Democratic Party Racketeer in Chief Hits the Fundraising Trail

With the November elections now less than a month away along with the near certain Democrat loss of control of the Senate President Barack Obama is hitting the fund raising circuit. The man has zero shame and with America currently in arguably the worst condition at least since the dreary days of the mid-1970's our emperor fiddles while the country gets closer to burning. There are multiple crises ongoing that will have lasting effects better deserving of the attention of the so-called leader of the free world. Yet Mr. Obama continues to be as incompetent, tone-deaf and floating above it all as the day that he first slithered into the White House.

Obama is above all else a political hack, a man who never should have been elected to the highest office in the land let alone included in the top 1,000 list of those most qualified for the job. He has always been an empty suit who channeled the backlash against the George W. Bush regime into a stunning upset of the Clinton machine in the primaries and then a huge electoral win in 2008. But it was all horseshit, Obama was nothing more than a product sold to a large pack of suckers and there are very few who can honestly say that they are not worse off now than they were before January 20, 2009. The Obama con job was so successful with pimping off the hope and change snake oil of brand Obama that he was named as marketer of the year by industry publication Advertising Age.

The flim-flam man in chief has drawn attention and criticism for his appearance at celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow's place to schmooze and pass the hat for donations on Thursday. The online tabloid, The Hollywood Reporter provides the following:

The Democrats many not want President Barack Obama out on the campaign trial, but they're happy to have him at a fundraiser, which brought him back to Los Angeles Thursday and into Gwyneth Paltrow's backyard.

The actress introduced the President to a crowd of 200 supporters. She gushed: "You're so handsome that I can't speak properly." Paltrow also described herself as one of Obama's "biggest fans, if not the biggest."

Paltrow, who was joined by her children, Apple and Moses, told the crowd: "It would be wonderful if we were able to give this man all of the power that he needs to pass the things that he needs to pass." She cited sustainable energy efforts as well as Obama's push for equal pay, which she called "Very important to me as a working mother."

According to a pool report: Obama gave much of his standard fundraiser speech — "tumult" overseas that includes ISIS, Russia and Ebola, about which he said, "I want to assure everybody that the likelihood of an epidemic here in the United States is extraordinarily small, but there's a humanitarian crisis that's happening right now in West Africa where children not much older, and in some cases younger than Apple and Moses, are dying on the streets alone."

He spoke of 55 months of uninterrupted job growth, investments in energy, the success of Obamacare — "and yet people remain anxious."

"Most of the gains in our economy go to the folks who are in this lovely yard — and the average person has not seen their wages or incomes go up in the last 20 years."

Obama finished by making his pitch: "I hope that in these midterms you feel a sense of urgency about this — and I'm talking to you, Democrats."

Of Democrats' "congenital disease," Obama said: "A, we get depressed too easily, and B, we're terrible at paying attention to midterm elections."

Lost in the standard executive-sized serving of hogwash are the comments of the hostess - who must have exercised a gargantuan amount of self-control to have not blown him - that he should be afforded the power of a dictator. At least that is how "It would be wonderful if we were able to give this man all of the power that he needs to pass the things that he needs to pass" can be interpreted by anyone with a brain. Hell, if an influential supporter of George W. Bush would have said such a thing back in 2004  liberals would have been caterwauling in outrage. But there is a reason why the Democrats are going to get shellacked in November and it is that other than the O-Bots and silly-assed liberals, the independents, principled progressives and others who were sold  down the river by Obama and his putrid party are tired of being punked.

The appearance of the reality show president - as he was once tabbed by trends forecaster Gerald Celente - at the soiree hosted by Brad Pitt's ex-girlfriend wasn't the best Obama fundraising story of the week though. That honor goes to this doozy via the Daily Mail entitled "Obama slams GOP as party of billionaires then attends $32k-a-head fundraiser hosted by billionaire property tycoon named Rich Richman" from which I excerpt:

President Barack Obama chided the Republican Party for catering to the 'interests of billionaires' in an email to supporters on Tuesday, then attended a series of high-dollar fundraisers, including one at real estate mogul Rich Richman's house.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser at Richman's house in Greenwich, Connecticut, cost as much as $32,400 a person, according to the White House.

The other two events, held in New York and sponsored by the Democratic National Committee, cost between $1,000 and $32,400 to attend.

As Obama was yucking it up with wealthy Democratic donors, he sent out a fundraising email slamming the GOP for being in the pocket of billionaires, the Washington Times reports.

'If the Republicans win, we know who they’ll be fighting for,' Obama allegedly wrote. 'Once again, the interests of billionaires will come before the needs of the middle class.'

The president opined in the email that 'Republican groups are spending massive sums against us.'

Now there is hypocrisy on display yet the Obama friendly media reports absolutely none of it. In a decent country with a functional media there would be real reporters asking serious questions about this type of sleazy political racketeering.

Too bad that we don't live in one anymore.
