent the takeover of the Senate by the GOP (which is imminent) the money is likely destined for 2016 to fund the great crusade of Queen Hillary the Intevitable, the Joan of Arc of the poor and the downtrodden who will immediately renege on all of her promises - just like Obama did - once the voting is over and there is no longer the need for an army of useful idiots who will be summarily shit upon until the need for their money again arises in 2018.

As the great American writer H.L. Mencken once remarked about the nature of our political system:

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

This is as relevant in 2014 as the day that he wrote it. BOTH of these wretched excuses for political parties in America should be outlawed and their leaders jailed before they can finish destroying this once great country from within.
