NSA whistleblower William Binney is absolutely correct when speaking of the mass surveillance and data-mining and storage operations as having "the ultimate goal is total population control". The next iteration in the transformation into a totalitarian society will be the inevitable implanting of tracking chips in humans. The key is getting to the point where Americans will willingly accept the chip, mandated forced implantation by the government could be the one thing outside of Dancing With the Stars being taken off the air that could trigger a revolt. There is of course that religious aspect about the mark of the beast and having a chip stuck into you against your will could be a bridge too far and the spark for an uprising so large that it could overwhelm even the militarized police - many of whom may also rebel. So it is of the utmost importance for the public to be conditioned gradually to accept the chip.
Enter billionaire Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation getting behind the newest technological wonder, the implanted birth control chip. Developed by Massachusetts company MicroCHIPS Inc. on seed money provided by Gates this should do wonders in slowly manufacturing consent for the idea of foreign monitoring devices inside the human body. According to The Guardian in a story entitled "Remote-controlled contraceptive microchip could launch by 2018":
The chip is implanted under the skin and releases small doses of the contraceptive hormone levonorgestrel on a daily basis, with enough capacity to last 16 years. About the same size as a Scrabble tile, it houses a series of micro-reservoirs covered by an ultra-thin titanium and platinum seal. The hormone is released by passing a small electric current from an internal battery through the seal, which melts it temporarily, allowing a 30 microgram dose of levonorgestrel to seep out each day. And it can be simply switched off by a wireless remote, avoiding the clinical procedures needed to deactivate other contraceptive implants.
“The ability to turn the device on and off provides a certain convenience factor for those who are planning their family,” says MIT's Dr Robert Farra, adding that “the idea of using a thin membrane like an electric fuse was the most challenging and the most creative problem we had to solve.”
Managing population growth, especially among the poor who in third world impoverished countries who breed like rabbits and need to eat while food supplies dwindle is a noble idea as is the use of contraception in family planning but when implanted microchips become acceptable in a rapidly closing society such as the United States they the possibilities are nothing short of terrifying.
There have already been public relations efforts to normalize the implants, for example the development of chips to deliver medicine in the proper doses at the correct time, for child safety using abduction as a persuasive tactic and in pets. Whenever I warn people who I know of this they look at me like I am insane and that this is science fiction at which time I tell them that we now live in the future and my dog has a GPS tracking chip embedded in it. People are sheep, they will for the most part willingly accept being chipped after it has been normalized or under a coming political regime - one that fully embraces total control and the elimination of dissent for the conquest of the planet - it will be mandated for certain demographics. When that big terrorist attack comes that Dick Cheney seems to know something about (why not waterboard the bastard?) it may even be politically acceptable to implant tracking chips in all Muslims, how far we have come since FDR just had all Japanese Americans rounded up and sent to internment camps.
The chip is coming though as surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west - it is the natural progression of a totalitarian system.
